Now, let's address what's most important . We started this blog for a few reasons—the prime reason being our need for a place where we can somewhat freely express our narcissistic traits . Previously, this section did note that we were unsure whether or not we could have NPD, & so we referred to ourselves as a midnight narcissist, but as of late we have become much more confident in our suspicions that we do truly have NPD . We are also going to be more open about posting about our BPD .

Now, as any narcissist would, I do tend to believe that I'm better than most other people, & I will likely behave as such . I do view myself as a God, & you could consider me somewhat brutally honest . I'm also very reliant on heavy-handed praise . Though even with all that said, I swear I don't bite . I do try to be as respectful as I can be, & I do enjoy trying to connect with people. I would be joyous to make some mutuals in this online space, so don't be afraid to interact!

I can't stop thinking about a plural future. I can't stop thinking about the day a plural kid goes to school and won't be forced to "get rid" of his "imaginary" friend when he gets older. About the day a plural kid goes to university and joins a plurality affinity group and takes a class about disability, neurodivergency, and plurality in society. About the day a parade rushes through Washington D.C. flaunting icons of intersecting rings and ampersands, joyous and unafraid. About the day non-discrimination policies say that you can't discriminate against someone on the basis of their multiplicity. The plural community on tumblr needs to be more inclusive of plurals who aren't systems. I'm psychotic and as a result have self identified as plural for around 6 years. Not all plurals are systems and not all plurality is caused by a CDD and the fact that idea is shunned so much in the online communities is very disheartening.

hey, im a neurodivergent without a pd, and i want to unlearn my biases, against people with PD (unlearn harmful beliefs and do research based on experiencss in general) is it okay if you talk about common misconceptions and about npd, and also explain to me the whole narc abuse situation, additionally how can someone have npd not be harmful to someone degree (i think in the criteria it talks about manipulation) (please ignore this ask if you are uncomfortable with it) /gen /nf /nm , also i think ur blog is very pretty!

this is a very reasonable ask, & i'm very happy to have received it, but i'm not the best explainer so this may not be the most detailed response i'd like it to be . there's a lot wrong with the concept of narcissistic abuse, & the supposed abuse central to any other personality disorders . anyone with or without a personality disorder or more can be abusive, as abuse isn't summoned just by those with pds . abuse, in of itself, is simply abuse . whether that be psychological abuse, physical abuse, any of it is still just abuse . attaching the concept of abuse to pds is incredibly dangerous, as having a demonized personality disorder that's so often assumed to "cause abuse" can be near life ruining for many reasons . lots of psychiatrists assume the worst of these disorders because of these assumptions, & that can make getting proper help & diagnoses incredibly challenging, which is why some people with npd refuse to seek it out at all . finding resources to try & aid yourself & understand your own symptoms can feel near impossible, as most of what you find searching online is full of solutions to "counteract" & essentially abuse narcissists . & it can be genuinely terrifying sometimes to go online & see people telling those who are open about their narcissism, those who haven't done a thing wrong, that they should not be alive simply for the fact they have a personality disorder they never asked for, one that is so often misunderstood . narcissists are people, too, ones who behave the way they do typically for survival's sake, as narcissism usually stems from a long history of repeated abuse . manipulation can very much be a part of that . it's an unfortunate habit, yes, but not one that forms for the same reasons that everyone seems to think . narcissists can still work towards doing good things & learning how to treat those around them with kindness, even if they don't particularly care for those people, or are unable to entirely perceive them as their own people, which sounds scary, i know, but in my own experiences it's really not as dramatic as it sounds, for the most part . i'm still nice to people i come across, i just can't really imagine them as anything further than npcs i interact with on occasion i guess . which does have its downsides for me but i don't feel it's necessary to get into that here . & to add, anyone is still capable of manipulation, it isn't just narcissists . & with that, i think i've about answered everything mentioned? i do hope this was helpful, even if only partially . if you want me to go into more details, or if you have more questions, please don't hesitate to send in another ask . & if anyone else better at explaining wants to reiterate or thinks i've said something that's a little off, please feel welcome to correct me . thank you sincerely for the ask & your concern on treating these people with the respect they deserve . & also for the compliment, i'll remember it <3 *twirls hair* lol
