Vice President Kamala Harris urged congress to pass the George Floyd Justice and Policing Act at Tyre Nichols funeral, but Amanda Seales deliberately made an effort not to mention any of the Vice President's focus on combating racism and policing in America. None. It's 2023 and Ms. Seales is still playing crabs in a barrel. All for money. Sad.
Frankly, Vice President Kamala Harris's commitment and advocacy towards combating systemic racism in the United States, has always been the focal point of her vice presidency. For Amanda Seales to ignore that and then PROUDLY state that white supremacists are NOT domestic terrorists shows that she is acting in bad faith. How do I know this? I have the receipts provided by Reecie Colbert. (Part 1)

That young lady is an incredible actress. She has raw talent. I grew attached to her in under 30 minutes, and when she (Sarah) died in her father's arms, I choked up and cried. God, I wanted her to live despite knowing the outcome beforehand...I wanted her to live.
I've read more than my fair share of Louis and Lestat fanfiction and I've yet to come across one that explored the thoughts that were running through Louis's head while he was being beaten by Lestat; and I am not referring to works that were written in an attempt to apologize for Lestat's actions. There's nothing out there that delves into what Louis was feeling while it was happening.
Lestat was Louis's maker, mentor, and lover. He was the first man that told Louis he was beautiful, that he was loved and desired by another, and not just by any other man but by one whom he'd fallen in love with. Lestat had convinced Louis that he was the center of his universe, that no other could or would ever take his place.
How would you imagine Louis felt when Lestat struck that first blow? Was he shocked? Stunned? Betrayed? Initially unable to process what was happening, and only able/willing to fight back when it came to protecting Claudia?
Louia's pov from that angle is just curiously absent in a lot of metas and other works, and I wonder why.

"To be honest, we're in 2023 and nobody wants to see the story of a gloomy plantation owner," Jones explains. His protagonist looks to escape a tedious existence and accepts the seductive offer from a man whom he met in the night clubs of New Orleans and to whom he feels hopelessly attracted. The fact is that Louis being black incorporates another divergence from the original story. "In fact, that decision was due to purely practical motives. AMC wants to do 10 seasons, and its epicenter is this couple that, at the moment, feels wildly attracted to each other but isn't made for a long-term relationship. So what we do is we introduce all the conflict and internal tension we can to have enough to play with. Lestat doesn't understand that to turn someone into a vampire in the early XX century, especially a black man, is going to change everything. But for us, that added dramatic possibilities. Besides, it's Louisiana, and there are many black people there."

and what this is telling me is that they want to do 10 seasons of the Louis & Lestat show.
If their relationship is truly what is at the epicenter of their plans, I hope Jacob Anderson gets a 10-season show where he is the star, and Sam Reid gets to use all his acting chops!!!
Bring all 10 seasons. Let's do it, baby. I'm ready.
