Oliver was stood at the bar ordering drinks. He had already finished the champagne he had picked up on the way in. He stood eating a canope and sipping his beer. The waiter stood behind the bar seemed to be making any excuse to talk to the male and soon the males hand had touched Oliver’s hand before a napkin was slipped over the bar with he waiters number on. Soon enough, the waiter was called else where and the napkin was soon scrunched up in the males hand. While harmless flirting wasn’t something he was against, the idea of having another’s number when he had everything he needed in life was a step to far.

“Ooh, damn,” Claire chuckled. “That’s a hard pass, then, huh?” She’d found her way to the bar and quickly located a bottle of vodka she liked, ordering a few stiff drinks to take the edge off the fact that she was at an uncomfortably formal party with a whole lot of people she didn’t know. “Good on you for not letting on, though.”
