I was shocked that my favorite red and green kids (no, not those ones) didn’t have a big following in @starrycove​‘s Miraculous Moves AU bc like…have you MET them?

Kim’s main focus is acrobatic street dancing.  He’s a huge showoff (hence all the skin) and everyone expected him to be too proud to dance with anybody–until they meet Max, Kim’s pop-lock dancing boyfriend.  Kim wears his emotions on his sleeve (or he would, if he had sleeves) while Max seems relatively withdrawn–until he’s dancing, of course, and his enthusiasm electrifies the whole room.  

Outfit Note: there are black wing patches on the back of Kim’s hoodie, and Max’s green patterns glow in the dark.  Also, Max must be wearing some kinda platform wedges, because he is not really this tol ;-; make of them what you will, my guy

tech week survival tips for all my baby theatre kids!!!

BRING. A. WATER. BOTTLE. pls stay hydrated

even if you’re off book, bring your script! it’s always good to make notes and write down blocking/choreography

if you’re wearing stage makeup- practice your makeup in advance, and watch youtube tutorials on how to do it or ask someone to do it for you

get a watch. please

do not fight the director i promise you it isn’t worth it

participate in warm ups, etc.!!!

eat a small-ish meal before the rehearsal so you don’t fill up and feel sick, and get a larger snack afterwards

practice your lines/blocking/choreo outside of rehearsal!!! this will make yours and everyone else’s lives so much easier

finalize your character choices

do your homework as soon as possible. doing homework at 10:30 at night isn’t fun let me tell you

find the right shoes as soon as possible and wear them in rehearsal so it’s easier for you to wear them when the show comes around

don’t pick at your mic tape damnit

don’t stress your voice!! super important if you’re a lead

ask questions if you don’t know something!!! don’t be afraid!!!

i know tech week can be a nightmare, but with the right kind of support and preparation it can be awesome! don’t be afraid!!
