these two make me siiiiiick, affectionately. as someone who is aroace and on the autism spectrum, i'm unable to feel or experience romantic attraction at all. so relying on fandoms and their characters are usually my go to as a sort of placebo (which i have been told is normal. it's like learning by example, though i'm never going to feel it outside of said example) but these two? i have never felt this giddy over fictional characters EVER! they're so well written, they're not automatically flirting or conveniently in a situation where they are so close to having a kiss/intimate moment of any kind. this show was MADE for these characters. they're real, they're steady, and they're not the cliche will they won't they with any cliffhangers. they're just THEM. if that makes sense?? there's no pressure, there's no "oh many they were so close to kissing until someone walked in and they had to part" type of situation. it's just Morgan and Karadec, doing their job and getting to know each other. going through things and finding that they're not at odd ends like they started out. it's growth, it's slow burn, and it's real. and THAT is how you not only write a duo, but how you write a character. they're complete opposites that fit each other better than yin and yang ever could.

(also look at that image. i'm not pushing them into a ship or anything, i just think it's nice how he looks at her. not as a woman, a cleaning lady, or a potential love interest. but as an equal in her own way.)
