“That’s… Actually kinda a good idea.” Moxxi leaned over the bar, raising an eyebrow at the unit. “Did you catch a virus or something, Claptrap? That might be the first good idea I’ve ever heard come out of you, and now I’m worried the world might be ending.” 

She sipped from her drink, her eyebrow still raised. “How come I never thought about doing that? I mean seriously, there are literally no casinos on Pandora.”

“Oh no, not a glitch, someone set my subroutines to what they were a little over 5 years ago! I came up with a lot of good ideas back then! Like helping roland and the gang open the first vault! ...Okay, bad example, but you get the point right?”

Claptrap scratched the top of his chassis and thought back to those days, strange though, he doesn’t remember much after the first vault opened...

“Oh well, if you take my advice I wish you luck Moxxi!”

“Well, maybe. The mental image is admittedly very amusing, especially with how some of these Vault Hunters drive.” Moxxi shrugged before looking down at the little robot, watching him… Flailing his arms at the ground? Well, he was a Claptrap unit. Part of Moxxi wanted to see if she could program one of the units to NOT be an aggravating cancer on her subconscious, but that would mean a visit out to the Windshear Wastes to scoop up a dead unit, which meant a LOT more work.

“Well, when you think about how many bars I own? Swimmingly. To be fair, I could probably retire tomorrow and live comfortably for decades.”

“I’ve seen how it goes in your bars, the vault hunters spend more on your slot machines than any of your patrons do! Odds are if you just shut down the bar part and made a casino you’d make enough to remake the underdome within a year!”

Claptrap prided himself on motivating others, and after seeing the underdome literally go under, he was sure bringing it up would make moxxi feel better about the whole ordeal.

Moxxi’s blood ran cold at the sound of the robotic voice coming from somewhere far below her line of sight– that Claptrap unit again. She bit down on a disappointed sigh before her eyes flickered down, locking onto the optic port on the diminutive robot before tilting her head.

“I’m not going to lie, Claptrap, the Scooter option is sounding pleasant right now. Think about it, the most distinctive hood ornament on Pandora.”

“As appealing as it sounds, that would also mean being rammed into a wall. Repeatedly! At least that’s what I remember from the conversation.”

Claptrap did the closest he could to a bow as a sign of respect to moxxi, given his lack of legs though, it just kinda looked like arm flailing while staring at the ground. He looked back up with his normally cheery disposition.

“I assume the bar business is going well? I noticed more people go in there now since you banned me.. for life.”
