686 | Summer studies = outside + fresh fruit. I only have two finals left and they’re both take-homes! I sat and watched all of the Barbri Corporations videos today and organized my notes into some semblance of an outline in preparation. I technically have a week and a half to do both exams, but my family is going to the beach at the end of the week so I am REALLY trying to turn them in as soon as possible so I can join the family fun times!! My lil baby niece and nephew are going to be there and they are the cutest things on this earth, so I’m excited :)

on today’s agenda are:

- outline my aristotle essay: this is essay 2/9 - we’ll have an exam for the aristotle module with two essay questions and i’m trying to come up with answers for potential questions

- send a mail to my prof with some questions: i submitted a paper for a conference and a journal and i’ve gotten positive comments back from two reviewers which is very exciting but also i have questions regarding their comments haha

- prepare the texts for tuesday’s reading group

25.01.2017 – Working on some dissertation reading for my proposal due mid-term. The Geography tripos at Cambridge requires you to submit a proposal, risk assessment and ethics form in your second year, (typically) conduct your research over the summer straddling second and third year, and analyse and write up your research in third year - super early compared to most other degrees here! But it’s something I’m so loving, and I’ve had two supervisions for my dissertation thus far, both of which have been exactly what I hoped for in Cambridge when I applied. V exciting!!
