Welcome to LightningClan!

This is a blog dedicated to sharing the events of my clangen clan LightningClan, through writing and drawing key events in the clan. After a scandalous relationship between a medicine cat and a warrior was revealed, many cats joined the medicine cat in exile, leaving to skirmish in the clan. With StarClan's blessing, these cats made LightningClan, named after the lightning strike sent as a sign by their ancestors. But tensions between the clans grows, and a foreboding prophecy foretells war. Will LightningClan survive and garentee their lasting legacy? You'll have to find out.

Craneswoop has always stood firm with her beliefs and convictions, even when it goes against the warrior code. So when their wonderfully skilled and kind medicine cat was going to be exiled simply for being in love, she leaped to her defence. Her siblings, equally as passionate as her and ever loyal, joined her and their other clan mates in exile to form their own clan. She quickly proved to be the most hardworking and passionate warrior of the clan, if not a bit reckless and rash.

Fluffycloud has never cared much about rules and gone with the flow, so when discovering their own sister was going against the code for true love and self expression, it was completely normal to them. What wasn't normal to them was her being punished for a completely harmless act! Wanting to start with their littermates, they joined them and many of their clan mates in exile, forming their own clan with their own rules. Their down to earth and childish additude allows them to connect easier with kits, allowing them to impart lessons on even the most stubborn and detached young cats.

Amberdawn had kept her relationship a secret even from her littermates, so when her dirty laundry was aired out to the whole clan, he was just as shocked as everyone else. Though he felt hurt being lied to, the three siblings always stuck together no matter what. So when she was threatened with exile, he and Fluffycloud jumped to join her. With many of their clan mates, they left Hawkclan and made their own clan. Despite his greater than thou additude and stuck up behavior, he's unexpectedly insightful and great at finding compromises others may not have thought of before.

Whitesky didn't care about what the code said, she loved Greybadger with all her heart, and became his mate in secret. That was until their secret was revealed, barely flinching at the threat of being exiled. Many cats joined them in exile, forming LightningClan together with a sign from StarClan. Already a very skilled medicine cat, she was made LightningClan's first medicine cat. She cares not what others think of her, expressing herself with complete honesty, and doing whatever it takes to keep her clan safe, even if it means going against the grain.

Greybadger was in love with Whitesky for many many moons, despite their love being forbidden. They kept it a secret, until they were exiled from BuckClan, rather being forsaken by the clan than part. Many cats rallied behind them, and they made a new clan with StarClan's blessing. With LightningClan being built around Greybadger's love for Whitesky, and good friends with Thunderstar, it only made sense that he be deputy. He's just as loyal to his family as he is to his clan, and will fight to protect them, even at the cost of his life.

Thundertail use to be BuckClan's deputy, and was the first one to stand up for Whitesky and Greybadger when they were exiled, threatening to go with them if they were exiled. He was one of two cats killed by the lightning struck tree, but the second victim Grousepaw brought him back to life, granting him nine lives with StarClan and segmenting them as a new clan. He follows his own moral code over that of the warrior code, but still deeply respects StarClan, knowing they will have LightningClan's best interests at heart.
