Before entering into a new place for a new experience (not something good), I had seen this flower and what I thought at that moment, I had to come back to this flower to take a picture, I had to come back here. This flower somehow gave me the 'sun' strength that I had needed in that moment.
"The wish, the hope, the urge to come back again"
Though I had to wait like 2 weeks to come back to the flower. It had waited for me, it didn't get dry, it was radiating, it was wishing me my healing. It was there for me because I wished to come back and take a picture. It had listened to my wish.
'SUNFLOWER' for me is my healing, my hope for coming back, my wish to fight back, my sun which doesn't burn.
I know I know I'm doing too much with all these rain and rainy poems but trust me it has come to an end with 'THE LULLABY RAIN'. I put my rainy poems to sleep (for now in a whisper tone🫢🤫😉).
There are a total of 8 poems I've written highlighting rain and my feelings for rain. I've decided to call it a #rain series and I've named it-
"Chrystal cry for rain"
The poems followed by :-
1. THE RAIN OF RELIEF (JUNE 2)
2. I CAN'T BE BORED OF RAIN (JUNE 18)
3. THE NIGHT RAIN (JUNE 24)
4. THE DISAPPOINTING RAIN (JULY 2)
5. THE PROLONGED RAIN (JULY 15)
6. THE OBSESSIVE RAIN (JULY 21)
7. THE AFFECTIONATE RAIN (JULY 22)
8. THE LULLABY RAIN (JULY 25)
Yeah, so I've added the links here and you can also find them under the #rain series or #chrystal cry for rain in my blog.
I'll be obliged if you guys check them and give me feedback, suggestions, constructive criticism for my improvement.🤗😊
Actually there are more emotions attached to rain but I fear poems can be repetitive so I've decided it's better to stop here until I learn more about poetry and how to manage repetitiveness.
Nobody asked but I want to tell you about this connection between rain and me.
I'm a monsoon baby so, a connection was already made during my birth. But when I got to learn and understand the surroundings, I started to hate rain. All those power cuts, mud, wetness yikes! I didn't like them at all. Moreover the hatred sky rocketed when people couldn't come to my small birthday party, my parents arranged at home, just due to rain.
But with growing age preferences change. Now I don't like gathering at all. So the hatred decreases slowly.
And somehow literature makes me like rain, it teaches me how to romanticize rain.
The petrichor, the wet wind, the raindrops, the coolness, the greenery- feels so soothing, calms my mind, my soul.
Then, I start to observe rain more closely with my heart. I find all my emotions in every raindrop. I start to resonate with the rain.
When I cry I feel like clouds also cry and rain is not only rain, it represents my tear drops.
When I'm happy rain feels like crazy in happiness, winds blow from here, there.
When I feel lovesick, rain feels like a tight hug, raindrops feel like kisses on my cheeks, forehead, eyes, lips.
When I feel the gloominess, rain also feels like just raining.
When I show my obsession, rain shows me the variation in rainfall.
Not only rain, nature also reflects my emotions. Day by day my liking turns into love and I become obsessed with rain.
No poem, no picture can actually capture the true emotions I feel when it's raining.
Whenever I can't sleep I just put on my earbuds and play a video with only rain sounds and thunder, it really works like a lullaby to me.
All these emotions and feelings have gradually developed and stay with me.
And thanks to my monsoon playlist. In my life I can't get over the songs 'Ek ladki bheegi bhaagi si' and 'Pyaar hua ikraar hua'.
Monsoon and these songs and me in my dreamland- tell me can any other thing in this world give me these feelings? Except rain?!- obviously a big no.
That's why I'm crazy about rain.. hmmm ...now that I've written everything I don't think it's super crazy or something like that, even now I'm feeling it's quite normal actually.
So, in short I'm just a Rain lover girl.
(With all the boredom, I've made the ending more boring, great!)
Anyways, Thank you for reading if anybody has reached here, how can you do that! I don't think, I, myself will ever read this for a second time.
So finally yesterday the education minister resigned. That actually shows the unity of the youth. Don't know about what will happen in the future, will it be good or bad? but a whole generation has come together, fought for their rights- that's commendable.
Firstly, the hunger strike, forget about all the conspiracy theories here and there but nobody can deny that Sonam wangchuk sir's hunger strike has awakened the youth.
Secondly, the protestors, the students who have faced assault during the parliament march. We can't forget about them at all. The courage they have shown is beyond any words.
Thirdly, the social media. People have shown the power of the web if used for the right.
Can be ignored but still one clap for the negative meme makers and the paid, hate commenters. Great job in doing the negative PR. At least people got curious what was all that about then they had thought with their brain and supported the protest.
Ultimately I've witnessed a whole generation get united and fought for their rights. Things not over yet hope the unition remains and we can get a better country, an actual democratic country🤞.
Will post some random things aside from poetry, maybe the random pictures I've clicked sometime and they are living in my phone's gallery without paying me the rent. So, I'm gonna make them work 😅. Maybe I'll post a couple of quotes or 2-4 lines I'll make up. Some reblogs and maybe some more childish things than my poetry to keep my inner child forever young.🤓
My lovely🤩 and cool 😎 people here are most welcome to visit🤗. I'm already grateful to you guys for all the love and support I got from here 🥰💜🩵.
Hope to keep you guys always happy through my posts😃🤞
উলুখাগড়া(Ulukhagra)- is a type of grass which has no value, it gets crushed whenever someone or something steps on it.
We common people are like this. We select some people (no they are not people they are demons), give them so much power just to be crushed down.
Political parties will fight among themselves just to get the power, nothing else. How will we benefit? People from losing parties go to the winning party and the corruption goes on.
We insignificant people are here just to witness our downfall, fall of a judiciary system, fall of the educational system, fall of the healthcare system, moreover, the fall of a democratic country.
Some are questioning the protest, some taking this side, some taking others but what about the future?
Students don't fear the exam, they are brave enough to take a drop or partial drop to fulfill their dream. They fear the failed and corrupted education system that even after putting everything at stake the exam can be cancelled or paper leak will affect the rank where the seat is already low. The thing is, it is not only limited to NEET-UG only. There are also other competitive exams which face irregularities in various ways, be it NEET-PG, CUET, NET etc etc.
Question is WHY?
Why is the government not able to conduct a national level exam peacefully, fairly?!
Why do students have to worry about the fair conduct of the exam along with their preparation? As if, the stress of the preparatory phase is not enough!
No big MP, MLA or minister or celebrities and their children have to face these corrupted education or health systems. It's us, the common people who have the power to choose the government still powerless.
The clips on the internet of the day of march are already so heartbreaking, disturbing and here the CJI says he doesn't have time to watch video proofs as if the matter is not serious enough to look after.
Not to mention police- they will protect us?! What a joke! They were straight up assaulting unarmed students while they were wearing "The uniform" - no respect for that also.
When vandalism occurs, rape occurs surprisingly they are not active like that- what a shame!
Still the power holders say they will look after, steps will be taken soon etc. Even God doesn't know how long it will take.
You can support any political party you want but don't be a blind follower, observe the situation, think. There will be no backup for us. (I don't support any political party. If any party will do work, think for the common people they will be praised otherwise there will be criticism definitely)
