HENRY.

Henry led the TARDIS to his flat. Inside, they were both greeted to colour and noise of books and comics and fandom, star wars posters and the like smothered the wall in a paste of glory. Toys on shelves and mess that smothered a bedsit as though Henry was alien to domestic chores. “Sorry about the mess,” Henry said, “Take a seat, did you want a drink, I have coke or something stronger? A beer or something?”

He was never good at talking to people but he tried, and besides, this was A TARDIS. A real life TARDIS. How could he not make the effort? “Now, I can hack into UNIT’s secure files and find out some stuff for you if you need, but it depends, If we’re looking for the same thing, I want to come with you. That’s the deal.”

Circuit’s eyes moved around the flat cautiously, not wanting to step or touch anything he shouldn’t. He had mishaps before due to his own carelessness and he was determined not to make an enemy of Henry out of clumsiness. “it’s fine,” he said quietly, not really having noticed there was any mess that needed to be apologised for. To Circuit, everything was all treasure in disguise.

“I’m fine, thank you. I’m not thirsty,” he said. As a TARDIS, he very rarely became hungry or thirsty, if at all. One of the perks of being born from a void. After a few moments, he looked over to Henry, listening to him as he spoke. “I’m looking for a way home and if I can’t go home then I want answers,” he said, hands buried in his pockets. “I have-- the ability to travel anywhere in time and space but I still need to-- unlock those abilities.” He paused considering the deal “you’re more than welcome to come with me.”

After a couple of run ins with time travelers who seemed unwilling to help or unable to, Circuit had grown cautious when first meeting a new time traveler - never mind someone who he sensed was from his own planet. It was why he had decided to ease his new acquaintance with a few questions of origin. He watched intently as they attempted to loosen the door, debating whether offering his help would cause more issues than resolve them.

“Circuit,” he said, quiet, not wishing to disturb the other’s focus too much. “Funnily enough, I’m also from Gallifrey. Small universe.”

“The Doctor?” Circuit questioned, tilting his head “through help from a friend. We were trying to work out how to-- pilot me after I was stranded here but-- instead-- it was an accident, of course.”
