A return to Tumblr (?) ALT title: I ate 2 hot dogs
I can't make promises but while flicking through old post a smile appeared on my face. Perhaps devoting the occasional few minutes to this crazy Internet world unlocks creativity or joy. Or maybe it's a time suck that ruins lives. What are your thoughts dear followers? Today I worked a certain sports ball event in Indy that I can't name because of social media policies... My point, I ate two hot dogs, the big ball park kind... I told myself while doing it that I would regret it later but I did it anyway. When asked "why?" I replied my childhood go to food were hotdogs, and as a grown up I can't deny my inner child free hot dogs. Young Chris would be so disappointed in me, otherwise. After all, Young Chris once asked his teacher to phone mom because it was a "hot dog emergency".

is that you, cjhagan?
I love me some provolone ones too.
Hello followers, watch our new short film!
An ode to New England cat lady
I met a most interesting lady at Rhinehaus tonight. Yes, she was old. Yes, she was from New England and loved the Kennedys. Yes, she was a cat lady. She throughly enjoyed my philosophy of modern day republicans. Fact: I may have enraged other patrons with my liberalism. I laughed when younger woman questioned her sobriety, something as a Hagan I would never do of my elders. In any case, it was a fun conversation that I respectfully participated in even when folks my age and younger ridiculed. They missed out.
Early this week I spent six hours with the wonderful jjday10 at the ER while I experienced scary side effects of incredibly high blood pressure. Good news, nothing is damaged, I'll survive. Bad news, my eccentric all fried food, no veggie diet is now categorized as dangerous and irresponsible. Anyways, jjday10 is a wonderful friend. We had some great laughs while I waited for results.
A Horse with No Name
Sometimes I feel like I'm riding through the desert on a horse with no name... Like that song by the band "America". I'm not entirely sure what that song is about but I like to think it's a metaphor for a soul lacking purpose. Life is pretty stagnant for me right now... I need to name this horse and ride the fuck out of the desert. Perhaps I will call him Sidekick.
Cleaning Chemicals in Small Spaces
Friends, I've completed 40% of my mission to clean the apartment... in an hour. Sadly, I'm pretty sure I have scrubbing bubbles poisoning because I very much want to puke in this squeaky clean toilet. Perhaps spraying down everything first was not the best tactic for tackling this mountainous cleaning task. Lesson learned I suppose. Disturbing note: I filled my Dyson by vacuuming an 8x10' rug. WTF?!? Today's win: clean kitchen, bath and rug. Tomorrow's goal: laundry (both clean and dirty), piles of mail, trash and organizing all my film shit.
I'm in Vegas!
The only city I can not spend money on alcohol while getting free alcohol. I have a system folks. I'm way more drunk than a Cincinnati $20 would get me. Hashtag Working the System
Fucking majestic.

Chase the Impossible
Future spawn tip number 3 (?). Sometimes you're going to fail. That shouldn't stop you from trying because should you fail you'll pick your physically or figuratively bruised self back up and learn something new about yourself. Additionally, the impossible is usually only perceived to be impossible, should you succeed, there's nothing better than proving yourself wrong.
The art of making bad decisions
I think I may be an aficionado of bad decisions. I habitually make them and good friends are always there to call me a dumbass.... Self awareness is good right? I don't anticipate changing anytime soon.
Snapped this a week ago. Forgot to post it. #classicInstagram #latergram #love
Here it is, our next Fish in Glass Box film #filmmaking
I found it!
The source of the awful smell lurking in my apartment. It has been vanquished! Here's to a productive Saturday!
Absent
I feel like I haven't composed a tumble in a long time. Truth is film projects and friends are keeping me busy. Last week I tirelessly worked to complete a commercial TV spot that will air regionally. This was my directorial debut but I also handled all the post production and animation work. My passion is cinematography, which I'll stick to when filming narrative short and feature films but I'd gladly tackle another opportunity to direct a commercial. The client loved the results. Additionally, we made a short film. aquirkyspirit started editing yesterday, despite distractions from me watching 30 Rock, she managed to get a lot done. Loved seeing it come together. More editing tonight. Find Fish in Glass Box on Facebook
