CARRIE (1976)
~ Dir. Brian De Palmer
The tv poster for HBO’s WHITE LOTUS Season 3
Cast includes Natasha Rothwell, Carrie Coon, Walton Goggins, Jason Isaacs, Parker Posey, Sam Nivola, Patrick Schwarzenegger, Michelle Monaghan, Aimee Lou Wood & LISA.
Taron Egerton, widely celebrated for his standout performances in the Kingsman franchise, takes on an entirely new challenge in the gripping thriller Carry On. This time, Egerton steps into the shoes of a young TSA agent who finds himself at the center of a high-stakes crisis on Christmas Eve. Blackmailed into allowing a deadly nerve agent onto a plane, his character must summon every ounce of bravery and quick thinking to protect the lives of everyone on board.
What drew Egerton to this role? The opportunity to explore a character far removed from the confident action heroes he’s known for. This unique premise gave him the chance to deliver a performance that’s as intense as it is emotionally layered. Carry On is now streaming on Netflix.

its very weird to watch the short beau after watching beau is afraid cause some of it is exactly the same but its also sort of interesting what the parts that didnt make it into the movie would have lead to??
“Losing Ground (1982) is one of the few independent films made in the 1980’s by a Black woman director. Kathleen Collins was a brilliant, highly talented professor of film. Unfortunately, she directed only this one commercial film, and tragically, she died when she was just 46 years old. The movie itself was largely ignored, and would have been truly lost except for a fortunate event. Collins’ daughter found the negatives, and Milestone has remastered the film for theatrical release.” (X) Losing Ground (1982, Directed by: Kathleen Collins, USA)
