SARANYU IADCHUTHONG (ศรัณยู เอียดชูทอง)
Saran is the fourth member unveiled of the idol group, CLOUD9. He is one of three foreign members of the band, hailing from Thailand. Composed & collected, his confidence serves him well in the group. Proudly supports the maknae's thai tea enthusiasm.
Where is CLOUD9 based in?
Hopefully, I interpreted this question correctly (hAHA ;;)-- but CLOUD9 is based in South Korea, so essentially, they are a K-Pop idol group. c:
UPDATES!
- The format of CLOUD9′s story is still being decided. As of current, working out the idea of a social media-based narrative, where the story is controlled on Twitter, is the main aim. However, if this proves faulty for me to work out, it will go next to consideration of an actual visual novel game format.
- Currently powering through the members selfie reveals!
- Potentially, I will have time to soon work on their official information layout sheets that will document a lot more about them, so that you have a better idea behind the members!

We’ve added a music player our blog chock-filled with our favourite K-Pop songs to lighten the mood! Think of them as songs which CLOUD9′s music would sound fairly similar to- gives off the vibes! <3 In addition, we’ve also changed our blog theme, so feel free to check it out!
are the members based (appearance or personality wise) on any actual Korean idols?
Not really! They're all original designs with personalities that I'm still fleshing out so that they look realistic! ;0;
I can say for a fact that Se-In is actually partially based on me– in terms of just personality though, hehe. A real big goofball is what we both are!
What kinds of genres/music styles would CLOUD9's music sound like??
I'd say their group is really flexible with the styles that influence their music. If they had songs you could listen to, each track would be lit up with a different style every time. CLOUD9's pretty spontaneous with their approaches; they love to tackle new ideas & come up with something different!
Some examples I can provide of what their songs would sound like/are influenced by are hip-hop, R&B, pop (heck even bubblegum pop), definitely some songs that have some rock elements in it.

Oooh nice that you ask!
Pretty much all of CLOUD9 uses “he/him” pronouns. There is Jang-Woo, however, who’s comfortable with either “he/him” or “they/them”, so to say.
Is there an MC (main character) in this narrative story?
Well- the MC is more or less, you guys, and I mean-- all of you guys.
By participating in the interactive narrative & making choices on upcoming event polls (these will mostly take place on twitter), the final results will affect how the rest of the story plays off.
However, fun fact: me & a friend were talking about this, & we brought up the idea of CLOUD9 “fansonas”-- basically OCs (self-based or not) who are fans or followers of the group (maybe they don’t have to be fans either, they can just be familiar with them in some sort of way) & can definitely exist in the fictional CLOUD9 universe.
So if you’re adamant on creating an ‘MC’ of sorts, that’s definitely one thing you can do!
Do you mind elaborating on your "narrative concept" idea that will play off with the CLOUD9 story? btw I'm super interested in this idea and people should check this out regardless if they like kpop/idol groups or not!!! HAHAHA owo
Thank you so much! I’m glad what was intended to be a silly little concept for fun is garnering some attention!
Basically, CLOUD9′s story is a unique interactive narrative that is social media-based. This means that on places like CLOUD9′s official tumblr (here!), twitter, & instagram-- there will be “posts” or “tweets” coming from each member of the group.
Followers (& practically anyone who wants to participate!) have the opportunity to actually “communicate” with the members through their shared social media platforms (i.e. by asking them questions, simply saying things to them), & by doing so, the members will even “reply” to you in-character!
Most of those things come out of fun. However, I also planned that there will be very important event days where there will be polls held for all followers to vote on, & the final decision made through these polls will actually affect some parts of the story! :^)
So yeah, take it like a visual novel, except all of it happens in the palm of social media, where that is practically one of the only mediums you can use to “communicate” with the band! It’s a really unique format I’m going for & I’m hoping it’ll work out!

KIM JANG-WOO (김장우)
Jang-Woo, stage name Jet, is the third unveiled member of CLOUD9. His energetic being & tenacity suits him as the group’s lead rapper. However, he does have a bit of a playful side. He is one of the only members in the band who can speak fluent English (as he is born in America), & acts as the interpreter for the team.

LEE CHANG-HWAN (이창환)
Chang-Hwan is the second unveiled member of CLOUD9. Though he is commonly remarked for his stoic & intimidating look, he holds a genuine care towards the other group members, & gets flustered quite easily.
