I went to a museum recently. There was a small bronze statue of a naked boy riding a goose, so of course I had to draw it. I think it'a supposed to be for a water fountain but I couldn't find a info page anywhere and I'm not about to ask a random stranger so we shall never know

(It was the Ashmolean Museum in Oxford, I highly recomend you go visit if you can, it was amazing! and free!)

Oh shit is that a daily drawing challenge i see?

So this is January 20th: Draw something 'dad'

My dad used to have a kit car when i was a kid, I don't remember much about it except it was bright red and had white flames on it which I still think looked shit lol Also He picked my brother up at school once in it and I remember being really jealous cause i never got to go in it.

but anyway it was a pretty cool car

So a couple days ago I hit a muntjac, poor little thing didn't surive, and so I drew this as a way to honor it I guess?

I'm quite proud of this one. It's not perfect, but I like it.

Anyway I've started drawing pokemon for warm ups tho I tend to spend all the time drawing the pokemon instead of what I actually want to draw, but its still drawing so f it.

These are randomly picked, and I rolled a D20 to see if any were shiny, and sadly no. I'm planning to keep adding onto this so lets see how many I can do haha

19.Something you made

Wow I forgot how confusing social media is.

Sooooo, another year has gone by and I'm back again lmao.Who knows for how long this time haha Anyway this is a wooden knife I made back when I was pretending to go to uni, and I used a knife and some sandpaper and made a complete mess of my rented flat at the time. Thankfully it was uni accommodation and so was already a messy place to begin with loli never actually finished it, I have a bad habit of starting these things then never finishing it, I was gonna put some twine round the handle, maybe varnish it or something, I do like the wood grain, so I wasn't going to paint it. I dunno, maybe I'll get back to it one day. 18. Outside the Window

Long time no see…

So I’ve been working with my dad which means early starts and late nights, so I haven’t had much time to do art.

However, this did take two days, I dunno how many hours I always forget to time myself, but I’m pretty happy with it.

So I started drawing this at night, which meant I had to guess whereabouts everything is and my memory did not match it at all haha, and don’t ask me why we have a caravan i our back garden.

16. Favourite Tool

Gotta love multi tools hehe.

Mine doesn’t look like this, it actually divides into two pieces, making a knife and fork, it’s pretty awesome. Sadly I have no idea where it is lol.

Anyway, Gonna be honest, I didn’t put that much effort into it, because I’ve downloaded clip studio paint since kritia started having problems saving which was a hell no. But I am a little blown away at how I now love clip studio paint, I am very confused by almost everything on it haha, but it offers a lot more than kritia, which figures since kritia is free.

So I lost my train of thought, multi tools art cool.

Oh and I’ve almost finished the knitting project I’ve been working on, just gotta sow/knit in the left over ends then I am done, I gotta say I am bloody proud of myself for actually finishing it. I’m now thinking of knitting a cloak, maybe hornet from hollow knight style, but I have no idea how to begin to do that, so any tips and I am all ears.

15. Tree

14. Morning

My mind went way too far with this one, so I had to tell myself no halfway. I was going to do my full view from my bed but that was going to take to long haha

The main thing I wanted to try to capture was how, since my curtains have a gap in them all the time, how the light shines through in this slit. It’s really pretty.

I think I made it too yellowy, colours still confuse me, I have very little practice with them but this was a learning experience and I enjoyed it. Mostly.

I did experiment with levels for a bit and the process to find out where the level box was located was an experience to say the least.

But it turned out alright, vale!

13. Phone

I mostly just had fun with this one.

12. Dinner

Borger.

I actually ate beans on toast for dinner but beans are hard so burger instead.

Also I’m a veggie so pretend it’s fake meat lmao.

As for the art Kritia crashed when i was saving so I kinda gave up after that and just did a quick line art and cropped it and that was that.

Food doesn’t really appeal to me for drawing, not gonna lie.

11. Glasses

I’m quite happy with this.

I really like how the orange swirls on my glasses… You know the bit on the sides, goes above the ears, I have no idea what you call it haha.

But yeah, I like it. It was a lot more fun then I thought it was going to be.

Oh, and this only took about an hour to do, so I’m happy about that as well.

(As for why I didn’t post yesterday, I had a headache and the thought of staring at a computer screen for an hour really didn’t appeal to me at that point haha)

There’s some blue in my glasses as well, but you can’t really see it when they’re closed which is a shame, but let’s just pretend thats why I made the blackgr9ound blue lmao.

Day 10: HANDS

So I gotta admit, I actually really like drawing hands. I don’t know why, I remember doodling hands when I was in school, maybe it started then haha

Sooo, The top hands are the same hand, the first is the sketch, then neater sketch, then I went with soft shading because I’m the most comfortable with soft shading, inking is hard okay. Next is cell shading though I did soften it a little oops, and last I tried to do a mixture of both. I dunno, I really like the effects cell shading can achieve I just can’t seem to get my head round it yet. I also change the line art, I was going from more detail to simpler, because simplifying my art is something I also need to work on cause I end up over doing it and trying to draw realistically every time even though realism in art is something that I am looking for in my own art. I do understand it is needed to get better at anatomy and all those other things anyway,

Below that is a bunch of rough sketches of various hands. One of them is mine, I’ll give you a cookie if you figure out which one lmao.And don’t mind the little dude in the corner, I got a little bored with drawing hands over and over and wanted a quick break.

This took me about 4 hours to do, I had a break in the middle where I got food and knitted for a bit, I’m babbling now, critic welcome as always, and see ya tomorrow.

My whole life is an organized mess lmao

It was actually hard to pick something to draw as I’m gonna be honest, most of my ‘organized messes’ aren’t exactly organized.

But I decided to draw the stuff that sits in front of my computer screen, mostly because it was easy to see haha.

Didn’t realize how black everything was until I started drawing, and glass is really hard to draw, honestly how do people draw glass, they must have unlocked a part of their brain that takes years finding the key for.

Anyway, we have a candle, that I got from AYA AROMAS (It smells beautiful I recommend you get one, I’ll drop a link to their website below), A lighter for said candle, drugs cause i get headaches a lot, my glass with a couple sips of drink left in it, and the empty coke can I drew a couple days ago, yes I am very bad at tidying.

Oh the triangle thing is also my pen holder for my tablet.

Day. 8 Jewelry

Guess who forgot to upload again!

I’m about 95% sure I have ADHD but going to the doctors is hard.

Anyway I quite enjoyed doing this one, it’s a chocker with a metal bird skull that I brought a while back, I don’t own that much jewelry ha.
