Whumper infantilizing them because they're the youngest of their captives

Younger struggling to fake a hopeful, optimistic façade for the older's morale

Others putting them down in comparison to their older/wiser/more experienced sibling

Younger suffering hurt/illness in silence because they know Older has enough to worry about

Older Sibling's always taking the hit for them so Younger jumps in this time to return the favor

Older Sibling not knowing they're Younger's only emergency contact until they get a terrible call

Younger Sibling feeling ashamed of their tears/pain because they can't stuff it down like Older does

Older Sib's friend(s) bullying them in secret but Younger doesn't know if Older would believe them

Younger is expected to lead when Older can't and stresses/breaks down under the immense pressure

Younger Sibling tries to do something they've seen Older do but they get it wrong and end up hurting themself

Actually I take it back. My hot take is that Ludger would want Julius to eat him (bc his whole entire thing is making sure Julius eats well) and Julius would want to eat him (bc it would keep Ludger safe inside him) but I cannot commit to actual cannibalism so this will be subtext at best 😂

It's all about the twisted YEARNING! They have these feelings but they can't act on them but they're terrified of the kind of person they are for having these thoughts but when you peel all the layers to see what is at the root of it all, and it's just love. Repressed love mixed with anxieties, uncertainties, and manifesting in a bizarre way to cope with it all.

Exploring those cannibalistic thoughts without actual cannibalism, with Ludger and Julius, it ends up being character studies in the end xD
