i joined tumblr in 2020.

i have way too many f/os, so i've only listed the most prominent below the cut. do not be surprised if i talk about characters not listed there.

my type, when it comes to fictional characters, is usually some combination or flavor of evil/mean/violent, funny, older guy.

i do my best to tag things, but keep in mind that as my sense of humor tends to be raunchy and that the medias i enjoy usually depict violence, gore, drug use, and sexual themes, viewer discretion is advised. i'd say this blog is at best 16+.

my pronouns tend to change every month or so, so i please ask that you check this post on occasion to make sure you're up to date on what i'm using. i find my gender is largely influenced by the season, my interests, and what's going on in my life at any given time.

want to say that this blog is always a safe space for people with contradictory labels regarding gender and attraction to others. i wholly believe that the only person who can say who you are is You and others don't get to dictate how you describe yourself

2026 identity update for those that care about my labels:

Honestly at this point I don't really give a fuck about labels on myself (beyond pronouns), which is funny because I used to be obsessed with hoarding words for describing my experience

But when it does come to words, I am still happiest to call myself a genderfluid transmasc transsexual. Sexuality wise I would say I'm "gay" or "homosexual" or "queer."

Predominantly attracted to men and can only really see myself with men and other queer people, but would be willing to experiment with a cis woman if we had interest in each other. Not really romantically interested in real people, but definitely sexually interested and have a strong desire to explore relationships with multiple people at once.

Genderfluid transmasc transsexual holds very specific meaning for me because I've always kind of known I didn't "understand" or gel with the cis concepts of gender. I've never identified as one gender, and honestly up until I hit puberty I don't think I identified as having a gender at all, even if I would've defaulted to telling people I was a girl, because that's all I had ever been told I was.

However, nowadays, I know for a fact I am not a girl or a woman or any similar concept, hence the transmasc part of my identity. It's how I signal I identify more with the masc/male end of the spectrum, even if I do not fully embrace all the expectations of manhood. I could never be the basic cis concept of a man, it would be too restricting.

And lastly I identify with the word transsexual because it is the sex I was assigned at birth that feels incorrect for me. My sex is what I want to transition, my sex is what I questioned at puberty. Never really felt my gender journey was that much of a transition, so I don't identify with the term transgender. I'm not going to get mad at people for using it to describe me, of course, especially those who don't know me personally, but I would never use it to describe myself.

okay i realise i should probably explain how cass being experimented on by umbrella as a child actually ties into their adult life and their relationship with gideon, since i'm not always so good at keeping consistent, paragraph-style writings about my ship lore

technically, the experiments killed them. they are completely unaware of this and their undead, semi-immortal status. they function as your typical human does, with all the pains and needs that come with human life, but it takes a lot more to kill them than just desecrating their organs. they have a low-grade healing factor that, over the course of a few days, can regenerate organs and heal minor injuries; however, it's not strong enough to say, fully regenerate a sawed off limb or something akin to such an injury. their bones still heal at a regular pace, so anywhere from several months to a year.

they also technically don't need to breathe, but do it out of habit. idc if that makes any sense "realistically," this is the mould creature universe. consuming soil enriched by dead things strengthens their healing factor/speeds up the process somewhat.

how does this relate to cass' relationship with gideon? i imagine there might be a point where cass ends up severely injured, perhaps during the events of the game, and it's only after that that they discover what exactly their grandfather did to them, or at least the consequences of his cruel actions. gideon freaks out at first, of course, but eventually becomes deeply intrigued with what's been done to them and grows even more protective of them, if possible.

and what if the first cassdeon love confession was a drunken one. victor walks cass home after they have a few drinks together, cass over-indulged because it had been a long fucking work night and they just needed to not think for a while, and as victor is helping them get settled for the night, making sure they're safe and such before he leaves, a slurred "i love you" purrs from cass' lips, followed by a fumbling profession of said love.

victor isn't sure how to feel; on the one hand, holy shit, his feelings are requited, on the other, cass can barely stand on his own right now, how the hell is he supposed to know it's not just the alcohol talking? and then maybe victor insists on staying the night, under the guise of caring for them in their inebriated state, but moreso so he can see if they'll remember what they said in the morning and perhaps reaffirm their feelings.
