every time i see a chi-chi get an ask like “hey u want a third child” i’m tempted to have chizu pop in like “yo wassup”

      { チーズ } The only word Chizu understood out of that sentence was ‘dress’, but she liked dresses, so she started nodding even faster. Clearly, the idea had excited her quite a bit, as evident by her squirming in her sister’s grasp in excitement.

On top of that, she also began to hug her sister’s arm to show her gratitude. Seems that Chizu was very easy to please.

     Excellent ! A bright smile tugs at her lips. Oh, this was absolutely wonderful, it was finally her turn to make a dress, just like her mother had done for her. It was quite pride invoking. What would other people say when they saw the dress ? How happy would it make Chizu ? How proud would her mother be ? All exciting questions, giving her the motivation to make this dress. 

 “ Alright Chizu, you’re going to have to sit here for a little while, okay ? ” She brought the little girl into her room, placing her atop of the bed. “ – I know I have patterns around here somewhere.. Oh ! I could always dig through my clothes from when I was your age too– ”

     { チーズ } As Chizu was sat down on her sister’s bed, the curious infant began to look around the room. She had been in here several times before, but to a baby’s eyes, every single item in this room was something new and exciting to play with.

Even though she had been told to sit on the bed, Chizu couldn’t resist playing with the stuff around her. With a bit of difficulty, Chizu hopped off of Chiyori’s bed, falling on her butt with a small thud. However, that didn’t seem to impede her at all, as the little girl immediately ran over to Chiyori’s closet, beginning to dig through it and pull clothes she thought were pretty off of their hangers.

     { チーズ } Gasp! It’s Daddy! Chizu hasn’t seen Daddy in a long, long time!!! (actually only a couple hours since Goku only left to do some training)

The infant runs up to her father as fast as her tiny legs will carry her, and immediately latches onto the man’s leg once she reaches him. Hugs!

    “Oh-! Jeez if I had known a few hours would get you this riled up-” He smiles, taking hold under her arms and quickly bringing her up to his chest. “You didn’t bug mom too much, did ya?”

           { チーズ } Of course, being an infant, Chizu doesn’t really understand the question. However, she knew that her daddy had asked her something, so she just nodded her head in response. Hopefully that was good enough. Alongside that, once she was picked up, she moved from hugging his leg to just hugging him in general, giggling happily the whole time.

       { チーズ } Obviously, Chizu couldn’t affirm Chiyori’s claims that she was the favorite. Nor could she even understand what the other girl was saying. All she knew was that she was in her big sister’s arms, and she was happy. So she nodded along to whatever the older girl was saying, smiling and laughing the whole time.

      Sweet, easy victory, something she’d hold over their brother’s heads for years to come. Clearly, this was enough confirmation Chiyori needed to be satisfied. “ I think a cute little girl like you deserves a nice dress, don’t you think ? I bet mom sews you dressed all the time. Hmm. Well, how about one made by me, would you like that ? ” If it was for her sister, Chiyori figured it would give her the motivation to try again – besides, if their mother could do it then, obviously, she should be able to as well.

Her grin grew wide, and she giggled in that way only baby girls can as she held her hands out towards Chiyori, signalling that she wanted her big sister to pick her up.

      She doesn’t waste any time in crouching down and holding her arms out to gently scoop up the smaller girl. With a WOOSHING sound, and a soft laugh escaping her lips, she settles Chizu into a comfortable hold. “ Yes, I am the best older sibling, aren’t I ? That’s why I’m your favorite, right ? Right ! ”

       Cute. Unbelievably adorable ! How funny jealously evaporates when in the presence of her little sister – even she had fallen victim. “ Aaww, did you miss me ? I bet you did, being around smelly boys just isn’t the same, is it ? ” A victorious grin. It seems even Chiyori has little concept of time, as she is just happy to soak in the attention. Best big sister ever ? Undoubtedly.

   { チーズ } It’s not candy, she can tell that much, but the bag of treats the man gave her looks pretty sweet… After fumbling with the bag for a bit, Chizu finally manages to get it open, so she takes one of the donuts and pops it into her mouth.

And luckily for Whis, it seemed as if it was just what she was looking for, as evident by a smile growing on her face. She then proceeded to start eating the donuts as fast as her tiny mouth would let her.

He smiles back at her, but it quickly falters the instant he realizes she’s scarfing down donuts (his donuts) as fast as she can.

“H-Hold on now,” he starts, reaching for the bag, “I don’t think your mother will be too happy with me if you choke on those! …not to mention the fact that if you eat too many of them, it’ll ruin your appetite!”

   { チーズ } Chizu’s expression grows intense as she sees the man reach for the donuts! Nuh-uh, these are her donuts now! You gave them to her, you aren’t getting them back! She quickly turns away from the man, holding the bag close to her chest so that he wouldn’t be able to take them from her.

   { チーズ } Clearly, the girl was rather upset by the fact that the shiny thing that the man offered her was not candy. She even tried biting it again in a different place to see if it would taste any better in another spot.

When that failed, she looked up at the man expectantly, as if she expected him to magically have actual candy for her.

“Ah, expecting something tasty from me to make up for it, now, aren’t you?” He can’t say he’s at all practiced in dealing with children this young, mortal or otherwise, but Whis supposes there’s no harm in indulging her.

So he takes his staff (now that she is no longer trying to eat it) and produces a small bag of mini donuts. “Do these appease you?”
