I do think about how you’re doing and I just wanted to check in
You have to unsuspend a hold before a library book gets delivered - did you know that? You hold a book, and it’s suspended, and you continue to move up the waiting list but you have to manually unsuspend it to mark that you’re ready for it
Like the latter, the ones that swirl in my head and nibble and viscerally suck the life of me from the inside are the ones where I’ve hurt people. I’ve learnt or have had my therapist almost shout at me at times if only for emphasis and possibly frustration that hurting others is a natural and unavoidable part of life and that I am making my utmost attempt of avoiding the label of a big bad person by acknowledging the mistake, my role in it (the admission usually starts off as a solo act), and ideas and promises of how it’ll never ever happen again
While some eat to numb, I eat to distract. Dwelling in the caves of self-hatred, there are no crevices to miss and gloss over. You must go over them over and over again like a metal spoon on a ceramic plate
