Some of our chairs at the lovely Hambledon Village Shop, Post Office and Cafe, GU8 4HF. Pop in for a pasty if you are in Surrey!
The Ark Church, Forest Gate in London's East End, what we would call a 'Messy Job'.
End of an era. We officially move out of our warehouse today and thus ends nearly 25 years of my life. What a damp, dusty old place it was. But. It paid for home, family and stuff. Meanwhile, our neat and tidy little warehouse in Betchworth is the future.

#putti # paschal #churchcandlestick Weary looking infant supporting base of our latest big Church Stick.

In the Midst of Life
My daughter Inez took this picture - she was following our dog who was going crazy at this juxtoposition of wildness and death. The fox seemed as if it had simply come into this quiet place to die. Maybe of old age? If so, and not because of long drawn out poisoning or a ghastly wound, I couldn’t think of a better way to go.
St Botolphs Beeding East Sussex AD 945
Found this box clearing out a store room. In it was a collection of family photographs, scarves, shoes, buckles and other personal items that obviously once had some meaning. This has long gone as are all the people in these pictures. All those hopes and dreams, those cherished moments; preserved all these years for only a stranger to gaze upon them. The Days are Long But the Years are Short. If you have good things that you are meaning to do, do them now.
Passion Play Our town does this every year now and one feels that if Christ was being crucified now it would indeed be like this. Hordes of kids, mobile phone snappers, chaps in hi-viz vests, efficient young women with walkie talkies and angry motorists sounding their horns because of the delay... 'Oi! Simon of Cyrene, do you have to help him in the middle of the bleeding road !'
