Another Idea Drabble- let me know what you think-
Saturday Afternoon â 2:30 PM â Bakugo and Sarah's Home
**Sarah's POV**
Sarah sat in the nursery's rocking chair, Katsuro latched and nursing peacefully, when she heard it.
"I DON'T CARE ABOUT THE BABY!" Kaori's voice carried from the living room.
Loud.
Defiant.
*Very* Bakugo.
Sarah bit back a smile.
"Kaori," Bakugo's voice came next. Firm but strained. "That's notâ"
"YOU LIKE HIM MORE THAN ME!"
"I don'tâ"
"YES YOU DO! You said you ALWAYS wanted a boy!"
Sarah snorted quietly.
*Oh, this is going to be good.*
She adjusted Katsuro slightly, his tiny hand resting against her breast as he nursed, his dark brown eyesâ*her* eyesâhalf-closed in contentment.
*At least one of our children is easy.*
"Kaori," Katsuki said. His voice was getting that edge. The one that made villains back down. "I never said"
"YOU DID! I HEARD YOU!"
"When?"
"WHEN MOMMY WAS PREGNANT!"
Sarah pressed her lips together to keep from laughing.
*She's got him there.*
Bakugo *had* been over the moon when they found out they were having a boy.
Had looked like he'd won the damn Super Bowl.
"That doesn't meanâŠ"
"YOU DON'T LOVE ME ANYMORE!"
"Kaori!"
"I HATE YOU!"
Silence.
Then
"You don't mean that."
Katsukiâs voice was quieter now.
Almost
*Hurt.*
Sarah's chest tightened.
*Oh, Katsuki.*
"I DO!" Kaori shouted. "I HATE YOU AND I HATE THE BABY!"
"Kaori Bakugo!"
"NO!"
The sound of small feet running.
A door slamming. Then. Silence.
Sarah waited. Counted to ten.
Then Katsuki appeared in the nursery doorway. He looked
*Wrecked.*
His hair was more disheveled than usual. His expression tight. Frustrated. And underneath it all
*Devastated.*
Sarah couldn't help it. She laughed.
"Shut the fuck up," Bakugo said immediately.
"I didn't say anything," Sarah said, still grinning.
"You're laughing."
"Because it's funny."
"It's not funny," Katsuki said. He crossed his arms. "She just told me she hates me."
"She's five," Sarah said. "She doesn't mean it."
"She sounded pretty fucking convinced."
Sarah's smile softened.
"She's jealous, Katsuki. You've been fawning over Katsuro since he was born."
"I have not"
"You literally cried when the doctor said it was a boy."
Katsukiâ jaw clenched.
"I didn't cry."
"You did," Sarah said. "Happy tears. It was very sweet."
"I don't do sweet."
"You do for your kids."
Bakugo scowled.
But he didn't argue.
Because they both knew it was true.
Sarah looked down at Katsuro.
At his ash blonde hair so much like his father's.
At the way he nursed so peacefully.
So content.
*So easy.*
"He takes pity on us," Sarah said.
Bakugo frowned.
"What?"
"Katsuro," Sarah said. "He's sweet because Kaori is a tyrant. He knows we need a break."
Bakugo snorted.
"She gets that shit from you."
"Excuse me?" Sarah looked up at him. "She gets it from *you*."
"Bullshit."
"She has your eyes, Katsuki. Your attitude. Your stubbornness."
"She has your hair."
"That's literally the *only* thing she got from me," Sarah said. "Everything else? Pure Bakugo."
Katsukiâs expression flickered.
Pride.
Frustration.
And something softer.
*Love.*
"She's a pain in my ass," he muttered.
"She's *your* pain in the ass," Sarah said. "You made her."
"We made her."
"Yeah, but she's *your* mini-me."
Katsuki moved into the room.
Sat on the edge of the bed near the rocking chair.
He looked at Katsuro.
At the way he was nursing.
At the way Sarah held him so naturally.
*So perfectly.*
"He's a good baby," Bakugo said quietly.
"He is," Sarah agreed. "Which is why I'm convinced he's taking pity on us."
Katsukiâs lips twitched.
"You think he knows?"
"I think he can sense that his sister is a handful," Sarah said. "And he's decided to be the easy one."
"Smart kid."
"He gets that from me."
Bakugo snorted.
"Sure."
They sat in comfortable silence for a moment.
Katsuro's soft suckling sounds filling the room.
The afternoon light filtering through the curtains.
*Peaceful.*
Then "You need to talk to her," Sarah said.
Katsuki sighed.
"I know."
"She's scared you don't love her anymore."
"That's ridiculous."
"She's five, Katsuki. Everything is big and scary when you're five."
Katsuki ran a hand through his hair.
"What do I even say?"
"The truth," Sarah said. "That you love her. That having Katsuro doesn't change that."
"She won't believe me."
"She will if you mean it."
Katsuki looked at her.
"I do mean it."
"Then tell *her*," Sarah said gently. "Not me."
Katsuki nodded slowly.
"Yeah," he said. "Okay."
He stood.
Hesitated.
Then leaned down and kissed Sarah's forehead.
"You're good at this," he said quietly.
Sarah smiled.
"At what?"
"Being a mom."
Sarah's chest warmed.
"You're good at being a dad."
"Even when she tells me she hates me?"
"*Especially* then," Sarah said. "Because you don't give up on her."
Katsukiâs expression softened.
"Never."
He kissed her again.
Then left the nursery.
Sarah listened as his footsteps moved down the hall.
Heard him knock softly on Kaori's door.
"Kaori? Can I come in?"
Silence.
Then
"NO!"
"Please, baby. I want to talk."
"I'M NOT YOUR BABY ANYMORE! KATSURO IS!"
Sarah winced.
*Ouch.*
"You'll always be my baby," Katsuki said. His voice was rough. Emotional. "You were my first. That doesn't change."
Silence.
Then
The sound of a door unlocking.
Sarah smiled.
*There we go.*
She couldn't hear the rest of the conversation.
But she didn't need to.
She knew Katsuki.
Knew he'd figure it out.
Knew he'd make it right.
Because that's what he did.
*He fought for the people he loved.*
*Always.*
---
**3:45 PM**
**Sarah's POV**
Sarah had just finished nursing Katsuro and was buttoning her shirt when Katsuki appeared in the bedroom doorway.
He looked
*Exhausted.*
But also
*Relieved.*
"She asleep?" Sarah asked.
Katsuki nodded.
"Finally."
"How'd it go?"
"She cried," Katsuki said. He moved into the room and sat on the bed. "A lot."
"Did you cry?"
"No."
"Liar."
Katsukiâs jaw clenched.
"Maybe a little."
Sarah smiled.
"What did you tell her?"
"That I love her," Katsuki said. "That she's my first baby. That nothing will ever change that."
"And?"
"And that Katsuro is lucky to have her as a big sister."
Sarah's expression softened.
"That's perfect."
"She asked if I really wanted a boy."
"What did you say?"
"I said yeah," Katsuki admitted. "But that I wanted *her* first. That she made me a dad. That she's the one who taught me how to do this."
Sarah's eyes filled with tears.
"Katsukiâ"
"Don't," Katsuki said quickly. "Don't cry. You'll set me off again."
Sarah laughed.
Wiped her eyes.
"You're such a softie."
"Shut up."
"It's true," Sarah said. "You let a five-year-old bully you."
"She's terrifying."
"She's *five*."
"She's got my temper and your attitude," Katsuki said. "That's a dangerous combination."
"I thought she got *your* attitude."
"She got both," Katsuki said. "We're fucked."
Sarah laughed.
Katsuki looked at Katsuro.
At the way he was sleeping peacefully in the bassinet beside the bed.
"He's so quiet," Katsuki said.
"I know," Sarah said. "It's suspicious."
"You think he's plotting something?"
"Definitely."
Katsuki smiled.
Then he looked at Sarah.
Really looked at her.
At the way her shirt was still slightly unbuttoned.
At the soft curve of her breasts.
At the way her hair fell around her shoulders.
*Fuck.*
*She's so beautiful.*
"You need to put those away," he said.
His voice was rough.
Sarah frowned.
"Put what away?"
Katsuki gestured vaguely at her chest.
"Those."
Sarah looked down.
Then back at him.
"Are you serious right now?"
"They're doing something for me."
Sarah's eyes widened.
Then she laughed.
"Oh my god, you're such a perv."
"I didn't hear you complaining when we made these little monsters," Katsuki said.
"If anything," Katsuki continued. "You were the one saying 'go harder.'"
Sarah's cheeks flushed.
"Stop talking, Katsuki."
"What's wrong?" Katsukiâs smile widened. "Can't take the truth?"
"Shut up," Sarah said.
But she was smiling.
Katsuki moved closer.
Sat beside her on the bed.
"You're the one who begged me for another baby," she said. "Remember?"
"Take that back," Katsuki said. "I did not."
"You did."
"I was fine with one."
"Uh huh," Sarah said. "Except when the doctor said Katsuro was a boy, you were looking at me like I'd just won the Super Bowl."
"Damn right I did," Katsuki said. "Got the wife. Got the kids. Got everything I ever wanted."
Sarah's expression softened.
"Yeah?"
"Yeah."
He leaned in and kissed her.
Soft.
Gentle.
But with an edge of heat underneath.
When he pulled back, Sarah was smiling.
"I love you," she said.
"Even when I'm a dick?"
"*Especially* when you're a dick," Sarah said. "It's part of your charm."
"Says the woman who married said dick."
Sarah laughed.
Then kissed him again.
Longer this time.
Deeper.
When they broke apart, both were breathing harder.
"Put the baby down," Sarah said.
Her voice was low.
Promising.
Katsukiâs eyes darkened.
"Yeah?"
"Yeah," Sarah said. "And I'll let you get lucky."
Katsuki grinned.
"You're gonna let me, huh?"
"Don't push it, Dynamite."
Katsuki stood.
Carefully lifted Katsuro from the bassinet.
The baby stirred slightly but didn't wake.
Katsuki carried him to the nursery.
Placed him gently in the crib.
Covered him with a soft blanket.
Stood there for a moment.
Just
*Looking.*
At his son.
His perfect, sweet, easy son.
*I'm so fucking lucky.*
He thought about Kaori.
Asleep in her room.
His fierce, stubborn, beautiful daughter.
*So fucking lucky.*
And Sarah.
Waiting for him in their bedroom.
His wife.
The love of his life.
The woman who'd driven him crazy for six years before he finally got his shit together.
*The luckiest man alive.*
Bakugo smiled.
Then he turned off the nursery light.
And went back to his wife.
---
**Sarah's POV**
Sarah heard Katsukiâs footsteps in the hall.
Heard the bedroom door close.
Lock.
She looked up as he crossed the room.
His eyes were dark.
Intense.
*Hungry.*
"Hi," she said.
"Hi," Katsuki said.
He sat on the bed beside her.
Reached out and finished unbuttoning her shirt.
Slowly.
Deliberately.
Sarah's breath caught.
"Katsukiâ"
"Shh," he said. "You said I could get lucky."
"I said *maybe*."
"You said I could."
Sarah smiled.
"I did, didn't I?"
"Yeah," Katsuki said. "You did."
He leaned in and kissed her neck.
Her collarbone.
The curve of her breast.
Sarah's eyes fluttered closed.
"We have to be quiet," she whispered.
"I know."
"The kidsâŠ"
"Are asleep," Katsuki said against her skin. "We've got time."
Sarah's hands moved to his hair.
Tangled in the blonde strands.
"I love you," she said.
Katsuki pulled back.
Looked at her.
Really looked at her.
"I love you too," he said.
And then. He showed her.
Slowly.
Thoroughly.
Quietly.
Until they were both breathless and tangled together in their bed.
*Home.*
*Family.*
*Everything.*
And as Sarah drifted off to sleep in Katsukiâs armsâ
She thought about how far they'd come.
Six years of denial.
Four years of games.
Two years of love.
And nowâ
*This.*
*A life.*
*A family.*
*Everything they'd ever wanted.*
*Everything they'd almost lost.*
Sarah pressed closer to Katsuki .
Felt his arms tighten around her.
*Yeah.*
*This is exactly where I'm supposed to be.*
Was doing some ideas to get them out of my head
***Bakugo getting asked to do a threesome. Heâs asking his squad for âadviceâ***
Bakugo: you guys are not going to fucking believe what just happened
He hit send and watched the three dots appear almost immediately. Of course they were all online. It was Friday night, and none of them had lives.
**Kaminari:** oh shit what happened
**Kaminari:** did you finally snap and murder a reporter
**Kaminari:** because i will help you hide the body
**Sero:** context please
**Kirishima:** Bro you ok?
Bakugo stared at his phone, trying to figure out how to even explain this situation. How did you tell your friends that you'd been invited to a threesome? How did you phrase that in a way that didn't sound completely insane?
*Fuck it. Just say it.*
**Bakugo:** todoroki invited me over for dinner
**Bakugo:** turns out it wasnt just dinner
**Bakugo:** he wants me to fuck his girlfriend
**Bakugo:** with him
**Bakugo:** like at the same time
He hit send and immediately regretted every life choice that had led him to this moment.
The response was instantaneous.
**Kaminari:** WHAT
**Sero:** BRO
**Kirishima:** WAIT WHAT
**Kaminari:** BAKUGO
**Kaminari:** BAKUGO ARE YOU SERIOUS
**Kaminari:** IS THIS A JOKE
**Kaminari:** BECAUSE IF THIS IS A JOKE ITS NOT FUNNY
**Sero:** hold on hold on
**Sero:** todoroki has a girlfriend???
**Sero:** since when
**Bakugo:** like a month apparently
**Bakugo:** american chick
**Bakugo:** hes fucking serious about this
**Kaminari:** BRO
**Kaminari:** BRO IF YOU DONT DO THIS WE CANT BE FRIENDS
**Kaminari:** IM SERIOUS
**Kaminari:** ILL BLOCK YOUR NUMBER
**Kaminari:** ILL MOVE TO ANOTHER COUNTRY
**Sero:** ill help him pack
**Kaminari:** sero will help me pack
**Kaminari:** we will both leave
**Kaminari:** you will be friendless
Bakugo snorted despite himself. Leave it to Kaminari to be absolutely zero help in a crisis.
**Sero:** what does she look like
**Sero:** this is critical information
Of course. Of fucking course that was Sero's first question.
**Bakugo:** are you fucking kidding me right now
**Sero:** WHAT
**Sero:** its a valid question
**Sero:** is she hot
**Sero:** does she have a good ass
**Sero:** tits???
**Sero:** we need DATA
**Kaminari:** yeah man we need details
**Kaminari:** for science
**Kaminari:** and research purposes
**Kaminari:** very important research
**Kirishima:** Guys maybe we should focus on the fact that this is a huge decision and Bakugo might need actual advice???
**Kaminari:** shut up kirishima
**Kaminari:** BAKUGO SEND PICS
**Kaminari:** WE NEED VISUAL CONFIRMATION
**Sero:** yeah bro pics or it didnt happen
**Sero:** this is standard protocol
**Sero:** we need evidence
Bakugo stared at his phone. These were supposed to be his friends. His trusted companions. The people he'd fought alongside, saved lives with, trusted with his actual life.
And they were absolutely fucking useless.
But also... they had a point.
*Fine. You want pics? I'll give you pics.*
He unlocked the bathroom door as quietly as possible and eased it open. The hallway was empty, and he could hear Sarah's voice from the kitchen, saying something about the rice being perfect. Music was still playingâsomething with a steady Latin beat that seemed to pulse through the apartment.
Bakugo crept down the hallway like he was on a goddamn stealth mission. Which was ridiculous. He was a pro hero. He'd infiltrated villain hideouts. He'd done undercover work. And here he was, sneaking around an apartment to take a picture of a woman for his idiot friends.
*This is my life now. This is what I've been reduced to. Sixteen-year-old me would be so fucking confused right now. "You're doing WHAT? For WHO? And you're SNEAKING AROUND like some kind of creep?"*
*Yeah, well, sixteen-year-old me was also a virgin who thought holding hands was basically marriage, so what the fuck did he know.*
He reached the edge of the hallway where it opened into the living area and kitchen. Sarah was at the stove, her back to him, stirring something in the pot. That fucking dress. That goddamn dress with the back that went down to practically nothing, showing off all that golden skin, the curve of her spine, the way her body moved as she worked.
Todoroki was at the table, pouring wine into glasses, his back also turned.
Bakugo pulled out his phone, angled it, and snapped a picture. The camera made the softest click, barely audible over the music, and he immediately ducked back into the hallway.
*One down.*
*Pro: I'm getting photographic evidence for my friends who will never believe this happened otherwise.*
*Con: I'm literally hiding in a hallway taking creep shots like some kind of stalker.*
*Pro: She literally bit my neck and told me she likes it when I bite back, so I don't think she'd mind.*
*Con: That's not how consent works, dumbass.*
He waited, heart pounding for absolutely no reason except that this entire situation was fucking insane. After a moment, he heard Sarah's voice again.
"Shoto, can you grab the serving spoons from that drawer?"
"Which drawer?"
"The one by the sink."
Footsteps. Movement. Bakugo peeked around the corner again.
Sarah had turned around, leaning back against the counter with a wooden spoon in one hand. She was licking sauce off her thumb, her head tilted slightly, and the front of that dressâJesus Christ, the front of that dress with that neckline that showed off her cleavage and the curve of her breastsâwas just as devastating as the back.
*Fuck it. In for a penny, in for a pound.*
He raised his phone and snapped another picture just as she smiled at something Todoroki said.
*Got it.*
He retreated back down the hallway, slipped into the bathroom, and locked the door again. His hands were actually shaking slightly as he pulled up the photos.
*Fuck.*
The pictures were good. Too good. The first one showed the full expanse of her back, the dress, the curve of her body. The second caught her mid-smile, the front of the dress, everything.
*These idiots better appreciate this. I just committed a misdemeanor for them.*
He opened the group chat and sent both photos without commentary.
Then he waited.
The response was immediate and exactly as chaotic as he'd expected.
**Kaminari:** HOLY SHIT
**Sero:** BRO
**Kaminari:** BRO
**Sero:** BROOOOO
**Kaminari:** IS THAT HER
**Kaminari:** IS THAT ACTUALLY HER

**Sero:** or reverse it
**Sero:** she rides him
**Sero:** you take her mouth

Bakugo stared at his phone in absolute horror.
*Why did I text them. Why did I think this was a good idea. What is wrong with me.*
**Sero:** knock her up bro
**Bakugo:** WHAT THE FUCK SERO
**Sero:** you heard me
**Sero:** knock her up

**Sero:** BREEDING TIME
**Kirishima:** Okay wait hold on
**Kirishima:** like is this a joke bro
**Kirishima:** cause I dont see Todoroki wanting to share her like that
**Kirishima:** this seems fake
Finally. Finally, one of them was showing some sense.
**Bakugo:** dumbass he literally invited me over
**Bakugo:** he ASKED me to do this
**Bakugo:** apparently i was on some kind of list
**Bakugo:** if I dont want to hes calling your dumbass next
There was a pause. Bakugo could practically see Kirishima's face as he processed that information.
**Kirishima:** ...
**Kirishima:** ...dont do it
**Bakugo:** finally
**Bakugo:** finally someone making sense
**Kirishima:** no bro
**Kirishima:** not like that
**Kirishima:** dont do it because if you say no
**Kirishima:** I get to break into that
**Kirishima:** I get to use todorokis couch
**Kirishima:** I get to hit that in his APARTMENT
The chat went completely silent for exactly three seconds.
Then all hell broke loose.
**Kaminari:** KIRISHIMA
**Sero:** KIRISHIMA EIJIROU
**Kaminari:** WHAT THE FUCK
**Sero:** WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK
**Kaminari:** YOU SELFISH BASTARD
**Sero:** YOU ABSOLUTE PIECE OF SHIT

**Sero:** say yes so kirishima loses
**Kirishima:** wow
**Kirishima:** WOW
**Kirishima:** so its like that
**Kaminari:** its EXACTLY like that
**Kaminari:** you tried to sabotage our boy
**Kaminari:** you tried to steal his threesome
**Kaminari:** this is WAR
Bakugo leaned back against the bathroom door, staring at his phone as the messages continued to roll in. His friends were losing their minds. Kirishima was actively trying to cockblock him for his own benefit. Kaminari and Sero were giving him sex position advice like they were coaching him through a sports game.
This was insane.
All of this was completely insane.
*Okay. Okay, let's think about this rationally.*
*Pro: My idiot friendsâwho have terrible judgment about literally everythingâall think I'd be insane not to do this.*
*Con: My idiot friends have terrible judgment about literally everything.*
*Pro: Sarah is legitimately incredible. That body. That confidence. The way she bit my neck and whispered in my ear. The fact that she WANTS this.*
*Con: I have to... what, coordinate? With Todoroki? The entire time? That's weird. That's definitely weird.*
*Pro: Todoroki doesn't seem to think it's weird. He's done this before. He knows what he's doing.*
*Con: But I haven't done this before. What if I fuck it up? What if I'm terrible at threesome logistics?*
*Pro: How hard can it be? It's just sex. I'm good at sex. I'm great at sex.*
*Con: That's not the same thing and you know it.*
He looked at himself in the mirror again. His face was still flushed, his pupils still blown. The bite mark on his neck stood out like a brand.
*What would sixteen-year-old me think about this?*
*Sixteen-year-old me would probably pass out. Sixteen-year-old me thought kissing was basically the pinnacle of human achievement. Sixteen-year-old me would look at this situation and have a fucking aneurysm.*
*But I'm not sixteen anymore.*
*I'm twenty-six. I'm a pro hero. I've saved lives. I've fought villains. I've done things that would have terrified my younger self.*
*And right now, there's a woman in the other room who wants me. Who looked at me and decided I was worth wanting. Who bit my neck and told me she likes it when I bite back.*
*And her boyfriendâmy friendâis completely okay with it. More than okay. He suggested it.*
His phone buzzed again.

**Kirishima:** thats not even possible
**Sero:** WATCH ME
*Pro: If I say no, Kirishima gets called next. And that's unacceptable on principle.*
*Con: That's a terrible reason to have a threesome.*
*Pro: But it's also a great reason. Spite is a powerful motivator.*
*Pro: I want this. I actually want this. Not because my friends are telling me to. Not because I'm trying to beat Kirishima. But because Sarah is incredible and Todoroki trusts me and this is something I've never done before and maybe... maybe it's okay to want new experiences.*
*Con: What if it's awkward?*
*Pro: What if it's not?*
*Pro: What if it's amazing?*
He looked at himself in the mirror one more time. At the bite mark. At his flushed face. At the evidence of what had already happened in the kitchen.
*Fuck it.*
**Bakugo:** im doing it
The response was instantaneous.
**Kaminari:** YES

**Sero:** very spontaneous
**Kaminari:** and remember
**Kaminari:** eye contact with todoroki
**Kaminari:** assert dominance
**Sero:** but dont pee on his couch
**Sero:** i was joking about that
**Kaminari:** were you though
**Sero:** ...mostly joking
**Bakugo:** goodbye
**Kaminari:** MAKE US PROUD

Chapter 56- Title: âTremor Lineâ
Scene Interior, Katsukiâs Car | Racing Toward U.A. Medical
You sat slumped in the passenger seat, tears streaking over the smear of blood on your cheek as you tried to wipe it away with trembling fingers. Your breathing hitched disoriented from the fall, from the pressure building like storm clouds in your pelvis.
And then it hit.
The first contraction.
âAhâ you gasped, clutching your belly, the pain curling through your spine like a brand. âKatsukiâ
He whipped his head toward you.
âShit. Hang on. Just breathe. Weâre almost there.â
Bakugoâs POV, Behind the Wheel
His hands gripped the steering wheel like it was the only thing keeping him grounded. You were crying. In pain. And already bleeding. Every part of him was fighting the urge to detonate.
His jaw clenched. âMove, you extras! MOVE!!!â
He slammed the horn, weaving between cars, tires screeching. The GPS was yelling. You were trying not to cry out loud. And under it all, his mind kept replaying the moment: your face twisting in fear, the thud when you hit the floor, Rivetâs hand
âI swear to fucking godââ
Another contraction hit you like a freight train. He saw you double over, fists curled under the curve of your belly.
âWeâre here,â he said, throat tight. âJust hold on a little longer, okay? Please.â
Scene Emergency Entrance, U.A. Medical
Katsuki swerved to a stop at the curb, practically tearing the seatbelt off as he bolted to your side.
You tried to sit up but another wave surged hot and fast. âNo..ah, godâ
He was already lifting you, careful but urgent. âIâve got you, Iâve got you câmon.â
You braced a hand on his shoulder as your other clutched your stomach. Your face buried against his collarbone, sobs strangling out between gasps.
âER staff!â he bellowed as the doors burst open. âPregnant hero 36 weeks bleeding, two contractions already!â
Nurses moved fastgurney wheels squealing, gloves snapping into place. Someone pressed an oxygen mask to your face.
Scene Interior, Kirishimaâs Patrol Route
He ran like gravity had stopped mattering.
Bakugoâs words burned in his chest: âHe hit her. Sheâs bleeding. Her water broke.â
Every step was fuel. He couldnât feel his lungs. Could barely feel his legs.
Sheâd been fine. Sheâd been safe.
And then she wasnât.
Scene U.A. Medical, Delivery Suite
The room swirled around you in a blur. Fluorescent lights. Panic voices. The beeping of the fetal monitor too fast.
Your body was shaking.
âSix centimeters,â one nurse called out. âHer contractions are too close. We donât have time for epidural.â
âWhat?!â you gasped, eyes wide. âNo, no, no, I wasnât readyâ
âWe need to move fast. Babyâs heartbeat is decelerating.â
Your BP was spiking monitor wailing sweat poured from your brow.
Katsuki held your hand tight, whispering low.
âIâm right here,â he murmured. âIâm not going anywhere. Just breathe. Keep fighting.â
Scene Locker Room, U.A. West Wing
Rivet scowled into his locker, muttering to himself. âCanât believe that asshole blew it all up over some hormonal tramp with a badge.â
He turned smirk still curling until the temperature dropped.
The air turned sharp.
His breath fogged.
âWhaâ?â
A sharp crack of cold against skin. Then he was pinnedâback to wall, limbs frozen in place by icy braces that formed from nowhere.
Todoroki stood in the doorway, flanked by Sero and Kaminari.
âYou want to talk about strength,â Todoroki said quietly, âyouâll do it from the floor.â
Denkiâs hands crackled with voltage, eyes narrowed. âThis is us being polite.â
Sero stepped closer. âTouch her again, Rivet, and weâll decorate your boots with your own teeth.â
The silence that followed wasnât empty.
It was final.

---
Scene â U.A. Field Office, Midday
The office smelled faintly of lemon cleaner and old coffee. Cardboard boxes lined the desk beside you as you folded the last few personal files into folders. Katsuki stood across from you, arms crossed while triple-checking a secured container of medical leave documents.
âI swear,â you muttered, easing down into your chair, one hand on the underside of your belly, âif Iâd gotten pregnant in winter, I wouldnât be melting every time I blink.â
Katsuki shot you a look. âYou werenât complaining that night in early spring.â
You glared. âI was hormonally blind.â
He barked out a short laugh, then scanned the room. âGotta grab something from the back hang tight.â
He left.
The hum of lights overhead was the only sound for several beats⊠until footsteps echoed beyond the door.
âBack already?â you called, not turning.
The footsteps didnât answer.
You looked up and your stomach sank.
It wasnât Katsuki.
âRivet.â
He stood half-shadowed in the entry, jacket unzipped, the smug tilt of his lips venomous.
âPacking up, huh?â he said, voice like ice sheathed in oil. âGuess PR didnât want to risk you combusting on company property again.â
âGet the hell out,â you snapped, rising slowly. âYouâre not authorized in this building. Especially not around me.â
He stepped closer anyway.
Your fingers twitched toward your comms badge.
âYouâre lucky Iâm pregnant,â you said, voice razor-thin, âor Iâd AP shoot your ass through this wall.â
Rivetâs grin curled nastier. âYouâve always been all spark, no fire.â
He lunged a step too close.
You moved fast toward the exit but his arm shot out and grabbed yours, yanking you back with sudden force.
âLet go of me!â you shouted, struggling, clutching your belly.
And then
CRACK.
The sharp thud of skin on skin echoed.
You stumbled, crashing to the floor.
Your vision swam.
And then searing heat under your ribs.
---
Scene Katsuki, Just Outside
The sound hit him like a memory he wasnât ready for: your voice, sharp and panicked, followed by something he couldnât mistake.
Katsuki was through the door in seconds.
He skidded into the room and froze.
You were curled on the floor, arm shielding your belly.
And Rivet Rivet stood above you, sneering, hand half-raised.
Katsukiâs vision went red.
âYOUâ
He flew across the room and slammed Rivet into the metal storage lockers, the sound reverberating off the walls. Sparks snapped off his palms as he shoved an arm against Rivetâs throat.
But then your voice.
âNo no no no Katsukiâ
He turned just in time to see you
Blood on your inner thighs. Water pooling beneath you.
Your face terrified.
âFuckâhe whispered. âOh god, no.â
He threw Rivet backward unconscious before he hit the wall then scooped you into his arms, one hand braced behind your head, the other cradling your back.
âIâve got you Iâve got you I swear,â he murmured, bolting for the elevator.
Scene â City Streets, Patrol Route
Kirishima and Shoto were finishing patrol along South District when Kirishimaâs phone rang. He glanced down.
Kacchan.
âYoââ
The voice on the other end was sharp, almost strangled. âHe hit her. Sheâs bleeding. Her water broke. Weâre on the way to U.A. Medââ
Kirishima didnât hear the rest.
He was already running.
Shoto was right behind him. âWhat happened?â
Kirishimaâs voice cracked. âRivet.â
Todoroki pulled out his own phone, already speed-dialing dispatch. âIâll alert the squad. But firstâŠâ
He paused, glance icy.
âWeâre paying him a visit.â

Hey yall Iâm sorry I havenât updated my story yet. Itâs almost coming to an end. Iâve been also doing some other side projects and wanted some feedback. Let me know what you all think. Itâs just an excerpt.
**Hospital - Hallway Outside Sarah's Room**
Bakugo's been sitting in that chair for four hours when there's a quiet knock on the door.
Kirishima pokes his head in, takeout bag in hand. He glances at youâasleep, finally, bruises dark on your throatâthen jerks his head toward the hallway.
Bakugo looks at you one more time, making sure you're really out, then follows Kirishima into the corridor.
"Brought food," Kirishima says, holding up the bag. "Figured you haven't eaten."
"I'm fine," Bakugo mutters.
"Dude, it's been hours. You need to eat." Kirishima pushes the bag into his hands. "Spicy ramen. Your usual."
Bakugo takes it reluctantly, leaning against the wall. He opens the container but doesn't eat, just stares at it.
Kirishima leans against the opposite wall, arms crossed. "How is she?"
"Asleep. Finally." Bakugo's jaw tightens. "Throat's fucked. Can barely talk. Bruised ribs. But she's alive. Baby's alive."
"That's good," Kirishima says quietly. "That's really good."
They stand in silence for a moment, the hospital sounds filling the spaceâdistant beeping, nurses talking at the station down the hall, a TV playing somewhere.
"Deku told Todoroki," Kirishima says finally.
Bakugo's grip on the takeout container tightens. "Yeah. I figured."
"He's on a plane," Kirishima continues. "Gets here tomorrow afternoon."
"Good for him," Bakugo says flatly.
"Bakugoâ"
"Fucker should've been here fifteen weeks ago," Bakugo snaps, voice low but vicious. "He should've been here when she found out. When she was throwing up every day and losing weight. When she was breaking shit in my kitchen because she didn't know what to do. He should've been here today, making sure she *didn't* have to go on patrol in her condition."
Kirishima's quiet, letting him vent.
"But no," Bakugo continues, practically spitting the words. "He was in New York. Building his fucking career. And now he gets to swoop in after she almost died and play the concerned father? Fuck that."
"What did she decide?" Kirishima asks carefully. "About the baby?"
Bakugo's expression shiftsâsomething raw and painful crossing his face.
"She's keeping it," he says quietly.
Kirishima nods slowly. "That's good. Right? That's whatâ"
"Yeah," Bakugo interrupts. "It's good. She wants it. And I'mâI'm gonna help her. Whatever she needs."
"But?" Kirishima prompts, because he knows his friend well enough to hear what's not being said.
Bakugo's quiet for a long moment, staring down at the ramen container in his hands.
"How the fuck am I supposed to do this?" he asks finally, voice barely above a whisper. "How am I supposed to watch her raise Todoroki's kid? Be there for every doctor's appointment, every ultrasound, every milestone. And then when the baby's bornâ" His voice cracks slightly. "Having to see his kid. With her eyes. Her smile. Knowing it should've beenâ"
He stops himself, jaw clenching hard.
"Knowing it should've been yours," Kirishima finishes softly.
Bakugo doesn't deny it. Just closes his eyes, head falling back against the wall.
"I love her," he says, and it sounds like a confession. Like something he's been holding in for too long. "I've been in love with her for years. And I thoughtâI thought maybe if I just stayed close, if I was patient, eventually she'd see me. But then Todoroki happened. And now she's pregnant with his kid. And I'm still here. Still fucking here. Because I can't *not* be."
"That's not a bad thing," Kirishima says gently.
"It's torture," Bakugo counters. "Watching her go through this. Knowing another guy did this to her and then left. Knowing that kid is gonna grow up calling someone else 'dad' while I'm justâwhat? Uncle Katsuki? The guy who was there when their real dad wasn't?"
"You don't know what's going to happen," Kirishima points out. "Maybe Todoroki comes back and steps up. Maybeâ"
"He won't," Bakugo says flatly. "He'll try. He'll show up tomorrow all apologetic and make promises. But eventually, he'll go back to New York. Because that's what he does. He runs when things get hard."
"And you'll still be here," Kirishima says.
"Yeah," Bakugo mutters bitterly. "I'll still be here."
Kirishima pushes off the wall, stepping closer. "Look, man. I know this is hard. I know it's not what you wanted. But you being there for her? That matters. And when that kid is old enough to understand who showed up and who didn't, they'll know. They'll know you were the one who stayed."
"That doesn't make it hurt less," Bakugo says quietly.
"No," Kirishima agrees. "It doesn't. But maybe it makes it worth it."
Bakugo finally looks at him, expression raw and exhausted.
"I don't know if I can do this," he admits. "I don't know if I'm strong enough to watch her have his baby and notâ" He stops, shaking his head.
"You are," Kirishima says firmly. "You're the strongest person I know. And you love her. So you'll figure it out."
Bakugo doesn't respond, just stares down at the ramen again.
"Eat," Kirishima says, nodding at the container. "She's gonna be out for a while, and you need your strength. Todoroki gets here tomorrow, and something tells me that's gonna be a whole thing."
Bakugo lets out a humorless laugh. "Yeah. Gonna be a fucking disaster."
"You want me to stay?" Kirishima offers. "Backup?"
"Nah," Bakugo says. "I can handle it. But thanks. For the food. And forâ" He gestures vaguely.
"Anytime," Kirishima says, clapping him on the shoulder. "Call me if you need anything. Seriously."
"Yeah."
Kirishima heads toward the elevator, and Bakugo watches him go before turning back to your room.
He pauses at the door, looking through the small window.
You're still asleep, curled on your side, one hand resting on your stomach in a protective gesture that probably isn't even conscious.
His chest tightens.
*His kid.*
*Todoroki's kid.*
The kid that's going to have her eyes, her smile, her stubbornness. And Todoroki's features. Todoroki's genes. Todoroki's claim.
And Bakugo's going to be there for all of it.
Because he can't not be.
Because he loves her too much to leave.
Even if it kills him.
He takes a breath, pushes the door open, and goes back inside.
He sets the ramen on the side tableâhe'll eat it later, maybeâand settles back into the chair beside your bed.
Your hand is resting on top of the blanket, and without thinking, he reaches over and takes it.
You don't wake, but your fingers curl slightly around his.
And Bakugo sits there, holding your hand, watching you breathe.
Tomorrow, Todoroki will show up.
Tomorrow, everything will get more complicated.
But tonight, it's just you and him.
And the baby that he's already decided to protect.
Even if it's not his.
Even if it never could be.
Because loving you means loving every part of you.
Including the parts that belong to someone else.
And Bakugo's never been good at doing things halfway.
So he'll stay.
He'll help.
He'll be there.
And he'll figure out how to survive watching you raise another man's child.
One day at a time.
Starting now.
It's my 3 year anniversary on Tumblr đ„ł
Chapter 54- Title: âShockwavesâ
Scene â Afternoon, U.A. Commons
The calm didnât last.
The news hit between lunch trays and unfinished missions. A report broke across three channels, splashed across feeds like someone had fired a flare into a powder keg.
âInternal Hero Communications LeakâWidespread Investigation Underway.â
âNew Lead Suggests Disgruntled Staff Involved in Metadata Breach.â
One name kept coming up.
Rivet.
Someone had traced encrypted metadata from one of the footage dropsâhospital surveillance, to be specificâback to a private account tied to Rivetâs old support team login. A name he hadnât used in months. But still had access to.
By evening, U.A. issued a statement.
âPending the results of our internal investigation, the pro-hero known as Rivet has been placed on indefinite suspension.â
The world took it like blood in the water.
---
Scene â Your Apartment, That Evening
The knock on your door was quietâbut deliberate. When you opened it, Denki stood there, phone in hand, eyebrows raised and grin sharp.
âTell me youâve seen it.â
You hadnât.
You let him in. He pulled up the clip.
It was Kirishimaâyour Kirishimaâbeing asked by a reporter about the leak.
He said nothing at first. Just looked dead into the camera and said:
âSheâs stronger than any of this. But thereâs a line. And Rivet crossed it. So when sheâs ready to return, I suggest they make room. Or theyâll hear from me again.â
---
Scene â Katsuki, Watching the Statement
He stood by the window, phone in hand.
Watched the playback again. And again.
The way Kirishima said âwhen sheâs ready.â Not if. Not maybe.
Katsuki breathed through his nose. âGood.â
Because whatever came next?
They were finally speaking with one voice.

CHAPTER 53- Title: âIn Light, In Quietâ
---
Scene â Kirishimaâs Office, Late Afternoon
He was halfway through a tangle of reports when his phone buzzed beside his elbow.
â[Your Name] tagged you in a photo. Confirm relationship post?â
He blinked, confusedâthen opened the preview.
A soft chuckle escaped him.
It was from a few months backâbefore the whispers, before the world caught on. You in a dark wine dress, cheeks dewy with laughter, one hand clutched to a drink and the other resting gently on his. He stood behind you, arms wrapped around your middle, one hand splayed protectively over the small but unmistakable curve of your belly.
Your face was tucked into the crook of his neck. Glowing.
His heart flipped sideways.
He pressed approve.
---
Scene â Your Apartment, That Night
You barely opened the door before a rush of air and warmth swept you upâKirishimaâs arms locking around you, lifting you clean off the floor as he kissed you with everything that had been building in his chest for days.
You gasped into his mouth, grinning. âKiriâwhat about waiting?â
He didnât pause.
âFor one night,â he murmured against your skin, carrying you effortlessly toward the bedroom, âIâm being completely unmanly and making love to my girlfriend. No rules. No fear. Just us.â
---
Scene â Morning Light, Your Apartment
Sunlight crept over the sheets, landing in golden pools across tangled legs and bare shoulders.
Kirishima lay curled beside you, one hand resting over your belly where your skin still radiated with warmth and belonging. You both scrolled quietly through the responses on your socials.
âLook at this,â you murmured, smiling. âPeople are actually⊠being nice.â
âDidnât know that was allowed online,â he teased.
You opened the post of you and Bakugo nextâthe clip from your candid interview rising in views, comments flowing like rivers.
âThis was honest. Respect to them for showing up for their kid.â
âMessy or not, theyâre doing the work. You canât fake this kind of clarity.â
You exhaledâshoulders easing a little more against Kirishimaâs chest. âMaybe the tideâs turning.â
âMaybe itâs just starting.â
---
Scene â Bakugoâs Apartment, Morning
The apartment was still.
Katsuki stood in his bedroom, half dressed, the edge of a shoebox open on his nightstand.
Inside, he held a single photo. The one from the hospital. You asleep, his hand braced against your bump, cradling you like he still didnât know how to say what that moment meant.
He didnât frame it.
Didnât post it.
But he placed it gently in the drawer beside his bedâresting it on top of a folded baby onesie Mitsuki had bought âjust in case.â
And for now, that was enough.

The city beyond your window had gone soft. Just gentle headlights sweeping shadows across the walls, your shared breaths slow and sweet beneath the blankets. Kirishimaâs hand rested protectively across your belly, fingers tracing idle circles where the warmth of your skin met the crisp cotton of your sleep shirt.
Then a kick.
Strong. Like a drumroll from the inside.
Kiri jerked slightly, chuckling as he glanced down. âAgain? Youâve got rhythm, little guy.â
You groaned. âI swear he thinks heâs in training already. Probably practicing his footwork.â
Kirishima leaned forward and placed a kiss right where he felt the movement. âYouâre gonna be trouble,â he murmured with affection. But something in his expression shifted. Quiet. Pensive.
You caught it.
âWhat is it?â you asked softly.
He hesitated. Then: âWhat Bakugo said⊠about us. About the lines. I know itâs his insecurities talking, but⊠this little guy kicking? Itâs like a reminder. Heâs not wrong about the fact that this is his kid too.â
You sighed, tipping your head back. âI get it. I do.â
Your hand found Kiriâs cheek, brushing a thumb just beneath his eye. âAnd as the official baby mama of Dynamight, I can respect his boundary. For now.â You smirked. âBut once this babyâs out and I get the all clear? Ohhh, Kiri⊠youâre in for the night of your life.â
He laughedâpure, red-faced, and disarmed. âNow that is motivation.â
Scene â Just Before Midnight
The soft buzz of your phone on the nightstand pulled you halfway from sleep. Kirishima shifted behind you but didnât wake. You blinked at the screen.
News Push Notification:
âNew Files Leaked: Hero [Your Name] Under Fire Again in Latest Pro Agency Memo Dropâ
You sat up. Tapped.
The Leak:
The article opened with screenshots of internal communications HR emails, doctorâs notes, even a moment from your private scan results, cropped to highlight remarks about âemotional instability,â âquirk instability,â and worst of all: âpotential liability on field.â
They called you volatile.
They called you a risk.
The comments were real. The implication wasnât.
The damage, though?
Spreading by the second.
Scene â Morning Aftermath
By dawn, it was everywhere.
Media swarmed again.
Your agency inbox flooded.
And public opinion split like glass under pressureâhalf defending you, half demanding accountability.
HR called by 7 a.m.
You didnât even answer.
Kirishima sat on the edge of the bed, fists clenched, jaw locked. âRivet. This has his fingerprints all over it. Iâm gonna kill him.â
âNo,â you said softly, voice hoarse. âYouâre gonna hold me. Then we figure out how to fight back together.â
His arms wrapped around you a second later, firm and sure.
Because this wasnât just gossip anymore.
This was war.
Scene â Your Apartment, Late Morning
The living room was warm with filtered light, quiet except for the gentle hum of the heater and the slight rustle of papers as you adjusted the outline of your talking points. Youâd moved some cushions to the floor and set up a ring light on the coffee table, camera ready to record from a soft, flattering angle. Everything about the setup whispered honestânot produced, not polished. Just two people reclaiming the story that had been spun around them.
You glanced up as the front door opened.
Katsuki stepped inside, hoodie half-zipped, expression somewhere between exhaustion and restraint. âSo,â he muttered, âyouâre gonna point a camera at us and make us tell the world we donât hate each other?â
You smirked faintly. âPretty much.â
He exhaled through his nose and dropped into the floor seat next to you. âFine. You lead.â
You hit record and leaned back against the couch with a breath. âHey everyone. Soâweâre here today to clear a few things up. Not because we owe anyone an explanation, but because the speculation has gotten⊠exhausting.â
Katsuki gave a side glance at the camera, mouth twitching faintly. âYou could say that.â
You continued, voice calm but anchored. âWhen all of this started, Bakugo and I were figuring things out. We thought there mightâve been a chance between us, romantically⊠but it didnât unfold that way. And then I found out I was pregnant. Which, yeahâthat wasnât part of the plan.â
His eyes dropped for a second. But he didnât interrupt.
You looked to him.
He picked up. âBy the time we got that news, she was already with Kirishima. And thatâs the truth. Thereâs no triangle. No secret betrayal. Just some people trying to deal with a lot of change all at once.â
You gave him a grateful nod.
âIâm still off-duty,â you said, your hand resting gently on your belly. âIâve been off the field for a while now. These pregnancy complications have hit hard. My energyâs not consistent. My quirkâs⊠adapting. Itâs not a question of controlâitâs biology. And mental wellness? Iâve got support. Therapy. A medical team that doesnât miss a beat. Iâm taking care of myself and this little guy.â
Katsuki added, âWeâre learning how to co-parent. Which means splitting the hard stuff and showing up. Every day. Even when itâs uncomfortable. Especially then.â
You smiled, small and tired but real. âWeâre not perfect. But weâre present.â
He turned his head toward you. âAnd thatâs gonna count for something.â
You ended the video thereâno music, no fancy cuts. Just raw words and steady hands.
Before he left, you asked for one more thingâa photo. Something for both accounts to post. A little peace offering to the public.
He stood beside you, one hand hovering awkwardly near your shoulder. You laughed and tugged him closer until his hand rested on the roundness of your belly.
The click captured something rare.
Not romance.
But a fragile, fierce sort of alliance.
Scene â U.A. Agency Lounge, Minutes Later
Kirishima was halfway through a briefing when a junior hero walked in holding a phone.
âBro⊠is this official?â
Kirishima blinked, eyebrows drawing in confusion. âIs what official?â
Denki tilted the screen toward him.
The joint post from your profile and Dynamightâs. The video. The photo.
All Kirishima saw was the headline swirling above the quiet still of you and Bakugo:
âUnified Front: [Your Name] and Dynamight Speak Out on Their Journey to Parenthood.â
His pulse spiked.
For a breath, he hadnât heard the word co-parent.
Heâd only heard together.

CHAPTER 51- Title: âFire, Flash, and the Falloutâ
Scene â Morning Broadcasts, Citywide
The fallout hit faster than anyone expected.
News stations ran loops of hospital footage captured by a security leak. In the quiet still of grainy surveillance, a slow zoom centered on a private room windowâinside, Bakugo sitting beside your hospital bed, one hand over yours, the other pressed gently to the swell of your belly as you slept.
âDynamight at her side after late-night admissionâsources confirm she was unconscious, baby remains stableâŠâ
Kirishima saw the footage from his locker.
He stood still. Every hair along his neck prickledânot just at Bakugoâs hand on you, or the soft gaze that felt too personalâbut the invasion itself.
You werenât a headline. You were hurt. And someone had sold that moment for clicks.
His hands curled into fists.
---
Scene â Hospital Edge, Distant Grassy Field
Katsuki didnât ask why he was being followed when Kirishima showed up. He just knewâknew from the look in his eyes that it needed to happen.
They found a patch of open field behind the med-wing, scarred from training drills. No one else in sight.
Kirishima cracked his neck. âI saw it.â
âNot my fault they sold it,â Bakugo said lowly. âI didnât even know I was being recorded.â
âYou shouldnâtâve touched her like that.â
âShe was crying in her sleep. I wasnât trying to replace you.â
Kirishima charged first.
The fight wasnât cleanâit was loud, grounded, messy. Earth shifted beneath them, punches thrown without quirks, without fanfare. Just muscle and fury.
By the time both men were breathing hard and dirt-smeared, they stood several feet apart, tension carved into their bodies.
âShe picked you,â Katsuki said at last, chest heaving. âAnd yeah it fucking hurts. But we made peace.â
Kirishima didnât answer.
âIâm not walking away from my kid,â Katsuki continued. âIâm here. Thatâs permanent. And if you ever mess this upâŠâ
He stepped forward once, voice sharp as shrapnel.
ââŠIâm not asking permission next time.â
Kirishima stared back, wiped a smear of blood from his lip.
âNot a chance,â he said simply.
And for the first time in weeks⊠they didnât hate each other.
They just hurt.
---
Scene â U.A. HR Department, Two Days Later
You walked between themâKirishima on your left, Katsuki on your rightâevery step into the HR building dragging behind you like a weighted coat.
Inside the room, tension sharpened as soon as the folders hit the desk.
âYou are both reinstated, effective immediately,â the HR officer said to Katsuki and Kirishima.
You turned slightly, hopeful.
ââŠBut [Hero Name], given your current status and the continued media visibility, we are placing you on medical leave, indefinite. Until this storm settles.â
Katsuki slammed his hand on the table. âAre you kidding me?â
Kirishima stood immediately. âThatâs bullshitâ
âShe didnât ask to be targeted,â Katsuki growled, âbut youâre gonna bench her while sheâs the one who got assaulted? What kind of fucking logic is that?â
âIâm sorry,â the HR rep said, too calm, âbut if we donât protect the agencyâs image, there wonât be a roster to come back to.â
Bakugo was halfway out of his chair. âIâll show you some fucking imageâ!â
You reached for his wrist. âItâs fine,â you said softly. âI need the time anyway.â
Katsuki didnât sit down.
But he didnât throw the table either.
Progress, barely.
---
Scene â U.A. Courtyard, Departing
The three of you walked out through the main campus gate.
Sunlight filtered through low clouds. It should have felt like relief.
ThenâRivet.
Leaning against a bench, smiling like a man whoâd been waiting.
âWell, if it isnât the golden trio,â he drawled. âGot your maternity medal yet? Or do you still need the dads to fight over naming rights?â
Katsuki froze.
Kirishimaâs eyes narrowed.
Rivet smirked, arms crossed.
âYouâre a cautionary tale, [Hero Name],â he added. âHeroes like you always break in the middle.â
Thatâs when the ground vibrated.
Katsukiâs palms lit orange. Shoulder already turning as if winding for the kill.
âBakugoââ you warned.
But Kirishima stepped firstâhis arm unbreakable, catching Katsukiâs wrist mid-air.
âNot here,â he said low.
The heat eased.
But not the fury.
Katsuki looked between you both.
âWeâre not done with him,â he said.
âNo,â you said softly. âBut weâre done today.â
And togetherâbruised, exhausted, and not quite wholeâthe three of you walked on.
Scene â Your Apartment, That Evening
You sat on the couch with a blanket draped over your lap, the warm glow of the lamp casting soft light across the room. Kirishima stood by the windows for a beat, arms crossed loosely, jaw setânot angry at you, but holding something back.
âI saw the photo,â he said quietly. âThe one of Bakugo⊠holding you. While you slept.â
You looked down for a moment, then gestured gently for him to come closer. He did.
âNothing happened,â you said, voice steady. âI was overwhelmed. He was⊠trying to be there. But I was asleep, Kiri. I didnât know he touched me like that. I wouldnât have asked him to.â
His brow softened, gaze dropping to your joined hands.
âI shouldâve told you sooner,â you said gently. âBut everythingâs been moving so fast. The fallout, the HR meeting, this baby kicking like heâs ready for high school alreadyâŠâ
Kirishima chuckledâjust onceâbut it eased the tension.
You reached up, cradled his face between your palms.
âIâm with you,â you said, firm now. âYou. That hasnât changed. Itâs not going to. Iâm your girlfriend. Youâre the man I trust with all of thisânot because itâs easy, but because you stayed. You keep staying.â
He leaned in, pressing his forehead gently to yours. âItâs just hard, you know? Seeing someone else get a piece of you⊠even a small one. Especially when all I want is to protect every inch of who you are.â
You smiled, pulling him onto the couch beside you and resting your head against his shoulder.
âI get it,â you murmured. âBut no piece of me is going anywhere.â
And for a while, he just held you. No more questions. No more fear. Just the steady rhythm of two hearts still choosing each other.

CHAPTER 50- Title: âFaultlines & First Vowsâ
Scene â Recovery Room
The second the door opened and you saw Kirishimaâs face, your strength cracked in half.
âKiriââ Your voice broke as you reached toward him with trembling hands.
He was across the room in two strides, scooping you gently into his arms where you sat propped in the bed. You collapsed against his chest, sobbing from a place so deep it felt like it had been waiting all day to be touched.
âI was scared,â you whispered. âI didnât care what they did to me, I just⊠I kept thinking pleaseâlet my baby be okay. Let my son be okay.â
Kirishima held you tighter, voice thick. âYouâre both here. And youâre not alone. Not ever again.â
His mouth brushed your temple. âI swear to youâIâm never leaving your side. Youâll never face anything like that by yourself again.â
You nodded into his collar, clinging to him like he was the only safe ground left after an earthquake.
Because maybe he was.
Scene â Hospital Break Area
Denki rubbed the back of his neck as Katsuki paced like a bomb with no timer. A news replay played muted overheadâflashes, your fall, the shouts of people who werenât trying to help.
âThey got into her private garage,â Katsuki growled. âThatâs not a lucky guess. Thatâs someone giving them access.â
Denki frowned. âSecurity breach maybe?â
Katsuki shook his head. âNo. That garage is badge-locked and mapped. Someone gave them access.â
His fists trembled, eyes dark. âAnd now sheâs got another scar because of it.â
Scene â Corridor Outside Recovery, Later That Night
A nurse approached Kirishima softly. âVisiting hours are over. Weâll have to ask you to return tomorrow.â
Kiri kissed your hand once more. âIâll be back first thing.â
He stepped into the hallway, just as Katsuki exited from the other end. They met halfwayâreluctantly.
âYou sticking around to make your next move?â Katsuki asked, voice low.
Kirishimaâs jaw tightened. âYou got something to say?â
Katsuki didnât bark this time. He sounded⊠tired.
âI know I lost my shot. I know I screwed it up. And I know you didnât want it to be like this.â
Kiri blinked, caught off guard by the weight in his voice.
âBut sheâs the mother of my son,â Bakugo said. âThatâs not something you get to ignore just âcause your feelings are shiny and new. Iâm not telling you to leave. Iâm asking you to respect the line.â
âAnd what line is that?â
âThat I canât sit back and pretend itâs easy to watch this happen. Not when I havenât even figured out how to forgive myself.â
For onceâthey didnât explode.
They just stood in the rubble of what neither of them had the tools to fix.
Scene â Recovery Room, Later
You sat quietly, cradling your swollen belly, thumb brushing over the skin beneath the blanket. The moment hit without warningâa sob escaping your throat before you could breathe through it.
Katsuki appeared in the doorway just then.
His face fell. âHeyâwhatâs wrong?â
You couldnât answer. Just wept harder.
He rushed to your side, dropping to one knee. âYouâre okay. Youâre okay. Heâs okay.â His hand pressed to your bump. âWeâre okay.â
You leaned into him, tears soaking his collar.
âIâm sorry,â he murmured into your hair. âFor every moment I wasnât there. For every word I threw at you when I shouldâve just listened.â
He let his forehead rest against your belly.
âIâll do better,â he whispered. âFor him. For you. Even if itâs hard. Even if I donât get it perfect.â
You laughed through your tears. âIâll try to be less hormonal.â
He huffed. âYouâve got a baby inside you. You get to cry about fruit if you want.â
That made you laugh harder. Then⊠the stillness shifted. His hand moved to your cheek.
And you kissed. It was instinctualâgentle at first, then slowly rising into something full of memory and ache.
[Flashback: His POV]
That night⊠youâd come to his apartment soaked in rain and exhaustion. The fight had just ended. Youâd let him inâone conversation, one breath at a time.
When you kissed him that night, he remembered thinking this isnât just heatâitâs history. The press of your lips had been slow and searching, his hands finding your waist like he had a right to remember how you fit there.
He remembered how you trembledânot out of fear, but fragility. Youâd let him take his time with you. Heâd worshipped every inch like an apology he was too proud to speak.
The morning after, you smiled like you wanted to forgive himâbut hadnât decided yet.
And he hadnât earned it anyway.
[Flashback: Your POV]
You remembered thinking maybeâmaybe this meant something.
He was quiet that night in a way Katsuki never was. He hadnât gripped you out of hunger. Heâd held you like he was afraid youâd vanish.
You remembered how you curled against his chest after. How you wanted to believe heâd wake up softer. But morning came. And so did the wall between you.
[Back to Now]
The kiss deepenedâfingers curling, breath catching. But you pulled back, a hand on his chest.
âI canât.â He stilled. Didnât move. Just stared at you.
âI love you,â you whispered. âI always will. But not like I love Kiri.â His eyes dropped. You reached for his hand. Placed it over your belly.
âWe share a son. And for that, for him, Iâll always have love for what we had. Even if it hurt at first.â
Katsuki swallowed. Nodded once. The tears didnât fall. But they were there.

Chapter 49- Title: âBreaking Pointâ
---
Scene One â Private Garage, Dusk
You slammed the car door harder than intended, jaw clenched tight from the sting of earlier words that hadnât fully stopped echoing. The elevator to your apartment was just ahead.
Then a flash.
Then another.
Voices rose behind you. More aggressive than usual.
Three paparazzi stepped out from behind support beamsâin the private garage.
âMiss [Hero Name]! Just one quoteââ
âAre you seeing Red Riot and Dynamight?â
âIs it true you seducedââ
You turned sharply, clutching your bag tighter and hurrying your steps. But they swarmed, moving faster than expected. Too close.
You shoved past one of themâbut another grabbed your elbow.
âDonât touch me!â
The world tilted.
Your boot caught the edge of the ramp. You staggered, tried to catch yourselfâbut the grip on your arm yanked you backward.
Your shoulder twisted. Your head cracked against the concrete.
Whiteness.
Gasps. Someone cursed. A voice said, âSheâs bleedingâoh my Godââ
And then it all went black.
---
Scene Two â Katsukiâs Apartment
Katsuki stood in his living room, pacing. Still too hot. Still too keyed up.
Why the hell would she be with him?
Why now?
Why does it feel like Iâm chasing my own shadow?
He rubbed his jaw where youâd slapped him.
Then his phone vibrated. A news push notification lit the screen:
âBREAKING: Pregnant Pro Hero Falls During Altercation with Paparazzi. Caught on Video.â
He tapped.
The footage loadedâyour scream, the stumble, the sickening thud as your body hit the pavement.
Blood.
And thenâhis phone rang.
âEmergency contact for [Hero Name], this is U.A. Medicalââ
He was already out the door before they finished the sentence.
---
Scene Three â City Streets
Kirishima walked alongside Denki on patrol, dragging his fingers across a phone screen when Denki cursed under his breath.
âBroâturn on the news.â
Kiri looked. His heart dropped.
The image on screen was youâsurrounded, falling, unmoving.
He didnât wait.
He ran.
---
Scene Four â Hospital, Recovery Bay
The beeping was steady.
You floated in and out, hearing voices but feeling like you were under water.
ââŠminor head trauma. No skull fractureâŠâ
ââŠfetal monitoring, initiating scanââ
Katsuki burst into the room, eyes wild, voice almost breaking.
âIs she okay? What about the babyâis he okay?â
A doctor placed a hand on his chest, guiding him back. âVitals are stable. Weâre running the full scan nowâplease stay back.â
The door opened again.
âIs sheââ Kiri began, breathless.
But the nurse stopped him. âFamily only. And the childâs biological father.â
Kiri stepped forward. âIâm her boyfriendââ
âShe doesnât need you in here,â Katsuki snapped, stepping into view.
âShe wants me here,â Kiri growled.
âYou think this is about you? Get out.â
A tense pause.
Kirishima stepped back. No words. Just a glare hot enough to peel paint.
---
Scene Five â Waiting Area
Kirishima threw the chair back, running both hands through his hair. Ari was at his side. Kaminari, too.
âShe couldâve died,â Kiri muttered, fist clenched. âThey dragged her down like she was prey.â
Denki offered a cold bottle of water. âSheâs in good hands, man.â
âAm I?â Kiri muttered. âNot even allowed in the fucking room.â
---
Scene Six â Recovery Room
You stirred.
Then thrashed.
âStopâstopâdonât touch meâget offâ!â
Katsuki was at your side in a second, voice low, hand at your cheek. âHeyâhey, youâre safe. Itâs just me. Youâre okay. The babyâs okay.â
Your breathing slowed.
Tears welled. You curled in on yourself. âI thought I lost him.â
âYou didnât,â he said, still holding your hand. âHeâs strong. Just like you.â
You met his eyes. Quiet.
Then gently: âCan you get Kirishima?â
Katsuki didnât move for a second.
Then he nodded.
Left the room with clenched fists.
And told the waiting room in a low, hoarse voice: âSheâs awake. The babyâs okay. You can go in now.â
Kirishima didnât speak.
He just moved.
Straight into the room.
And the door closed behind him.
