on the one hand i think the introduction of new girls in yellowjackets this episode was weirdly clunky and feels kind of silly this far in to expect us to suspension-of-disbelief all these new characters into always having been there, and i think easing them into the story more gradually probably would've felt more natural.

on the other hand. if we choose to not suspension-of-disbelief it. make it feel as unnatural as possible. the forest conjured new girls into being & made the others think they'd always been there so that when cannibalism time really kicks off there would be more meat. the forest doesn't want them to leave and doesn't want all of them to die (yet) so it's given them more food as a gift. in the form of a theater kid.

I started watching criminal minds after a long period of time of only watching baby shows for babies (with some horror shit thrown in) and I completely forgot that shows are allowed to just terrorize their characters. This spencer bitch is getting fucking obliterated.
