Nothing lasts forever, that’s true! We fall in love, we get married and then one day we discover that we don’t want to do it anymore, we dream of being free once again. The same happens with careers. How many people dreamed of working, having their stable job and daily routine, but not long after they made their dream come true they started feeling somehow…disappointed… Yes, in life nothing stays the same, not even our strongest convictions. Everything in our lives is transforming, whether we like it or not.

However we are bound to attach ourselves with things that can endure in time and this is what plays a crucial role in our lives. It’s in our nature. From the music of The Beatles to Apple’s products or even the everlasting symbol of beauty that Marilyn Monroe represents, whatever doesn’t fade away easily deserves our appreciation and admiration. In business as well, continuity is the key. The important thing is not only to turn a business profitable after a couple of years, as everyone would obviously wish. What matters, as the late Steve Jobs himself put it, is to give to the people a company that will lead us to the future.
