On the whole : Elegance,Wariness
His speaking a bit unique. He appears to use honorifics to everyone, even Ken or Flan. But there is no sense of respect there. There are several types of honorifics in Japanese, all of it demonstrate politeness toward the others. But in his case, it seems that the purpose is not to show politeness.
I feel he used honorifics, it shows to others his elegance, emotional leeway and refinement. Perhaps his speaking could be considered a part of his negotiation technique. So, his honorifics are a kind of means to an end for himself, not for the other person. Slightly off topic, but given his upbringing and beliefs, he may consider this a necessary way to get up on the same stage as the Mafia and fight. Or unconsciously.
And in his monologue is quite neutral. In there, he don't use honorifics, but it is not casual either. He is calmly analyzing the situation. Or His speaking is undisturbed even when he is angry or upset. He raises his voice when he scolds Ken or Flan, but remains polite speaking.
His first person is formal(He uses "Boku"). Also use almost the same neutral second person for everyone("Kimi") Not many times does he calls to people by thier name, either in the second or third person. If It's necessary,he calls the person by thier full name. These feel him distant from people. It's more like caution than avoidance.
Rarely, he uses a slightly stronger second person("Omae") to companion, but there is no intimidating atmosphere. Rather, he gives the impression of being like an big brother or master. He uses their first names in the second or third person only to his companion.
Overall, his speaking shows his elusive mood. Although he speaks in a seemingly polite manner, he doesn't indicate respect or make himself seem low. He always speaks calmly, but it can also sense that he is wary of the person or situation. On the other hand when speaking with his companion, his speech is exactly the same, but he seems somewhat more relaxed.
