Teddy Roosevelt where are you when we need you?
Ramble post. Feel free to skip
If anyone needs me. I will be laying on the floor. Thinking about the wedding in season 1 of Outlander. Where Jamie Fraser. Went out of his way. To make the wedding nice for Claire. They were getting married under less than ideal circumstances. But he made sure it was special. He had a ring made out of the key to his home for her (so she would know that it’s her home as well). He made sure she had a nice dress, and that he had his clan’s tartan. That they got married in a church. He did all that. And she didn’t even love him yet. But by god. He was falling for her, and he wanted to make it nice.
I think about this all the time. 😭

Wow! Talk about photorealism!
Wow that’s so good. Love her hair that way too. And look at those eyes. Perfect.

I was remembering S3 the moment Claire found out Jamie had kept all her clothes from Paris and him answering he can’t give away the memories of her. I couldn’t help but imagine him opening the chest now and then just to feel her close. 😭
Oh yes, anon.
Just remember - Jamie couldn’t bear to part with Claire’s old clothes. Whereas Frank just burned them.

Go Tell The Bees.....
Keen eyed British Outlander fans and readers of Diana Gabaldon's latest book may have spotted this Daily Mail Article
Royal beekeeper informs the Queen's bees that the monarch has died and King Charles is their new boss in bizarre tradition dating back centuries
The official Palace beekeeper, John Chapple - in an arcane tradition thought to date back centuries - has informed the hives kept in the grounds of Buckingham Palace and Clarence House of the Queen's death. And the bees have also been told, in hushed tones, that their new master is now King Charles III. Mr Chapple, 79, told MailOnline how he travelled to Buckingham Palace and Clarence House on Friday following news of The Queen's death to carry out the superstitious ritual.
Thank you for all you have done your majesty for our country and the commonwealth during your dedicated reign, rest in peace with your beloved husband.

THE QUEEN IS DEAD. LONG LIVE THE KING.....
By tradition, when the monarch dies, the successor immediately assumes the Crown
Our beloved Queen Elizabeth has passed away, but we have a new King. Charles III, by Grace of God, King.
Long may he reign. May he defend our laws, and ever give us cause, to sing with heart and voice, God save our King.
