I guess if I was expecting anything even remotely original from someone who catfishes, abuses minors, and just copies/pastes pandora hearts characters into her state oc’s (wow, such history!), you’re in for a bad time.   This is not the first time Katie (aka northofthecolumbia/westcoast.god.jp) has traced and it won’t be the last. This is a big warning for artists in the hetalia fandom, and game grumps fandom. Please watch your art, and if you see anything she makes uncanny to your art, give it a check. Chances are, as she’s done multiple times in the past, Katie will ignore you and play victim and use her alleged mental illness/otherkin bullshit/fake ancestry (she is not Native American) as an excuse for her shitty behavior. Katie also tends to delete her accounts and make new ones. This post will be updated if that ever develops. ((I really should have said something sooner, but I’m so sorry to everyone with whom I was RPing a few weeks ago, on this and all other characters. I didn’t mean to drop so many threads, but it ended up happening.

The reason for the sudden dropping off the face of active threads was that I was in the process of moving from San Francisco to Los Angeles. This became an all-consuming vortex! But now I’m mostly settled into my new place, and my commute to my new job is a short walk, so I should have some time again.

Please let me know if you’d like me to pick up on any of those older threads, even though most of them were kind of Christmas-specific. Or, if you’d rather not do those, let me know if you’re up for some other RP.

Also, for the sake of this blog more generally, now that I’m living in SoCal again, I expect to be back in Riverside far more often. Expect some more original photos and things again!))

((Tonight at 8 PM, there will be a benefit concert in memory of those lost in the 2 December 2015 San Bernardino mass shooting.

The program includes pieces of remembrance and of hope for orchestra and choir, from the Baroque to the contemporary. It features world premieres of an orchestral work by Lucas Richman and of a poem by Juan Delgado.

If you’re in the area, you have half an hour to get to San Bernardino Valley College if you’d like to hear this in person. If you’re not in the area or otherwise can’t make it, the whole thing will be webcast at the link above.))

But as quickly as his face lit up, it now scrunches into a scowl.

I dunno. Like, a decade ago, I was super freaked out that the recession was gonna stick around forever and I was gonna end up worse than San Bernardino has ever been? But I guess I’m feeling better about that now. I guess…I guess the thing that makes me most insecure is, like, being between all these big dudes that everyone outside of California have heard of, like L.A. and San Diego and even fuckin’ Orange County, and never being seen as anyone who’s his own damn city by anyone who’s not from around here. That shadow sucks, brah.

Totally water, then, brah. I mean, like, when my dad and his settlers first got here? One of the first really smart things they did was figure out how to make water from the river - which totally did have water then - move to where they needed it. Kinda needed to do that shit to make stuff grow in the desert! So, like, I guess I already did that a little, but it’d be sweet to do it some waterbendery way, you know? Especially with this drought!
