for those unaware, you can easily not worry about spoilers and content warnings (especially if you dont do tagging) by adding a read more/keep reading which lets people click to see the rest of the post. the icon for adding read more looks like three dots on the browser version in a rectangle (or if u use the new beta post editor, it looks like a squiggly line with a straight line above and below it)

if you use mobile that’s another story. what you can do on mobile is : readmore : on a new line but without the spaces between the word and the colons. heres some example screenshots

then you press return and it makes a read-more. any text underneath it will be cut off unless someone clicks on it

see how it doesn’t show up? tumblr doesn’t work like twitter and it may be difficult to adjust, but there’s some helpful features here that go overlooked. now that you have the tools, use them
