It was one of the last warm Saturdays of the season and while Charlotte’s friends were all outside, appreciating the weather, the seventh year sat alone in the library, hunched over a stack of second year Transfiguration quizzes that needed to graded by Monday. She had been assisting Professor Bainbridge in classes at the beginning of her fourth year and last year, Charlotte began teaching a portion of the first and second year Transfiguration classes under the professor’s supervision. It wasn’t that she minded grading papers, Charlotte actually loved teaching and planned on returning to Hogwarts once her inevitable professional Quidditch career ended. But on a day as beautiful as it was, she would much rather have been lounging about by the lake or racing one of her friends on the Quidditch pitch. Charlotte looked out the window she sat next to and took a deep breath of fresh air before turning back to the quiz she had been grading. "Merlin," she spoke to herself, "there is no way that my spelling was this terrible when I was a second year."

“I suppose I should say not trying as hard as I could have in Potions and Herbology and only really focusing on Transfiguration in my first few years at Hogwarts. I'm sure one day I'll need to know how to make a Pepperup Potion or prune a Mandrake or whatever and I'll regret not listening in class.”

"I've seen enough horror films to know that having a clone never ends well for anyone, so I'd probably just lock her up for the hour to make sure she doesn't try to kill me and steal my life. Or play a joke on my mates. It can go either way."

"Obviously becoming an animagus. At fourteen. In my third year. You know, the youngest registered animagus in known history."

Imperius - Ever been forced to do something you didn't want to?

"Astronomy class. Now don't get me wrong, I think the stars are beautiful and romantic and I like looking at them as much as the next person. But, there was something so utterly horrid about making star charts and having to stay up until four in the morning for a class when you had an early morning Quidditch practice the next day. I was always very clear about my feelings on the class, I landed myself in detention one or two times because of it. "

"Well, it's called a secret for a reason. But... I may have - ahem - ‘helped’ a friend during our Transfiguration OWL exam."

Confringo - How good is my character at dueling?

"When I was younger, I didn't have much interest in it until one of my mates dragged me to Dueling club. I've always been a wee bit competitive so it didn't take long for me to fall in love with it. Besides Transfiguration, obviously, combative magic has always been the most fun for me. I'm a very offensive dueler and my curse work is pretty good, I'd like to think."
