Captured this gorgeousness while at camp Memorial Day weekend near Orlando, Florida. I’d never seen this flower before and had no clue what it was called. I did a reverse image search and hydrangea kept coming up, but I knew that wasn’t it. I asked a friend who has a botanist friend and he figured it out. It’a a Rose Glorybower, native to China. When I googled it, a bunch came up, but most of the images had half or parts of the flower missing. This one was in peak bloom, perfectly circled.
