Paying for gems isn't a bad thing

I always find that when I mention that I buy gems sometimes people either brag about ‘well ive made *insert stupidly large amount of gems here* and ive never bought gems ever!’ or ‘thats kind of a waste, you can earn them easily.’

That’s the thing though. Flight Rising lets you earn gems. FR freely lets gems be apart of the user economy without fuss, gems are easily given away too. They’re not stingy with how people can earn gems either. 

Staff has seriously earned my respect for this. Many other games won’t let you trade their premium currency, let you trade premium items, or anything like that. 

I happily pay for my games. I don’t earn much money, in fact I’m broke a lot of the time. But I don’t mind giving some of my extra cash to something I genuinely enjoy. Flight Rising has given me a lot of entertainment, so I don’t mind giving them 5 bucks every month or so. 

I will happily spend ~10 bucks at a movie theater for 2 hours of entertainment. Why is it a bad thing to give 5 bucks to the creators of a website that give me many more hours of entertainment?

Dragons who talk eccentrically with their wings like a person would talk with their hands. Dragons gesturing wildly, smacking their friends, using them to scratch their neck instead of just letting them sit rigidly at their sides like I know for a fact I have a habit of doing.

Let dragons use their wings goddamnit.
