Kim Shin, a general from the Goryeo dynasty, was cursed to be an immortal goblin. The only person who can end his cursed existence is the destined Goblin Bride, Lee Rang, by pulling out the sword embedded in his chest.

Yeon was punished by being made a Grim Reaper with no memories of his past life. As a Grim Reaper, he used the name Wang Yeo.
