What I like most about my learning
What I like most about my learning is how I am able to improve through practice and feedback. I enjoy seeing my skills grow over time, especially in writing, because each assignment helps me understand how to communicate more clearly and effectively. I also like that I am able to apply what I learn to real projects, such as my work in class. Learning in this way helps me build confidence and stay engaged because I can see real progress in my work.
what are you most proud of with your writing process?
What I am most proud of in my writing process is my drafting process. I have learned to focus on organizing my ideas first instead of trying to make the first draft perfect. Creating multiple drafts helps me improve my clarity, organization, and overall communication. Drafting helped me strengthen projects like my data analysis project and parent newsletter by allowing me to revise based on feedback and audience needs. This process has made me a more flexible and effective writer.

what do you like the most about your essay?
One aspect I really like about my essay was that I was able to take the concepts we learned in this class and connected them to my other courses this semester. I liked how I tied many things from this class to my other classes helping me see how beneficial this class is.

how will having a good revision process help you moving forward beyond this class?
Having a strong revision process will help me beyond this class because it makes my writing clearer and more focused. In my essay on content strategy and discourse communities, I learned that my ideas about the “who, what, and why” of posting need to stay connected throughout my paper. When I revise, I can go back and make sure each paragraph supports my main argument and clearly connects to my research question. It also helps me add explanation where my ideas might be too general or unclear. Overall, revision will help me improve how I organize and strengthen my arguments so my writing is more effective in future classes and other types of writing.

how are you developing style to build your argument in the content analysis?
I am developing my style by focusing on being clear, evidence-based, and analytical rather than just descriptive. Instead of simply explaining what my data shows, I work to connect each point back to my research question and hypothesis. I use specific examples from my graph and data to support my claims, which helps make my argument more convincing.

The current snack keeping me motivated throughout the end of this semester are chex mix and pretzels. I enjoy a salty snack with a sweet drink like the C4 hawaiian punch, I keeps me energized and full for all the assignemnts that need to be done.

what did you learn about your writing process that will help you after college?
Through this project, I learned that my writing process works best when I treat it as a step-by-step process rather than trying to get everything perfect at once. Starting with a rough draft helps me get my ideas down, and then revising allows me to improve clarity, organization, and depth. I also realized the importance of planning and structuring my work early, because it makes the final writing much stronger and easier to follow. This will help me after college because most professional writing—whether in a job, emails, or reports—requires clear communication and revision. Knowing how to organize my ideas, support them with evidence, and refine my writing will make me more effective and confident in any career setting.

Through drafting, I learned that strong writing takes revision and organization. Going into the last draft of this project I am focusing on answering all questions of my data. I think it is important to be as clear as possible for people to understand my research question and hypothesis. I am also taking a look at my project as a whole. Making sure it is a seamless transition from section to section.

how do these data elements answer your research question?
I chose to analyze the posting frequencies of all three tik tok profiles. I wanted to see if posting frequency matter, whether people who post more often get more likes rather than people who post less often. I collected the likes, shares, comments, views, and date posted of all videos to see whether the accounts post more often get more attentions rather than others who post less and get less or more attention. By recording the dates posted of the three different accounts (with different amounts of attention) I will be able to answer my research question of: How do TikTok accounts within the same digital reading community use posting frequency to generate measurable audience engagement (likes, comments, and shares)?

Engagement is measured quantitatively through likes, comments, shares, and total views, allowing for an analysis of the relationship between posting frequency and audience response. By systematically collecting and analyzing these metrics, the strategy not only tests the hypothesis but also provides insights into optimal content practices, helping accounts refine their approach to strengthen influence and foster a more active and connected reading community.

Currently I am working on my content stragey sections of the analysis. I am using the book and content strategy notes to unsure my work is appropriate. I have finished all the heading and subheadings however I did add wireframing to the sections I have not completed yet.

In my opinion content statgey is the who, what, and why you post content on a platform like social media. When thinking about our assignment I am collecting data of the structure and schedule the tik tokers are posting to generate measurable audience engagement within a shared digital reading community.
