In their pursuit of being different, they often go against the prevailing narrative and sometimes even challenge widely accepted facts, primarily to assert a distinct identity. In this process, national interest can gradually drift away from their personal belief system. Over time, this mindset often aligns with left-leaning ideologies.

On the other hand, there are individuals who feel deeply insecure about their own identities. They frequently experience a sense of vulnerability and carry a persistent fear of being oppressed. This insecurity often stems from a lack of confidence and limited interpersonal or social assurance. Such tendencies commonly draw them toward right-wing ideologies.

This is my interpretation of how contrasting psychological motivations can shape political alignment.

I hate that every social media platform has switched to a video centric format. I fucking hate it. Every app is so loud now. Instagram used to be quite. You could put on music and scroll to see what people are up too. Nope. Now everything has music on it or gets turned into a reel. This is why I fuck with tumblr. It's the quiet website. Just you and and the voices.
