Camp has been reinforced with fresh materials and a sparkling new look. The forest feels more lively than ever, with the gentle breeze and soft birdsong uplifting cats' spirits. Clanmates are gathering to discuss the day's activities, but some can't shake the feeling they're being watched...

Today I bring you a runaway to the stars style study! My background painting class assigned us to replicate the lineart style of a show, game, or comic and I chose to do rtts! I adore this comic and it was already pretty close to how I draw anyway so it was a perfect choice! I had a ton of fun and I personally think I did pretty good? Idk I like it either way!
If you’re curious this is the home of my centaur ishctil, a biing islander who’s trying to set up a radio station and more electricity to his island. There isn’t a whole ton of the biing islanders so a lot of this is speculation, but that’s what made it so fun tbh. Did you know if you turn the representation of the ring continent inside out it kind of looks like a centaur “fish” I thought that was pretty cool.

These are from the comic run away to the stars and god I love them so much. They take some getting used to when it comes to anatomy so some of these are really janky and off looking as I’m still learning how to draw them.
The last drawing is actually from April when we were required by law to make an oc and I just never shared them. They’ve got a story and brother now but that’s for another time
Lastly is house Oliath! They’ve also got house Raviis ability of being able to control when their spines are released! I think they’re my favorite out of all of them, even if they’re a nightmare to draw lol.

Third is house Ravii! They’re based off a typical cactus and can actually control when their spines are released instead of relying on gravity. They’ve got a bit of a crisis going on with their matriarch having been just recently killed by a sky wing attack and the position now being given to her very young daughter.

Second is house Whalecrest! The whale hunters and pirates from the north! They’re based off of those succulents with leaves that are flat and wide but still point at the end. They live farther away from the rest of the houses so their tail is more like a regular dragon, but still with their iconic ability to fling them like a weapon!

First up is House Trinita! If you’ve seen blepys hybrid grid challenge these dragons are inspired by Acantho! (With permission from the new owner ofc). These are based off of those plump spiny succulents but they can also be the smooth kind. They all have a spine at the end though.

Been working on a wings of fire au that’s 2000 years in the future and just had a really cool idea: Because the night wings and rain wings used to be one tribe they have a really strong bond between them even now when the night wings have been allowed to become their own independent tribe. Their time together and the strained gene pool the night wings started out with led to some interbreeding with the rain wings, not enough to become a new tribe, but some rain wing traits slowly got integrated into the night wing population. SO! This led me to the idea that night wings now resemble iguanas! And the rain wing genetics influenced them to have a dewlap like a lizard! This dewlap is slightly colorful showing what some call depictions of the sky, ranging from pure midnight black with stars, to a blues and purples for the dusk sky, and pinks and oranges like the dawn sunrise. The image is based on what the sky was like when the nightwing was born. It’s also not sex linked everyone has one.
I know I mainly post warrior cats here but this is my art account and I did infact do art for this!

Ok I know I’ve been radio silent for a while (I’ve got some more designs I sketched out that I’ll try and finish up for yall soon prommy)
BUT you know what would have been infinitely more interesting than fridging fogdrift chapter two: If instead fogdrift and stripestar had also been divorced for a while but while they were married they had a kid that stripestar was very involved in raising. And instead of fogdrift dying their kid is the one that dies, so we still get stripestar grieving, But Also personal drama with echodrift maybe blaming him for their death since he’s the one that insisted on the battle. Plus perhaps some drama with her perhaps refusing to forgive Galestar for it and being mad at stripestar for, in her eyes, very quickly moving on and already siding with the cat that killed their kit. And even more drama when stripestar and galestar become mates! With fogdrift being angry that he literally cat married her when she is still grieving. And there can be even more drama with this being the reason stripestar is so hesitant to stop searching for galestar because he’s already lost one kit he doesn’t want to loose even more! Like think about it that would be so good. Obviously sucks that they still gotta fridge a character, but no she cat mates immediately dying again and some really interesting personal drama that can stem from it now that fogdrift is still being alive.
Edit: I accidentally called her echodrift not fogdrift oops lol
