You woke up to the sun beaming across your face with light yellow hues accentuating your features. Your eyes fluttered open to see outside the window that has gleaming beams pouring into the large expanse of your bedroom, you smiling out of content at how beautiful this Sunday morning was.
As you tried to sit up, you feel a weight around your waist, pulling you closer to the figure behind you, surprising you just a little bit. The figure let out a whine of disapproval, wanting you as close to them as humanely possible. Turning your head to witness the young prince that as next to you, his hair all tousled up, face completely bare, you chuckle. Screw waking up.
You lay yourself back down, taking in the features of your sleeping lover, face clear of worry as he slept peacefully. He has perfectly shaped eyebrows, a little mole right in his chin, and soft plump lips that you loved to kiss so much. His hair was messy, and although you loved it when his hair was styled in an updo, the morning version of your lover was always your favorite.
You couldn’t help but simply stare at how beautiful he was. How his nose scrunched you slightly when he was dreaming about something, and how his lips were slightly parted as he lets out soft sighs in pure tranquility. You loved the way his arm always wrapped around your waist when you guys laid in bed together, and the soft kisses he pressed to your cheeks as he whispered “I love you.”
You get pulled out of your trance when you see him stirring, his eyes also fluttering open, only to be met with you looking back at him.
“Good morning darling. Did you sleep well?” he said in his usual raspy morning voice that you couldn’t get enough of. You only nod at him, not really responding to the question, and simply allowing yourself to get lost into his eyes.
“Like what you see?” he says cheekily, smiling back at you, before pulling you undeniably closer to him, faces in very close proximity to each other. When you don’t respond, he just smiles, before you feel his fingers dig into your sides, beginning to tickle you.
“Daehwi!” you yell, giggles getting emitted out of your mouth as the young prince continued to tickle you.
“Fine fine! Yes, I like what I see! Stop tickling me now!” you yell in surrender, stomach hurting from all the laughing you just let out.
“Good.” he says. You guys fall into a comfortable silence, before he whispers to you, “you know I love you right?”
You look back at your lover, eyes filled with stars and adoration, before responding with “yes I do. I love you too Lee Daehwi.”
