To many, liking K-Pop is an introduction not just to a genre or culture, but to a community of like-minded people. Though you may prefer different genres or follow different artists, you can meet friends from all over the world and share your passions. There are times when our differences divide us, but many more when we come together. Kindness is far easier than hatred. The simple act of asking “Are you okay?” and listening to the answer can sometimes make a huge difference in another person’s day. And the act of reaching out to a friend, or even a stranger, and telling them “I’m having a hard time right now” and being listened to and accepted can also have an unquantifiable affect.
