I’m the type of person that will make a list of resolutions in the first week of January and forget all about them come Valentines day.

I think a really healthy thing to do to start off the new year is have a look back at the last year and appreciate it for the lessons it taught you, the people it brought you and the memories made.

Despite graduating, starting a masters and travelling to New York I was looking back at 2015 as pretty insignificant, which was a bit disappointing. And then I felt really guilty. I had an amazing time living with two of my best friends for the first half of the year, spent the summer visiting and spending time with so many of my favourite people and in September starting a post graduate degree I had never imagined myself doing. Even though I know this, and even know I know how lucky I am to have had so many amazing memories in a year, I have this drive for something more.

I want to travel more, make more memories, meet more people, get a job, get a promotion, and just experience as much as I can while I’m young and free (excuse the cheese).

So that’s my new years resolution. More. To do more, go more, be more and try and complete this masters while I’m at it  =/
