I feel like some people keep forgetting that Gray himself wanted to become a better person before confessing his feelings to Juvia. Like Gruvia’s relationship already felt mutual since the main series but it was nice to Hiro Mashima to have Gray verbally make this love declaration to get the haters to shut up about how much Gruvia “only benefits Juvia”
