If RT actually believed in SP7 they would’ve actually promoted them like any other RT show that’s running on the site nowadays, they wouldn’t have been this bottom list nobodies.
Like imagine as soon as season 2 was done and asked sp7 to make a trailer or promo video for season 3 and pushed that forward like “hey guys look at this new exciting thing!” because these guys actually brought something fresh in the mainstream.
Sure you can compare SP7 with stuff like Marble Hornets and other slenderverse stuff, but that stuff only appears to one type of audience that actually seeks out videos like this. SP7 took a concept similar to that and made it mainstream, made it entertaining and it was so good, and even now it still is just as good.
And I’m not just talking about Alternative Lifestyle being promoted, but their music too?? Like SP7 has been putting out legit fucking BOPS and there was only radio silence from Rooster Teeth. SP7 got such a good feedback on their music, I thought RT would bandwagon on the hype and at least give them a shout or something, but no.
I know I haven’t been active in the sp7 fandom lately, it’s for personal reasons, but still.
I have never believed in a group of people more than I believe in Sugar Pine 7.
