Just had a dream I was a stunt man for Eminem in a music video. There’s this kid, one of the actors, who says something about going to jail. Eminem himself enters the room and says he’s actually on parole. “Why?” I ask. “For suckin’ my own dick,” he says. I choke on my next words. “Wha- did you do it in public, or-“ I turn to face him and suddenly he is koala hugging one of the sound engineers.

I casually play a couple hours of Outlast one weekend. My dad mentions I play video games to my doctor. Suddenly in that doctor’s office I am the Gamer™. I am an object of ridicule. Of leg pulling. I am in my cardiologist’s mind a day-in day-out COD player. I have thumbs of steel. A compulsion to murder. I never get off my ass and I am going to die because of it.
