she trails the aisles of the store, fingers delicately stroking the clothes on their hangers. she’d dragged the other inside for yet another one of her thrifting adventures ; her favorite pastime. “ hey ! what about this ? ” she beams , grabbing a floppy hat from a display nearby. she places it on her head , the item slightly dwarfing her petite features. “ SO chic , right ? ” voice laced with sarcasm as she does a small twirl.

“i walked into the store today to pick up some things for my baking video and i come across the valentine’s day aisle and it made me think that we just celebrated christmas yesterday and now we’re already getting ready to celebrate love? also reminds me of how i’m single for another year for valentine’s day. no don’t get me wrong, i’m not bitter about it, i’m just saying that every year i’m always single on this day. i’ll be in a relationship but never have a boyfriend or girlfriend to celebrate when valentine’s day approaches. what about you, any plans for valentine’s day?”

“ i used to work in a grocery store growing up , and we’d get the easter egg deliveries on christmas eve. ” cindy smiles. she’d never necessarily NEEDED to work , her uncle was always happy to give her cash , but it had always made her feel like a nuisance to rely on him. he’d already done so much for her. “ but thinking about it , valentine’s day isn’t so far away now... i don’t really pay it much attention though. even if i WAS in a relationship , i don’t see the need to verify love through expensive gifts and wishy-washy words on one day of the year. you should show someone you love them every day. ” a sheepish expression crosses her features , “ not to rant or anything... ” truthfully , she DIDN’T see the point of valentine’s day - but her inner hopeless romantic still hoped that one day she would have somebody to act mushy with once february 14th rolled around.

so here’s my second muse , my new baby cindy , inspired by a past muse of mine ! 

she wasn’t born into wealth , in fact she grew up in the opposite and had a pretty rough beginning to life

long story short , she was adopted by her aunt and uncle when she was eight years old after her parents were deemed unsuitable to raise her 

it was a huGE change to say the least .. her uncle runs a huge business and her aunt is a neurosurgeon so .. big $$$

she was treated as if she was their own , with her biological parents rarely addressed

she was happy for the new chance at life , but always felt .. a little out of place ?

her childhood experiences left her very withdrawn .. she was always seen as a quiet and shy kid growing up

she turned to music a lot ; writing her own songs and playing a variety of instruments

she pursued a career in music and her name is slowly becoming more well known !

personality-wise , she’s come out of her shell a lot more over the years - her self esteem is growing by the day and she no longer lets herself be walked all over like she used to

though she’s still a Soft Gal .. walks around like a ray of sunshine  

she’s quite eccentric .. loves outlandish fashion 

she occasionally has relapses into anxiety / PTSD , and when she has her dark times she tries .. to push everyone away
