SCP OC-7431 is an old TV that, upon connection to an electricity source, will play a video of a grey-haired humanoid in what appears to be a research lab. Of course, its background tends to switch between various scenes and images, not always constant.
It holds knowledge of all files about the SCP Foundation, updating its data at the same rate of the foundation’s computers and physical files themselves.
As long as it is within an 100 mile radius of any sort of electricity, it is capable of interacting with technology in its containment, such as doors, screens, etc.
It is commonly seen to be used as a training tape or informational video for staff, and the occasional D-Class. The amount of info it gives out also depends on a staff’s clearance member— often redacting or censoring sensitive information when needed.
That is not to say, however, that it is entirely passive. Should all other attempts to handle a situation peacefully fail, SCP OC-7431 is capable of summoning an instance of SCP OC-7431-B. This entity will crawl out of the television when the screen switches to an ‘error’ image.
Any instance of OC-7431-B is incredibly hostile, and actively creates trouble wherever it goes. For this reason, SCP OC-7431 should be removed from any threatening situations when possible to prevent any containment breaches.
An image of SCP OC-7431-B has been placed below this cut. Warnings for any staff sensitive to eye contact, bright colors, or general aversion of vhs technology.
The original, as seen below, was posted on Facebook by a guy in Cincinnati. Someone else saw it and thought they would have more luck propagating it if they changed the city to “Detroit,” because in the American popular consciousness, Detroit is a more infamously blighted city than Cincinnati. And indeed, that version was the one that proliferated, because it resonated more with the people who saw it. The original poster and the original city were forgotten.
Does this really matter to anyone (besides Joshua Cromwell)? Perhaps not. But sometimes people do this with things that are more important than porches…
Made a thingy for my OC— posting this one on main bc I’m too proud of it to leave it to my alt acc rip
Uhhh eyestrain warning cuz of all the glitching and rgb static tv split ig (plus unsettling eye contact cuz this is sorta meant to be all vhs horror themed)
Lmao just assume half of my OCs are all AUs of each other bc I’m not original 👍
Doodles of the various ‘AU’ Resel sillies that u have of the creature-catching games on Roblox (The Pokémon one is based on Brick Bronze sorta)
Doodle World is based off the concept of a puppet/doll controlled by a higher being (aka The Player) user to interact with the smaller world around them
Loomian Legacy is just a teen that knows how important their task is, and stressed about it every living moment
Tales of Tanorio is just a silly, whimsical little guy (older teen/young adult) that gets themselves into situations— their most recent issue being the storyline they’ve been caught in
Pokemon Brick Bronze is a sort of alternate future in which after the events of PBB, an older, adult Resel gains control of Team Eclipse, and uses it to improve the world around them
Will!!! Draw more eventually if I feel like it but for now this is all ig 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
uhhh more SCP OC posting— this time redesigning them entirely from the previous one since it was literally just an AU of another OC that I couldn’t keep consistent 💔
(Idea is heavily based off of the file for SCP-7408! Would highly recommend checking it out!)
⚠️CWs and TWs: Insects (Bees, Wasps, and Hornets), Slight Body Horror (the concept of being made out of bees and stuff ig) ⚠️
If I missed any warnings, please let me know!!!
This lore is super long and in the (mostly) proper SCP containment format I’m so sorry 😭😭😭
-———————— OC LORE BELOW ————————-
Item #: SCP-OC-833
Object Class: Euclid
Special Containment Procedures: Must be kept away from the outside world at all times. If necessary for it to be out in public, then the subject’s face must be covered up at all times. Any incident involving non-foundation personnel will involve the use of Class C, or Class B, amnestics to civilians who have witnessed it.
Although SCP-OC-833-B does not mind being referred to with standard pronouns (it/its), using [they/them], or other such ways to refer to them (he/her/xe) is recommended.
SCP-OC-833-A is a large swarm of insects, consisting of those specifically of the Apis mellifera (European honey bee), Vespa crabro (European hornet), and Vespula germanica (European wasp) species.
By itself, a single SCP-OC-833-A instance acts similar to a regular creature of its species. No anomalous effects have been recorded in this state.
However, should multiple instances gather together, they appear to gain the ability to transform—or warp one’s vision to allow themselves to appear as such—into various mammals, fish, and birds.
All attempts appear to have slight or mild flaws, such as having one too many eyes or limbs, and will act unlike their supposed imitations.
These illusions are considered as SCP-OC-833-B, due to the unusual properties they commonly present, often times entirely separate from the -A instances themselves.
SCP-OC-833-A requires the same needs as a regular kind of its various species; such as nectar, other insects, and meat.
Although it is normal for wasps and hornets to consume meat, -A instances appear to have a preference for human carrion.
The current form of SCP-OC-833-B that -A instances have taken form of is in the shape of an androgynous humanoid, with blonde(?) hair, four eyes, and seemingly of Asian descent.
(As of Addendum OC-833-1, it has been deiscocered that the ‘hair’ of SCP-OC-833-B is entirely consisted of a mix of hair and honey. It is highly recommended not to touch (or eat. That goes to you, Dr. Clef.) their hair, as it contains copious amounts of arsenic and lead.
SCP-OC-833-B is currently employed at Site-CR-27 (See Addendum OC-833-2 for more information), as a Level 3 Researcher. They are aware of their own file, yet only seem to care about grammatical errors in the work.
Dr. “Swarm” is SCP-OC-833-B.

Interview OC-833-5
The fifth interview with SCP-OC-833-B. Previous interviews had shown subject to be compliant and cooperative with staff.
Dr. Sever: Good afternoon, Dr. Swarm.
SCP-OC-883-B: …Hello, Sir.
Dr. Sever: Do you happen to know the circumstances between you and SCP-OC-833-A?
SCP-OC-833-B: Are you perhaps referring to me?
Dr. Sever: ..pardon?
SCP-OC-833-B: You seem to believe that -A is separate from us. I suppose you would be half-correct in your assertion.
SCP-OC-833-B: We are different, yet the same. I am the host, but we are also the creation.
Dr. Sever: Apologies, Dr. Swarm, but I’m afraid I don’t understand.
[SCP-OC-833-B shakes their head, appearing somewhat frustrated at Dr. Sever, likely due to the lack of comprehension he has shown.]
SCP-OC-833-B: No. No, you will not. You are unlikely to ever understand us. To understand me. For that, I cannot apologize. Our own nature is not for you to know.
[By this point, SCP-OC-833-B jumps up from the table, lunging towards Dr. Sever, and grabbing his arm. The man screams out in pain, before security manages to pry SCP-OC-833-B off from the doctor. SCP-OC-833-B’s form appears somewhat shaky, with several -A instances buzzing and flying off from the main host.]
——————————————————————————
As of Interview OC-833-5, interviews have been put to a temporary halt until research on what had occurred is finished.
The medical team has noted that Dr. Sever is physically fine, but his arm has experienced severe swelling not unlike that of multiple bee, wasp, or hornet stings. It appears that even in -B’s form, -A is still capable of stinging and causing harm.
Uhhh their name is EXP-33 I guess bc normal names are overrated /silly
Were experimented on and have been ‘enhanced’ with the use of cybernetics. Their antenna and tail can be used like a taser, but with enough force to kill a guy yayyyy
i do not "queue". i do not use "peak posting times". i do not "stagger" my art. i post it and then bury it myself. and if it doesnt get notes? i rb it again
