Coming back from my hiatus to inform the radqueer community about dogwhistles to watch out for... Because honestly the radqueer community is woefully unknowledgeable about that kinda stuff.
Disclaimer: Most of these are about Jews because those are the primary ones I know about and partly because most dogwhistles are kinda about Jews. Feel free to add any ones I didn't include.
Disclaimer 2: I will be explaining what each of these mean so there will unfortunately be triggering language. I don't believe any of these, but I want it to be clear what these awful things mean.
14 → 14 words by neo-Nazi David Eden Lane (We must secure the existence of our people and a future for white children.)
1488 or 14/88 → mix of the 2 above dogwhistles
109 or 110 → the number of countries Jews have been kicked out of, implying Jews should be kicked out once more
271k → refers to a conspiracy theory that only 271 thousand Jews were murdered in the Holocaust
13/52 or 13/90 → The number 13 refers to the purported percentage of the U.S. population that is African-American. The number 52 refers to the alleged percentage of all murders committed in the U.S. that are committed by African-Americans. Some white supremacists use the number 50 instead of 52. The number 90 refers to the percentage of violent interracial crime allegedly committed by African-Americans
🧃 or 👃 → Refers to Jews, Juice because it's sounds like someone saying Jews and Nose because of the stereotype that Jews have particularly big or hooked noses
⚡ or ⚡⚡ → Refers to the SS
((())) → Used by neo-Nazis online around a person or organization's name to signal that they are secretly Jewish.
Elites/Globalist/Cabal → Used to refer to Jews as a group. Is connected to the conspiracy theory that Jews control everything/the media/governments/etc
Totally ____ Day or T_D → Total ____ Death... the word in the middle usually refers to which group they want dead, for example a total nice day refers to total [N-word] death and a totally kind day refers to total [K-word] death. Other examples include using a t word to refer to the slur for trans people, using a j word as another way to refer to Jews, using an f word to refer to the slur for homosexual people, using a b word as another way to refer to black people, using a c or r word as a way to refer to slurs for disabled people.
Ballpoint pen → A form of Holocaust denial in which Neo-Nazi’s claim that Anne Frank’s diary is a falsified or entirely fake document because “ballpoint pens didn’t exist at that time”.
Cultural marxism → Sometimes also appearing as Cultural Bolshevism, this antisemitic theory believes Jews are trying to overthrow “Western culture” and destroy “White America”.
New World Order or NWO → A conspiracy theory that believes tyrannical socialists are going to take over the world by terrorist attacks, pandemics, and other disasters to take away worldly freedoms with the collaboration of government officials.
Edit: Some of my friends pointed out I forgot some common ones so here are some more
4t0 → Shorthand for 4/20. Used for White Supremacists to identify each other. Presumably because 4/20 was the day Hitler was born.
Noticing Patterns → Often used in an antisemitic or racist way to imply that groups like Jews, Black folk, Hispanic Folk, etc are dangerous or fit into harmful stereotypes of the group
The Goyim Know or The Goyim Know, Shut it Down → References similar conspiracies to Elites/Globalist/Cabal. Implies that Jews are in control of everything and that non-jewish people have found out.
28 or BH → Blood and Honor. Refers to an international racist skinhead group that began in Great Britain
6 million → A dogwhistle referring to the amount of Jews that died in the Holocaust, usually making fun of Jews who died in the Holocaust or implying that it must be made up because it's such a high number
6MWE → An acronym standing for “Six Million Wasn’t Enough”, signifying that 6 million Jews being murdered in the Holocaust wasn’t enough.
Some Stereotypes of ethnic/ racial groups to watch out for that aren't necessarily dog whistles:
Stereotypes implying Indians are inherently more dirty or more likely to be rapists
Stereotypes implying Arabs are more likely to be homophobic and that it's just in their nature to be bigoted. Also Stereotypes about Arabs being dirty and being rapists
Stereotypes implying that Black people are animalistic or dumb or more likely to be violent or rapists
Stereotypes implying that Native Americans are all drunkards or that they are like nature spirits and inherently connected to the earth
Stereotypes implying that Eastern Asians are smarter and better at math then other people or that Eastern Asian women are more submissive than "Western" women
Stereotypes implying that Jews are more greedy or control everything or that Jews are more sickly or less human than other groups
Stereotypes implying that White people are more civilized than other groups of people or implying that they're the norm/ default of people
