thoughts on new chapter, since it’s more relevant here than it is on my yukino blog

i absolutely hated it. i hate how this ship is glorified when it’s virtually just blatant sexual harassment on natsus end. when it isn’t sexual harassment (like it wasn’t technically in this chapter even though natsu did look up her skirt which is absolutely demeaning) it’s him basically not letting her do anything. gray is lucys friend too, and natsu is completely disregarding that. he left lucy alone for a year, which was shitty to do in the beginning and i’m glad she’s actually addressing that, but at this point he’s acting as if he’s the only one hurt by gray and what gray is doing when he isn’t. 

lucy saw the doll, what if she wanted to fight too? what if she wanted to do something? she didn’t even get a chance to try because of natsu pulling his OP bullshit like he always does. 

not to mention how fucking disrespectful it was to completely disregard her entire plan for what they were gonna do. i absolutely hate it, and i refuse to subject my lucy to the bullshit that mashima is putting her through. 

she’s being disregarded, she’s being pushed to the side, all at natsus hand. yet people are placing this ship on a pedestal and acting as if it’s the best thing in the world. i don’t care if you ship it, but fucking admit that there are things wrong with how it’s being portrayed rather than simply ignoring it and calling the bullshit that natsu is doing as “nalu moments” when it isn’t. 

it’s disgusting and it’s demeaning as hell to lucy.
