yes im thinking about jacob and bella living in a little house with a big open kitchen and window seat and the coziest living room on earth, moving their mugs and pots from open boxes to the cupboards, filling the previously empty space with the potential for their new life. jacob tends to a garden out front, repairs the steps leading up to the porch and adds new locks to the windows. bella paints over old, chipped coats of paint inside, fixes the loose knobs, dusts away the loneliness and replaces it with photos of them, their families, their friends. little wooden figurines jacob has carved her. bella meets him outside with lunch and lemonade and they sit in the soft grass of their backyard, side by side even though they're sweaty from working all day. later, the two of them will make their bed together for the first time, throwing pillows in each other's faces and laughing until they couldn't breathe, glowing with the exhilaration and happiness of sharing a life with your best friend in the world. but for now, bella offers him a hair tye and another cupcake, and in return he makes her so, so happy
Jason and Lauren Caldwell are courting.
This is my bet, I'm sticking with it.
Thoughts on Baby Forsyth #2.
On so for 1 theres nothing on wiki so someone must have been joking or took it down.
2. Joy has a c section so she is still going to have a little bit of a tummy even if she is on a diet.
3. When you have bigger boobs, your dress makes it stand out more at the tummy.
4. Who believes anything they read on Wiki? Anyone can edit that. Even I can edit that and say I’m married to Jason.
5. We’ll know if it’s true in time when. They announce. Until then nada.
Still so glad that Joe and Kendra have Instagram now!
That last picture is perfect !!
He is adorable!!
Calling it Now: Joe + Kendra Will Be The Next To Announce
I think there’s something to the theory that they’ve joined Instagram because a pregnancy announcement is near… So, I’m putting this on the record! If I had to guess, I think they’ll announce in ~1 Month.
Currently, the Predictor thinks they’ll announce Pregnancy #2 on July 17, 2019, but they were initially predicted to announce on February 1, 2019. So, it’s very possible that they will announce soon.
To the surprise of absolutely no one, Keyboard Warrior Kate had a lot to say about Lawson watching The Office

the pacific northwest is THE place to be. the forests with no end. small towns so quiet at night that you can hear the distant rivers. mountains everywhere you look. the constant calming smell of rain and damp earth. there’s something so inherently beautiful and good about it.
jacob black who takes care of his disabled father, gets no help from literally any-fucking-body, took care of his–let’s be real–suicidal best friend after the guy he warned her would do some fucked up shit to her did (you guessed it) some fucked up shit to her, carried her home after he had to fish her ass out of the fucking ocean and give her cpr, carved her a little wolf pendant, gave her a dreamcatcher to keep the nightmares at bay, was her only confidant and friend during the worst period of her life, was the one who fixed up the truck she was gifted when she got to forks, let her use him as a radiator so she wouldn’t die of hypothermia in the snow, let edward’s family call him anything and everything they wanted to both to his face and behind his back, was dealing with sam’s constant antagonizing and fighting his own fucking birth right, fought so hard to keep his best friend alive and breathing, fought so hard to keep his tribe and the other werewolves safe in a war he didn’t start and didn’t fucking want to be a part of in the first place, but fought in because he loved his best friend
and y’all wanna talk shit and forget all that
I feel like canonically while Edward was wrestling w whether or not he should hunt down the guys that were gonna assault bella, rosalie actually hunted them down and killed them.
due to personal reasons i will be watching twilight again
Jessa defending Joy about “missing” Gideon’s first birthday. Thanks to @babygirlreid for sending this in!
Jessa is so sensible I live for her
Joe and Kendra’s first picture with their caption. I hope they post often, because we haven’t seen much of them on Counting On lately, and they’re some of my favs.
Where it all started and where they are now
Okay friends, especially queer friends, I want your input.
I’m sure we’re all aware of Kate (from Defrauded podcast) going after the brand Careof the other day for partnering with Alyssa Webster. On yesterday’s episode of the podcast she essentially acknowledged the pushback but stood by her actions, saying that Alyssa is obviously homophobic due to her associations and therefore deserves this. (Even though the argument was never that Alyssa isn’t homophobic, it was that she isn’t vocal about it.)
Today she’s at it again, going after Fabletics for sponsoring Anna as well as this tuxedo company that apparently airs commercials on Counting On. I’m going to guess that TLC, like many channels, lets you buy ad space during a block of time rather than during a specific show, but that’s beside the point.
Am I alone in feeling like this is essentially just an overly-invested ally pursuing the ego boost that comes from “defending” the LGBT community as an “ally” without taking into account if her actions actually help or seeking out the opinions of any actual queer people? As a lesbian, OBVIOUSLY I don’t consider my life and rights “politics”. And when major corporations actively contribute to taking away my rights (whether it’s by promoting homophobia or by financially contributing to causes that are trying to take away my rights) I am absolutely in support of calling for boycotting them.
This does not feel at all like the same thing. Calling out major corporations is fine and acceptable. Calling out smaller businesses that partner with individuals is directly attacking their livelihood. I don’t care if someone doesn’t agree that I deserve rights, they still deserve to be able to earn an income. And even if you don’t believe the Duggar and Bates women need the money (and right now most if them probably don’t), they might one day down the road, plus earning their own income proves to them (and their daughters) that women can be mothers and earn money at the same time.
More importantly though, going on instagram and bragging about how you’re defending gay rights in this way just proves to Alyssa and thousands of her followers that the gays are going to attack them for standing up for what they believe God teaches. It fuels the persecution complex. It makes them less likely to consider that maybe we aren’t all this collective Big Bad, maybe we’re all individuals who have our own individual lives that are, in many ways, just like theirs.
Obviously if I were directly interacting with Alyssa and she said something homophobic I would call her out on it. I’m not dealing with that shit in person. But when it’s behind the safety of an internet screen like this, I feel like all Kate is doing is reinforcing that the LGBT community is militantly pushing some “agenda”. What do the rest of y’all feel?
This is beautifully written. I do believe Kate has a huge amount of a hero complex in being an LGBT ally, but it could actually be harmful to be so aggressive towards people like Alyssa - like you said it feuls their persecution complex.
I’d also like to add onto that third screenshot about the tuxedo company advertising during Counting On commercials - I don’t believe a company is homophobic just because they’re airing during a show with homophobic people. They have to make a living and why not advertise during one of TLCs most popular shows. Honestly, I think it’s a good thing because then the audience who is watching Counting On who is interested in the suits can go to the Instagram, see the LGBT content, and can ideally have their minds opened a little.
Overall, I think gayness needs to be normalized and I think the method Kate is taking is quite toxic to the LGBT community and doesn’t help. As you said, she will only be reinforcing the notion that the LGBT community is trying to push some “agenda”.
I think @granddaddycaldwell said it best; Kate has a hero complex and has really taken this too far. She’s not helping make us snarkers look good either. Her calling out TLC for airing the tuxedo ads is straight up stupid.
