It's come to my attention as an admin that our time in Civilians has come to an end. All bios have been removed from the page to prevent plagiarism, and former members are asked not to recreate their characters outside the RP without the admin's explicit permission. Players are encouraged to continued roleplaying on their accounts, as I will be doing the same and am more than willing to continue writing with you all despite the RP being closed. I would like to thank you all for your endless dedication and commitment to Civilians; we wouldn't have lasted without you and it meant the world to see you all bring my characters to life in such a way. Maybe this seems a little rash or sudden, and I know people will be complaining that I didn't try hard enough or didn't give it enough time, but I think this really is where I draw the line at admining Civilians. I don't blame any of you guys — I think it was rather me being too lax on activity because you've all become dear friends to me. However, I'd be reopening far too many roles today for me to bother with trying to keep this going, as I've truly lost my drive and inspiration for this, and I truly apologise. Two revamps is enough for me, and I'm a tad tired of redoing everything repeatedly with the same outcome. A special apology to the lovely person whose app is in our inbox, I'm so sorry you put all that effort in for this to happen. We've had a good run y'all, and I encourage you to continue RPing if you feel the desire to, as I will be here and there, though I once again request that you don't recreate them outside this RP without my explicit permission. Thanks to all of you for being so amazing and sticking with me this long; I genuinely appreciate and love each and everyone one of y'all.

I've reposted all the bios and I'll start checking activity again tomorrow, so y'all have until then to get your characters up and running! I'm going to repost the task as well, as the RP went down before the deadline. For everyone who's staying over from before the revamp, please remember that I will no longer be personally contacting you about your activity. All tasks are mandatory and I'd love it if everyone could begin plotting again. If you have a second character, make sure you're being just as active on them as your first or I'll be forced to reopen them. Lastly, please consistently check your tracked tags — I feel like that's been a bit of an issue in the past. Happy roleplaying, y'all!

Alright everyone, I mulled it over with Kaylee and we've made a final decision of what to do: I'll be taking the next few days to remake graphics, revamp the theme, update bios and add a new twist to the plot. You'll all be allowed to keep your roles if you liked the post, but I will no longer be coming to you with personal activity checks. If you are inactive for 2 days after the revamp, you will be reopened and only allowed one chance to regain your role unless you have a very good reason for being inactive. If anyone has an issue with this, you know how to contact us.

I'm confused, why are you shutting down the RP if all your members are staying??

I'm trying to work that out. Many of the members who say they're staying haven't been very active lately so I'll be talking to some of them privately about that. This is all a bit confusing for me, and I'm currently trying to work it out.

I'm not sure about the Olson mun, as they're not going to be on a computer until tomorrow, but I am going to assume they'll be with us as well. We have one too many females, so I may message one of you later requesting that you drop a second character. We currently have 19 people staying. I'll post later about what this whole thing means.

After speaking with a few of you on the closing of Civilians, I've decided that if we have enough people, we'll keep it going as a small #x# roleplay with applications closed. Please like this by midnight tonight (EST) if you would like to stay so I can take down the bios of those who don't want to stay in order to prevent plagiarism. I won't begrudge those who don't like it, but I also won't be asking.

This may come as a shock to some of you guys, and perhaps less to others, but I feel like it's time to close Civilians. Activity has been considerably slower than I'd like it to be, and although I've tried to pad it a bit with events and tasks, it just seems like nothing is working. Some of you have been super loyal and active until the end, but unfortunately we can't run this RP without most of our members being active. Thank you so much to all of you for giving it such a good run — this RP lasted a solid month which, as we all know, is a long time in the RP world right now. I know we've all made some awesome friendships from this and that makes me so happy. Please keep in touch, and feel free to continue roleplaying as your characters, though I do ask that you do not recreate them outside of the RP (i.e. on indie blogs, OC roleplays, etc.) without my explicit permission, as their bios are still my original work! Love you guys, and I wish you the best of luck in your future endeavors both in roleplay and your lives.
