it's not terrible. i had to make my cocoa from scratch because tanager's house is a barren homesteading wasteland where we do things like "whisking cocoa powder and sweetener into a pot with cream and water over medium heat" rather than using the mix like a normal person, but here are my findings:

it does smell like vomit. hold your judgement.

as soon as i stirred the lemon syrup in the cream immediately curdled and made this like. scabby, oily.... crust? on top. the taste of that wasn't half bad.. it was kind of like a fresh mousse with a lemony zest. if you like chocolate oranges it's similar, and it kind of precipitated out into the mixture and stayed suspended, so all of it was more or less that texture.

those gag drinks that rely on curdled cream are the next thing i could think of.

i drank the whole thing.

on having drunk the whole thing? i do feel like it's given gn me some kind of throat cancer.

solid 4/10, average experience. half a point was deducted for smell and back-taste of esophageal melting.
