Little Lost Blondie

Child!Kurapika x Child!Reader Summary: You were a child who just happened to meet a beautiful blond boy, lost in the woods and afraid. He's a stranger. How can you approach him in that state? What made your legs move on their own to look more into him? Note: This takes place after the Kurta's massacre.

It all started that night.

Gental winds blow upon your face, as if giving light kisses when you were walking alone in the dark forest. Little critters scattering around the grass, trees and lakes. It's loud but not as noisy as you may think. This reassures you that there wasn't anything to harm you.

But things can take a turn, into an unexpected path. You got crashed underneath by someone, fear may be the only thing you can think about.

"Who are you...?"

A voice, small and rough. Tired....maybe even exhausted. A language that you don't understand.

"P-Please, let me go...." you begged. Even a small tears comming out of your eyes.

It felt like forever when he finally got off of you. Taking this moment, you turn to look at his appearance.

This child seems to be the same age as you, but they're more roughed up. Dirts are all over their clothes, and many wounds seem to be found on their bodies. 'Are they a boy or a girl?' you couldn't help but think to yourself. Their hair seems to be very long and mainly covers their eyes.

As he began to walk away, you got up and grabbed his arm, which startled him. "A-Are you okay? Why are you dirty? Where's your mommy and daddy?" You circled him with questions, which got him confused. You were scared of him for a second, now you're asking him questions. The last part erks him. "That is none of your business!" he growls.

This made you more excited. "You're speaking! And I know what you are saying! Wow, you must be smart if you know two languages!"

This made him think you're crazy...

Almost making him feel like having a headache....

Till some bushes rustling made him stand guard, ready to attack with his weapon in his hand, and you behind him. Two adults with flashlights in their hands view you and the mysterious person.

"Momma! Daddy!" You rushed to hug your mom. She hugs back, grasping you tightly, feeling relieved that you're alive and safe. You can sense how worried she is for you, and your dad's stare, which was tensed before, but now softens

You never noticed that the mysterious stranger had left.

That morning, you returned to the forest to find that the stranger wasn't easy to find; you searched high and low for them. Your parents don't know why you were going through, and neither do you. They don't want to repeat the situation where you got lost; you allowed them to place a tracker in your shoes.

You seem to manage to find them, but it may be the other way round when they suddenly appear and walk straight to you.

"What do you want? Are you looking for me? WHY?" They seemed annoyed, rather mad. Maybe because he couldn't hide from you anymore, because the alarms that they made kept ringing, with you constantly tripping and shaking the ropes. Animals are harder to hunt because you would sometimes call for them, either 'mud guy' or 'blondie'.

"Sorry! Sorry!" You quickly apologised, then lifted a cloth wrapped in a box. "This...is for you."

They touched it with their bokken, more like tapping it. "What is it?"

"A lunch box!"

They looked at you with full of questions, that may have been involved with the word 'trap', but decided to ask, "Why?"

"Oh...well, I want to get to know you, and a way for that is food! And Mommy said, a way to a person's heart is to their stomach!" you innocently told them.

"What...?"

This is repeated several days til you manage to get his name, Kurapika and finally discover what gender he belongs to.

"You're quite pretty for a boy."

You bluntly told him to his face, and it affected him. His face was turning red, and he lectured you not call him 'pretty', embarrassed and flustered.

"Why would you say that!!"

"I'm not pretty or cute!!!"

"Stop looking at me!!"

Acting like an actual child...

But you can't stand seeing him dirty every time you visit him.

So you tried to drag him back to your place....did it go well? Of course...

NOT!!!

"PLEASE!!! Come home with me!!!" You tried dragging him along. But his grip sank in the tree.

"NO!!! I'm not going anywhere with you!"

You were stubborn and determined to take him back to your camping truck. Because of this situation, your grips were slipping and thrown back, then you hit a tree.

Something is warm, spreading behind your back. You can hear voices of concern from Kurapika.... 'Why...?'

You lost consciousness after that...

All bad things can be turned to good. You managed to get Kurapika to go home with you, but he was the one who brought you there. Like a knight to the rescue!

But you have to stay in bed to recover from the head injury. Your mom took Kurapika in, got him all cleaned up, fresh like a daisy.

You see him crying over things that are considered trivial. Eating normal food, sleeping on beds and being cared for. Seeing him like this, you couldn't help but smile at his expression.

The reason for his stay...was because of guilt for getting you injured. Even though it was your own fault, he felt partly to blame.

"Please, let me take responsibility for your child! I'll take good care of them!" Kurapika pleaded.

You can see how your father's expression turned pale. While your mother chuckles happily and excitedly.

Looks like we have a new family member.

We were children...what do you expect us to say?

Chapter 2

Summary: You have entered the ship that will take you to the Hunter Exam. But some problems are comming up...better let it go with the flow... WordCount: 3K

You climbed up on the ship's top tower to take in the sights of the sea. You can see everything from down below, as some of the participants were busy attending to their own affairs; either talking, cleaning their weapons, or sleeping on the boat. Some seem to be having trouble standing still and getting seasick through this calm ride. 

You notice Gon trying to fish at the ship’s edge. Waving your finger and forming a shape in the water of the sea to splash onto him. You heard some giggles from him as he turned to look around, knowing that it was from you.

Unknowingly to you, the captain of the ship may have noticed, as he stared up at you. He touched his beard and looked at the other candidates. “Looks like we might have an interesting person on this ship.

A small crowd forms on the ship, and Katso’s using the candidate’s dagger to provoke him. This candidate needs to be taught a lesson for trying to cut the rope of the ship. And that’s what draws the attention, feeling excited about the fight that is happening.

“Enough, Katso!” The captain’s voice held some authority over the sailors and the candidates, and with that, many have stopped what they were doing and turned to him. The captain turned to the candidate, who was getting provoked, “Get off.”

The candidates seem confused for a moment.

Seeing this, the captain has to repeat himself, “Get off this ship.”

“W-What did you say?”

Understanding that he couldn’t take a hint, the two muscular men came to his sides, picked him up. The candidate tries to protest against their actions, but it doesn’t seem like they would listen to reasons and threw him off the ship, into the cold and wide oceans. You can see one of them throw a lifesaver ring. Ruthless, but wouldn’t consider them as heartless as they can be…probably.

“You are on my ship, and you all will obey my rules!” The captain’s voice rings into each ear of the candidates, “If I don’t like you. I’ll throw you overboard! Keep that in mind!”

“Humph. We’re paying customers.” Leorio murrers to himself.

“I think it’s a reasonable account.”

Leorio was surprised by your voice, as it seemed like you had appeared next to him, “Don’t scare me like that! Planning to give me a heart attack, are we!”

“Are you seriously that easy? I guess I shouldn’t do that to someone of your age.”

“DO YOU WANT A FIGHT?! I’M NOT THAT OLD!”

“Hard to believe.”

“WHY YOU LITTLE BRAT!!”

“Frowning will gain you more wrinkles~”

“ALRIGHT THAT’S IT!!!” You see Leorio launching himself on an attack upon you; dodging him was easy.

“Whoa! What happened to ‘I don’t fight girls?’”

“YOU ARE AN EXCEPTION!” Despite saying that, it doesn’t seem he put more force into it; he is a man of his words, almost gaining your respect….key word almost!

“LOWER THE SAILS, BOYS!” Hearing the command from the captain, the little ‘fight’ between you and Leorio. As all the sailors began to work and follow the captain’s orders to prepare themselves for an upcoming storm. Leorio seems amazed at how the sailors would work so diligently, scattering all over the place, understanding how to work around the ship’s sails.

“Wha-ACK!!!”

You turned to see that Leorio’s face was kissed by the bucket. All its parts were scattered, Kurapika dodged in ease, only the ring was left on Leorio, it took five seconds to progress that moment, til you broke that silence before exploring to laughter. Such a comedian! Bracing yourself on your stomach, feeling the pain from that moment, “OMG, WHAT A LEGEND! HAHAHAHA!”

Leorio didn’t stop to think about scolding you, telling you to “STOP LAUGHING!” or “IT WASN’T FUNNY!” or even, “YOU WANNA DIE, BRAT!!” 

You are definitely enjoying yourself more than you would have!

As the sea danced with the large and gloomy storm, hearing each splash going left to right, over and over again. Waves were rising, as a mountain of water was slamming the ship with thunderous force. 

You can feel the deck trembling under those forces, taste the rainwater and the humidity that has become moist in the air. Considering your surroundings and your body, separating the water from the clothes, all dry and clean. Then create a small barrier - a water barrier- so you can block the rainwater from sneaking into your clothes.

A glow came from the sails’ pole, shining bright purple within these dark and stormy seas. Attracting many of the candidates, surrounding it and questioning about its oddity. 

“St. Elmo’s fire.” The captain answered, which creates more questions for the others.

“That’s quite a fine name.” You murmur to yourself.

Kurapika walked into the front of the pole and explained, “A weather phenomenon caused by the spontaneous discharge of static electricity. From thunderclouds or electrified clouds towards objects below.”

“So, you have finally spoken up! Thanks for the encyclopedia explanation.” Leorio mocks him.

The captain continues, “As sailors, we have a saying that, if you see St Elmo’s fire, you won’t go home alive."

“Heh, good thing, I’m not a sailor,” Leorio states, making some of the sailors turn to him.  

“A huge storm is coming.” The captain warns. As all the candidates know that things will become serious, they have to stay on deck, find a safe spot, and fight whoever gets in their way.

Many of the candidates fell into seasickness as large waves crashed onto the ship, rocking it violently. None can hold their ground, sliding where the waves hit the ship. But there are a few individuals who manage to stay on float. Gon, who is balancing on a barrow, is fine and has no complaints from him. Kurapika seems to be taking a nap on a hammock, ignoring all the cries from the other candidates. Leorio is sitting on the ground while eating an apple, balancing on the rocking ship by using the physics of his weight, so he wouldn’t slide off. You have decided to try using water magic to make yourself float a little on the deck; it’s like creating a water floor for yourself.

Time flows quickly, as things are beginning to calm themselves, but most of the candidates would be considered ‘dropouts’.

“Tell me your four’s names.” The captain’s voice calls out.

“You want to know my name?!” Leorio questions.

“That’s what I said.” 

Gon turns to the captain after helping a fellow candidate. “My name is Gon!”

Kurapike straightened up on the hammock to answer, “I’m Kurapika.”

“(Name),” you answer without hesitation.

Seeing that they have answered the captain, Leorio doesn’t have a choice but to chime in, 

“And…I’m Leorio.”

“Now…why do you want to be Hunters?” the captain continues to question the applicants. There is some intensity within his eyes, as if whatever the answer was given better satisfied him.

Leorio frowns, then accuses him, “Why do we need to tell you anything! You’re just here to steer the ship.”

“Leorio, chill out. The man just wanted some answers from us. Not like that’s a bad thing at all,” you butted in on the conversation to protect the captain.

“You zip it, brat!”

“(Name) is right! I wanted to become a Hunter because my dad is one! I wanted to see what it's like!” Gon steps in, gives full confidence and pride towards his answer. You can feel the overall glow from that sunshine.

Leorio is clearly being ticked off by the interruptions. “Wait your turn! I’m still talking to this old man.” 

“Gon is just giving him his reason to be a Hunter. Not like he’s breaking any rules.” You defended Gon before he could do that himself.

“Well, I don’t want to tell him anything!” Leorio seems to have snapped a bit. “Look, I don’t have to do what he says; I would rather stand up for myself. That means never to allow anyone to boss me around.”

“I have to agree with you, Leorio.” Kurapika has spoken up, gaining their attention. As he got off his hammock.

“Hey, you…how old do you think you are? Don’t act as if you know me!”

As the two candidates decide to have a conflict between them. You turn to the captain, “I’m going through the Hunter exam to look after Gon.” Then sneakily whisper into his ear, “but mainly for my enlightenment.”

The captain looked quite dumbfounded by your answer, “You don’t have a proper reason to be a Hunter at all?”

“Well, I have heard that they can access secret websites and travel anywhere around the world—a remarkably efficient system for giving away free things. I don’t know much of this world other than Whale Island,” you spoke cheerfully.

‘Either this girl lived in a spoiled and easy life, or she’s not from here,’ the captain thought to himself, judging you from your personality or…your weird powers to control water…

He turned to the other two, who hadn’t given him any sort of answers towards their goal to become a Hunter. Busy squabbling with each other. The captain has to break their thoughts, 

“Get off my ship if you don’t have anything to say about my question,” he exhales out his cigar. “Don’t get it? The Hunter Exam has already begun, since the moment you stepped onto this ship.”

Such intensity, as the remaining candidates were notified about the exam. As the captain explains, the reason for the “proctors having no time to examine the candidate” is that they have someone like himself to be hired to screen the applicants. He can report the candidates to be either committee or disqualified.

“Geez…if you have to put it that way. I guess I have no choice but to answer then.” Leorio has to give up his petty squabble and give the captain his reason to be a hunter.

But I didn’t seem like Kurapika would give him a break and cut him off to answer first, “I am the only sole survivor of the Kurta Clan.”

“OI! I’m trying to talk here!” Leorio stated clearly.

“I want to become a Blacklist Hunter, to capture the convicts who have bounties on their heads.”

“The reason for that?” the captain has to ask.

“Four years ago, all of my brethren were massacred by the gang that called themselves The Phantom Troupe! I am determined to capture them. For that reason…”

This gang sure knows how to pick a name for themselves. You nod to yourself as you gather intel from this situation.

“You wanted to be a hunter?” The captain saw the sincerity in his eyes. “All members of the Phantom Trope are on the most wanted list. Even the most experienced Hunter hesitates. You may end up dying in vain.”

“I’m not afraid of dying. The worst fear I have is that my anger will fade away.”

And that’s how we know that we have a reckless fool here. 

The captain sighs and intently gives up, “I see.”

Leorio seem to not give a damn about Kurapika’s situation, “Don’t give me that important crap! If you want revenge, you don’t have to be a Hunter.”

“Don’t knock it if you haven’t tried it, Leorio.” You comment on it.

“Don’t you give me that!”

“There are places and information that only Hunters are allowed to access, and actions you are allowed to take, only as a Hunter, Leorio.” Kurapika has to further explain like a lecturing teacher to Leorio.

“It’s Mr Leorio to you!” 

You can see the erk marked of his forehead, moving Gon quietly away from this cat fight. A young child shouldn’t watch this type of fight.

The captain has to break up the fight with a topic: “Well, what is your motive to be a Hunter, Mr Leorio?”

“Mine? I’m going to put this bluntly. Money! When I become a Hunter, I’ll make lots of money! If I have money, I can get anything! A mansion! A car! Expensive liquor, even women!” Leorio seems to be in a state of having a kind of fantasy that you wouldn't want to look into.

You may want to hit him for his answer when he is in that state.

Gon seem to sense some danger coming from you. Too late for him to stop you when you threw a pebble at Leorio.

“YA-OUCH-” Leorio glares at you, acting innocent like you haven’t done anything to him. But there is something else when your facial expression is in that state. Like a deep understanding of ‘Try me, Bastard!’

“You can’t buy class, Leorio.” With Kurapike’s comment, he manages to break the small tension. Then turn it into a flame for boiling water on Leorio’s water temperature.

“This is the third time. Let’s go outside, I guess the dirty Kurta Clan’s mam doesn’t know about courtesy.”

There is a shift with Kurapika’s expression, “You'd better take that back, Leorio.”

“It’s Mr Leorio.”

The two walked out, leaving the rest seemingly concerned and amused by this scenario. The captain tries to call them back, but it seems their pride covers every noise to focus on one thing alone.

“It’s better to leave them alone. ‘If you want to know someone, know what makes them angry.’ That’s one of the things that Aunt Mito taught me, and I believe it’s true.” Gon comforts the captain.

“What Miss Mito said is right. Better not stick our nose in someone else’s business.” You added.

Gon gave a cheeky smile at you, and you returned the same. A sense of agreement between the two is always something special with loved ones.

You would leave the two to fight things over, but it doesn’t stop you from gaining an interest towards their fight. As you walk out to see what is happening on the deck, Katso almost bumped into you; dodging him isn’t too hard. He seems to be in a rush for something, torn between seeing the fight or seeing what is going on with Katso.

You quickly made up your mind to follow that man, to see what was up. Better off looking into this type of mystery when a man is rushing into something that seems important.

Following Katso, you found yourself on the deck, pouring in the rain. While Katso is climbing on the ship’s tower to fix the broken rope, the same place where you were enjoying the view. A very risky move, especially in this type of storm.

BOOM! CRACK! CRASH!

A thunderbolt hit the tower, causing Katso to fall off. All the people on the deck saw this, Kurapika and Leorio had to drop their fight to rush to rescue him. Life is considered precious; a sense of humanity brought them out of their argument. Gon also rushed to help out, as the two who couldn’t reach Katso, Gon jumped out of the deck to hold onto his legs. By that point, you used your power to hold the ship to lean a bit for Kurapika and Leorio to grab hold of Gon. As you also hold on to Leorio for extra security, since he is holding Kurapika, and Gon is being held by him. “Thank you…you saved my life.” Katso gave his gratitude.

“Gon…you are a reckless fool…” You mutter to him.

“ENOUGH GAWKING AND PULL US UP, (NAME)!!” Leorio ordered.

“ALRIGHT! No need to be mad over it!” 

You pulled them to safety, everyone is safe, and no one is hurt.

The sailors seem to be fixing up the ship, and you quietly dry up Leorio’s clothes. Having this grown man be in his underwear is awkward enough, when he doesn’t seem to show any shame about it. You’re quite glad that the other two brought extra clothes. You should have done the same, but you already easily dried them with magic.

“What (Name) said before, that was so reckless!” Leorio is too busy scolding Gon.

“Very reckless.” Kurapika agreed with him.

“If we haven’t grabbed you in time, you’ll be a goner too!”

“But you caught me, didn’t you?” Gon doesn’t seem worried about his situation. This caused the two men look dumbfounded by his words. 

You didn't seem phased by him, “Gon, just because they managed to catch you in time doesn’t mean that there won’t be a possibility that they couldn’t do that in time.”

“But I have you to save me, don’t I?” Gone stated.

You can feel your face tinted red by those reassuring words, “What am I doing, trying to convince this bright child?” you murmur to yourself, but still show a smile to him. “Yeah, yeah. You have no worries when I’m here!”

Seeing the two getting along so well. Kurapika and Leorio faced eachother feeling a bit childish from their previous action.

“I’m sorry, Mr Leorio.” Kurapika began to apologise.

“Hey…don’t be so square. Just call me Leorio, Kurapika. Let me apologise too” Leorio feels a bit embarrassed. With a serious look, he stated, “I take back everything I said about you and your people.”

With that, Kurapika may think differently of this man. He seems glad to meet these people, who are not what he thought they were before getting on the ship.

“Hahaha! The four of you have passed the trial!” The captain annouced causing the candidates to turn their attention to him.

“Are you serious?” Leorio asked for confirmation.

The captain answered sincerely, “Yep, I’ll take you to the Dolle Island.”

“Yippee! But can this scrap make it without sinking?” Leorio further question him.

“Who are you calling this ship a scrap! Of course, it will.” The captain answered with confidence before turning to you. “With a little help from this little lady,” this confused Kurapika and Leorio.

You sweatdropped from getting called out by this situation, but you can’t complain. As the clouds were clearing up, you went to the rebuilt tower and sat there. To help the ship have a safe trip to the next Island.

“Huh? Are my clothes already dry? But how? The sun has barely come in.” You heard Leorio’s confusion and silently laughed at his goofy confusion.

What a day!

Chapter 1

You've been in this world for a year, learning that even though the words here don't seem familiar, you were able to read them, thanks to Fake Michael. Gon is quite a bright kid and very hard-working, but he seems to be a bit naive. His heart is in the right place whenever he makes a decision on

Kite, on the other hand, is someone who has great skills and a great teacher, but he's still a very secretive man. You've learned some swordplay with him. But you mostly have to learn through your own strategies to understand his movement, to see what the common skills for swordplay would be or what rare skills would play out. Living under Gon's Aunt Mito, she really is like a mother figure. But she can get very scary when she's mad. You would have stayed in my cottage, but living where there are people would be a much better choice. "I might go crazy without socialising..." You told yourself that.

Suddenly, Gon burst into your room and got you to straighten up from your bed. "(Name), I finally caught the 'Master of the Swamp'!" This bright young child....

"Gon! You should not burst into a lady's room! Have you forgotten Miss Mito's words?" You scold him, but you secretly are thrilled that he managed to catch that enormous fish, this young. Gon rudded the back of his head and chuckles a bit, "I know...but I was so excited to tell you the news. Now Aunt Mito will finally allow me to go to the hunter exam!" 'Right...the hunter exam...' you thought to yourself. Half expecting that it would be a written exam, but Gon isn't that smart to begin with, so you have to second-guess it on what it is... Which is why you decided to come with him out of your own curiosity concern for the child.

"I'll be going out to get some supplies. I'll see you at the dock, Gon." You wore the outfit that was a gift from an 'old friend'. You have your sword and a book for your travels, but no food, which is why you are getting some from the street shops.

"Sure! I'll see you there!" He waved you with that happy smile of his, which shines so brightly...you have to quickly leave before you get sunburned.

"Get your fresh fish here!"

"Apples! Apples! They are on sale today!"

"Come and check out some good meats!"

The streets are busy, you've managed to buy some apples and ointment for the trip, but you still feel like getting more things. As you kept exploring, a familiar scent caught your attention, which led you to that restaurant.

Curry....

"Ah! Little lady, sorry, but most of the tables are full. You won't mind sharing a table?" That waitress said with a friendly tone.

In response, "Yeah, I don't mind."

They guided you to a blond man's table. As he was waiting for his food, he turned and saw you.

"Sir, you won't mind letting this girl share a table with you." The waitress calls out.

A small phase before he spoke, "I don't see the problem with that," granting that permission.

You sat down on the chair and quickly ordered curry from the waitress before turning back to this man. "You don't seem to live around here; that's a given fact. Do you mind if I get to know your name?"

He looked at you for a bit, scanning to see if you were a threat or not. "Kurapika..." Then he asks, "It's fair if I can get your name."

"Oh! Yeah, I guess that is fair. I'm (Name).” You pulled your hand out, expecting to have a handshake. He complied with it, grasping his hand against yours and shaking it. You blurted out, “Are you also going to the Hunter exam?”

He seemed surprised, “Yes. I guess you’re going there too. What gave it away?”

“The timing…and maybe just guessing on it.” You replied. 

Foods is brought into your table, while Kurapika keeps his manners clean as he eats. You wolfed your curry down, then order seconds. Ignoring the stares from Kurapika, who may see you as an oddball.

A waitress is delivering Kurapika's drink, then saw a spider. "A POSIONOUS SPIDER!” he called out in fear, as it crawls near Kurapika’s hands.

Before he could do anything, “Abrasive Jet 1” you murmur. A small water bead form and shot the spider away. Kurapika may have heard it, as he turned to face you in shocked, while you still eat your curry.

After that little incident at the restaurant. You and Kurapike are walking towards the dock to get the ship which leads to the Hunter Exam.

While Kurapika is sitting down near the ship’s pole. You are still waiting for Gon to arrive, but the sun is setting and he’s not here. You became a bit worried about his odd absence, because he is the kind of child who never lies about his goal.

The captain calls out, “This ship is leaving now! We aren’t going to wait for any longer!” 

All the sailors are moving around getting ready for the sails and to leave Whales Island. No signs of Gon yet-

“WAIT!!!” “COME BACK HERE!!” Two voices are heard from the island, one particularly loud voice sounds so familiar to you…Gon?

You saw him with an old man running towards the ship that was leaving. The captain of the ship is not going to come back or wait for them.

Prologue

You woke up in a rough-looking "bed", then you slowly raised yourself to see what was out of the window as the sun shone upon your face. Refreshed air rushes through your nostrils as you engulf yourself in the sun and take a good look around your surroundings. It's all trees and grass for what you can see, but no human settlers...well, except for yourself. "It looks like I have reincarnated, just as Fake Michael has said." You told yourself, as you turned to see a small river. You walked over there to see your reflection- "What the?!" You grasped upon looking at yourself....you definitely remember being in your 20s, but you suddenly become a 16. "Is this one of Fake Michael's gifts, or is this an accident?" Accident or not, you're not complaining, it's great to be young...darn, you sound like an elderly person... Lifting yourself up, then with your hand, thinking back to "Fake Michael" giving you the ability to make water appear. "Water, come forth." Water came as it floats, then swirls around, forming into a circular shape and spins around...then it soaked my hand. You try many different names that have the same meaning as 'water', learning that you don't need to vocalise it. Which is great, but... "Incantation is much cooler." You feel a bit disappointed, but it doesn't mean you couldn't pretend to do something like that.

Summary: Kurapika is going to the nighttime routine to take care of his newborn.

Kurapika yawned as he stretched his arms and saw the clock struck at 1 p.m. He tied his hair up and wore his slippers, getting ready for another eventful night with his newborn baby. He felt a rustle under the blankets and saw you start a movement to go to the nursery and comfort the crying newborn.

He gently held your arms before placing you back to bed. “It’s alright, love. I’ll take care of our baby,” he muttered, before kissing your forehead as your eyelids drooped and went back to sleep.

Once he got you to sleep he went to nursery, on his way there he grabbed his baby his supplies. As soon he walks into the nursery, the newborn’s soft whimpers turn into a full-on wail, as their eyes flash red. As he came closer to the crib he was greeted by his newborn’s tiny fists waving in the air and his scrunched-up, tear-streaked face.

“Shhh, it’s ok. Daddy’s here.” He whispered, his voice soothing despite his tiredness. He leaned over the crib, scooping him up with much love and gentleness in his embrace. He went to the changing table to inspect the diaper, he cleaned his baby and held him close as he placed his finger in his tiny hands. “You’re probably feeling much better, aren’t you.”

The newborn stopped wailing and only a softened sniffle came out of their tiny mouth. Kurapike heard the beeping noise of his baby’s bottle all warmed up. He checked the temperature before settling himself in the rocking chair, cradling his newborn close as he offered the warm milk. The baby latched on eagerly, their tiny little hands resting against his.

Kurapika chuckled at their little action, the baby’s big marble eyes blinked at his dad, their glazed are filled with trust and contentment. “You know,” He whispered, his voice soft, “Except your mom, you’re the best thing that’s ever happened to me.”

Once the bottle was empty, Kurapika lifted him to his shoulder, patting their back with rhythmic taps. His baby finally managed to let out a small burp, followed by a contented sign.

“Good job, little one.” He cheered, pressing an Eskimo kiss against his baby before kissing them on their forehead. Kurapika uses the rocking chair to softly rock them to sleep.

Once the baby was fully asleep, he carried them back to the crib. He laid them down carefully, adjusting their blanket and making sure that their favourite stuffed bear was within their reach. “Sweet dreams,” he whispered, brushing his finger against his hair.

He walks back to his shared room, opening the covers before slipping in with you. He wrapped his arms around your shoulder and pulled you close to feel your breath against his collarbone. 

He felt peace and completed his life. He’ll do everything in his power to protect you and his baby.

Each day has passed, and the fights have become even more aggressive. You kept your word when you said ‘eternity’. Every time he tries to talk to you, violence is the only response that is given to him. Sometimes, you would attack him or disappear as far away as possible from him.

When you were in your training area, you decided to go to the waterfall to do some ‘Takigyo’. To fix your mental health and clear your mind for the time being. You didn’t notice a certain pigtail coming to your area, taking each step closer and closer to you. Since the waterfall keeps your mind in peace, you never notice Ranma’s presence here. He was just staring at you for a few minutes in his girl form (because of the waterfall causing him to transform).

Once you open your eyes and see your enemy, you want to attack him but slip in the water. Ranma reacted fast and got you out, placing you on shore to keep you safe. “Hey. Hey! You ok?” Ranma’s pitched voice contains concern. You cough out some of the water that is in your throat. “Oh, good you’re still alive.” she sighs in relief.

Ranma running for his life to get away from a certain Chinese girl, not Shampoo. It’s just you! Hitting him with every attack you got while he dodged them. “Ranma, no run! Fight [Y/N]!” Just like Shampoo, having poor communication but understandable words.

“Give me a break, [Y/N!” Ranma pitched voice, cried out. Two hours of running and chasing; destroying walls, objects and almost hitting innocent people.

Ranma found some hot water to change back into a man. He flinched when you appeared, “Oh? Boy-Ranma! Good to see you.” You held out your hands to help him get up, which he accepted knowing that you’re his friend in his boy version.

“Looks like [Y/N] needs a break before chasing Girl-Ranma.” Your dark voice caused Ranma to shiver in fear, not because he was afraid of you but because he felt like betraying your trust.

You guys have been friends for over a few months. It only started out becoming enemies when you were training and Ranma interrupted many times, to your breaking point you challenged him in a battle. “So, that’s what has been happening?” Akane deadpanned Ranma for deceiving you. “How long have you been doing this?” Akane has a tick mark on her head, she looks calm but you can tell that she’s going to explode any moment.

“Listen Akane! It’s not like I want to keep on lying to her, she’ll probably chase me just like Shampoo if she finds out.” Ranma looks troubled but for some reason, he doesn’t seem to feel troubled at all.

“Why do I get a feeling that I don’t believe that!” She yelled at him. Akane’s hunches were right, she had known Ranma for months and she knew that he didn’t feel like his situation was a problem at all. “D-does it sound as bad as you think.” Akane stuttered, feeling a bit lost here in front of Ranma.

“Well...I don’t know. I’m not sure what to do.” Ranma stressed and struggled to deal with his situation.

“Ranma!” Shampoo bust in and pounce at him, leaving her delivery to Kasumi. Hugging him with full affection to gain his attention. Which she did, when he tried to get Shampoo off of him while Akane scolded him for being a jerk.

Then Ranme swiftly disappeared out there grasp and their sight.

“Ranma is a big playboy,” you called out. He started to argue with you stating that it’s not what you think. Which creates a game of tag between you two. Til the point where the sun has set.”[Y/N]’s house is close. Want to eat her cooking, Ranma?” you offer.

“Sure! Free food it is!” he agreed easily with an ego tone, which made you sweatdropped at him. Just when you guys got closer to your place, you heard a slash come from before which made you turn around.

“Girl-Ranma!” you shouted in anger. You got out weapons and began to fight her. Out in the corner Ryoga, holding a bucket which is a bit wet. You can see him whistling like he did nothing wrong but having an average day.

You saw how tired he is when he gets back home and goes back to his office to do some paperwork in his computer. Most of the time he doesn’t go back to bed and rest. You wanted to help him somehow but how?

 “I think we should help Kurapika relax somehow…” you exclaim to Aki. You and Aki went out to buy something in the mall to gain ideas to solve your problem. You finish groceries and buy some more ingredients to make your famous tea for Kurapika.

“How would we be able to do that? He’s stubborn.” He pouted. He is helping you carry the groceries, and he’s toys that he beg you to buy.

“I know you want to help, don’t act like Killua as a tsundere.” You tease him. making Aki bust out steam and you can see how red he is. “I-I’M NOT!!!” he winced. You giggle and ruffle his head.

“You’re so cute!” you walk pass something that caught your eyes and walk backwards to take a closer look. “We’re buying that.” You rush in the store leaving a dumbfounded Aki.

“Buying what?” he looked at the shop stall and blushed. “STOP! COME BACK HERE!” he dropped the groceries and went inside to stop you.

You started to bake something bittersweet since Kurapika doesn’t like sweet much and you’ll be making your famous tea, but you will add something special on it. You also took some pictures of Aki in an apron, eating cream that was on his finger. He became a taste tester, sometimes he will make a disgusting face when he taste something bitter in his system. You will laugh it off and take pic because you find it cute. (And maybe you’ll show it to Kurapika)

“Oof, hot!” you took out some cookies off the oven.

“Careful!” Aki exclaim.

 Kurapika finally finish his bodyguard job, dealing with Neon was a handful. He open the door to his hotel room to see how dark it is. He was about to open up the lights until someone grabbed them and throw him into something soft like he is sitting on a cloud, in the living room. He tried to get up but something heavy push him down. He thought there was an intrude in the room, pushing him down but when he felt the heavy person, his size is like a child wearing something fluffy.

“Aki?” he asked. He tried to get a better look but it’s too dark. Until someone open the Transparent Christmas lights, all he saw was bear’s ears and two people in the room. He saw Aki buried his face in his chest, in a bear onesie. ‘Is he embarrass?’

Someone circle their arms on his back. “Hi~”

It was you in your bear onesie. Kurapika blushed a little from this scene. “W-what’s going on?” he asked nervously. Aki pointing at you. “She did this!” that made you laugh.

“‘We’ saw how tired you are, so…. we decide to make a little cute paradise for you.” You kissed his cheek. He felt his heart melted. You and Aki did this for him because you guys were worried about him and you did all this, this late?!

“NO! (Y/n)-niichan, did this. She was worried.” Aki pouted, sitting on Kurapika, glaring at you. You poke his cheek making him fall down on him.

“Aki has become a mini Killua. Cute right?” you asked him. All Kurapika did was nodded at your question, but then he remember something. He tried to get up but you pull him down. “Angel, I got something important to do.” He tried to get up again, but you just pull him harder with the help with Aki

“Don’t worry, I gave your boss a call and pay him to give you, less work and focus on your breaks with you get back home.” Both of them look at you with a shock expression. “YOU BRIDE HIM/THE BOSS?!” they exclaimed.

“Well… I didn’t ‘bribe’ him. I just gave him some services… I also will give him my service to take care of Neon.” You mutter the last part.

“Angel, you shouldn’t have done all that. This is my responsibility to avenge the Kurta clans. You shouldn’t have taken all my work away from me! What if they have any relate of the Phantom Troupe and connection of the Kurta eyes? What if-“ you stuff him a cookie in to his mouth, to make him shut up because you find it annoying.

“You talk too much. Listen, as your girlfriend, you’re my responsibility. Like Aki.” Aki yelled “Hey!” in the background. “Beside… I’ll looked at the paperwork to see if there are any connection. I don’t just jump and turn away from a blind eye to not notice your work. When it comes to my people, I’ll help. But you’re too stubborned to asked for help. Isn’t that right Aki?” you turned to Aki. He nodded really hard to confirm that you’re right. You took out some papers and gave it to Kurapika.

“Also don’t tell me nonsense that I already know, when I started dating you.” You hugged him close. “All I want you to do, is to relax…” Kurapika felt his face was about to tear up, but he wouldn’t let it.

He sighed and said, “Alright you win…thank you.” He muttered the last part, make you and Aki smiled at each other. “But you still should have involved yourself into my business.” Once he said that you huffed at him. “And where did you get the bear onesie?”

“Her fault! She brought it without thinking!” Aki accused you.

“Hey now, don’t act like you didn’t enjoy it Aki~” you teased. “I brought you that toy, so you have to wear it.”

“Hmph!!” he turned away from. It made you and Kurapika laugh.

The atmosphere was pleasant to Kurapika. It nice and warm, he doesn’t plan on leaving soon.

“Ugh…it’s ok! The groceries seem fine too.” The kid got up and dust himself, grabbed his groceries bag and started leaving. “Wait!” he turned to him and looked confuse.

“Really?! Do you mind showing me where she is?” the kid nodded and takes his hand to his house.

“Miss Neon, why are you here? Everyone else is worried about you! You need to notify us, if you are going to your friend’s house!” he busted at her, he was already stress with the worksheets that he was given.

While Kurapika was lecturing Neon, you slipped out their way and walk toward the kid. “Aki, you finish groceries shopping?”

Aki sparkled at his ‘sister’ and nodded his head. “Yep and I brought that guy to Neon-niisan” you took the bag and went to the kitchen to prepare dinner, with him. “You shouldn’t bring strangers home.”

“He’s not!”

“Oh?”

“I don’t know how to put this, but I felt some kind of similarity to him.” you looked at Aki and back to the blond man, then back it him. “Are you betraying me?” you gasped dramatically, making Aki panic. “ no, No, NO! Nothing like that!” you snicker when he waves his little arms at you.

You felt shadow hovering over the both of you, you turned and saw the blond boy. “Thank you for taking care of Miss Neon for me! I wasn’t sure, what will happen if no one takes care to her.”

“No big deal! She kinda like one of my cousins who’s spoiled. Also, she’s the one who came to me.” You pointed out.

He stay silent for a while and then chuckled at your statement. “I guess so, but I still thank you for taking care of her.” He bowed at you. You blush a little at his gestion, then you and the other went toward your exit door, once you guys are outside, your apartment. “I have to take Miss Neon back now.”

“Alright…wait.” You ran back to get something, while Neon was escort to the limo. You finally got back with a bottle in your hand. “Take this.” You threw the bottle at him, knowing that he will catch it. “You seem stress, so drink the tea inside the bottle to ease out your headache.”

“Take it, I’m serious. Geez, you’re almost like my boyfriend.” You claimed. He smiled at you then he felt as if he saw something shine in your apartment. It’s looks like it’s glowing bright red like the scarlet eyes, then it stop glowing, he tried to see what it was but the only thing he could make out is Aki.

‘Ugh, my head.’ I finally got back to finish my job as a bodyguard for Miss Neon, now I need to do paperwork. I still can’t forget the glow; it seem more like the scarlet eyes. ‘Aki’ the little boy always rings in my head. ‘Is he a Kurta?’ I want to go back there and to confirm if it’s true, but it’ll be rude to intrude their apartment.

I’m almost finished my paperwork, but my headache came back. I saw the bottle that was given to me, so I gave it a try. “It’s warm…” I felt the bottle that is still hot inside and taste it. I felt my whole body was warm and relax, in this cold weather.

“Hmm? My headache is gone.” I touched my head. I guess the tea did ease out my headache.

“Kurapika?” I turned and saw Melody. “You seemed happy.”

I looked at the bottle and smiled at her. “Yea, it does seem so…”

“Was it because of that girl, who was taking care of Miss Neon?” I felt a bit fluster, then I nodded at her. “I can tell when you stare at the bottle that she gave you. You like her, don’t you?” Melody tease a bit.

“I liked her?” I question myself. I felt my face red, but I calm down remembering what she told me “Geez, you’re almost like my boyfriend.”

“She already in a relationship with some else.” I told her. I felt my heart dropped on the ground and shatter, not knowing why. I silted my tea and felt a bit better.

 Six months has gone, you and Kurapika have become closer and almost realising that they have feeling for each other.

Kurapika went back researching to find the Phantom Troupe or look for more for the Kurta eyes. When he finally for another Kurta eyes, in an abandon building far away from town, him and his comrade drive towards the abandon building. They defeat (no killing) many guards that was in their way and find four Kurta eyes in different rooms.

They finally got to the last room. What they didn’t expect to be there is that there is a cage and someone familiar is in there. ‘Aki’ they thought.

“Get me out of here!” his eyes glow red. Kurapika knew it, that he suspect that Aki is Kurta, and he seems to be in trouble. Before could he hear something muffled behind him and saw his comrade being holding down by a bunch of people.

“Kurapika, what a pleasant surprise to see you here.” Kurapika turned and saw your boyfriend who is the mastermind of all this operation.

 In the car with Kurapika and his comrade, you were hold a sleepy a little boy, cuddling in your arms.

“(Y/n)?”

“Hmm?” you turned to Kurapika.

“Who are you?” he asked calmly.

“Me? Well, I guess I should tell you, since you and Aki came from the same place.” You looked at him with a sweet smile, no fakes, a real smile. And Kurapika knows. “I was a former assassin or a killing machine, which you could called that.”

“Why did you stop.” Kurapika was nervous if Aki should stay on your arm, but he still remain calm because he trust you.

“Let’s just say. Aki open my eyes a bit.” Everything suddenly felt comfortable, learning that you aren’t a threat to him or Aki. You were just moving on from your past. “How did you meet Aki? Is Aki really his name?”

“The first question, I won’t answer.” You held a bored face. “The second one; Aki is for short for Akimitsu, that’s what his mother told me…that’s when she died.” You mutter the last part, but he can still hear it.

 More months came by and your friendship with Kurapika, soon almost turned into a relationship but neither of you confessed. Aki tried many ways to get in Kurapika away from you, but it just draw you guys closer.

“Go away, Kurapika!” Aki throw a bit trauma at him, out on the door. “(Y/n)-niisan is MINE!!!!”

Kurapika’s friend came to help him, trying calm Aki down. “Kid, why are you like this?” Leorio asked. But all he states that you are his.

“Do you hate, Kurapika that much?” Killua question and giving Aki some attitude. “No, but I just don’t want him to take (Y/n)-niisan from me!!!” then he squealed when he felt someone pick him up, he turned and saw that it was you…

“Sorryforthewait. Comeinsideandmakeyourselfathome!” you speed walk inside with a fluster face. You made a fest for everyone to enjoyed. Once you all full, you and Kurapika are left alone while the others are busy playing with each other, you two enjoying each other presents. Outside your balcony, he pulled you closer and place his lips on yours.

“Sorry, I couldn’t help myself.” You can see how hot you and Kurapika’s faces. “I liked you for a while now. You are amazing, you’re strong and have confidence on what you are doing. You light up my heart and made me feel relax whenever that is a piece of you. So… will you be my-“ you cut him off by kissing him. He was shocked at first but slowly kissed back, holding your waist and head close to him while you circle your arms around his head.

The kissed soon turned into a make-out. “AHHHHH!!!!!” you and broke apart and saw Aki was the source of that scream, his eyes turned scarlet. He is standing there pointing at us, then he start crying. “Waaaa! Kurapika-niichan took my sister away from me!” he cried out and goes towards him and started hitting Kurapika on his leg (cause he’s small) while he is still crying. “You thief, you thief, you thief!” he repeated while crying, you tried calming him down.

You took Aki into your arms, trying to calm him down, rocking him to not cry and disturb the neighbours. “Hey, it’s ok. What do you mean by thief? Don’t cry!”

“Waaaa! You love me not him! Don’t take my sister away from me!”

“No, I’m not taking your sister away from you.” Kurapika tried to calm him down, but he started trying to hit him while you still holding him. “You love your sister as much as I do. I’ll take better care of her then (bf/n).”

“I know you will, but I still won’t let you take niisan away from me!”

“Hey…” you spoked gently that made Aki stop crying and turned to you. “I won’t leave you, like ever. Your stuck with me ever since you started to become my little brother.” He sniffed at your words and buried himself in your chest.

“Ok, but I still won’t accept him.” Aki pointed at him. “Hehe, you’re so cute but you will eventually.” You rubbed your face against him, he tried to get away but gave in and rubbed back.

Gon and Leorio looked happy for them while Killua looked like he is about to throw up upon this scene.

“Aki! Why don’t we have a sleepover, right now!” Gon yelled out. Aki look at him and nodded, you put him down and he started running out to Gon.

You got closer to Kurapika. “You wanna sleep with me?” you whisper in his ear with a teasing tone. You giggled at his flustered face, and he started to back away. “Just kidding.” And you started to leave.

You took the kids to the bathroom to get cleaned up for bed. “Are you sure, you don’t want me to join you.” You asked. Killua was fluster at your question, “No!” then he slam the bathroom door leaving a laughing you on your knees. “You’re so cute!”

“Baka, shut up! You old hag!”

“Alright, aright! I’ll go, Haha!”

You went back to your bedroom, and you saw Kurapika sitting on your King size bed. He notice you and close his book having his full attention on you. “Ah, you’re here.”

“Why are you on my bed?”

“You asked if I should sleep with you” he talked serious.

“That was a joke!” you exclaim.

“Well, I don’t think it’s a joke.” He sat up and walk towards you and picked you in a braid-style, which made you startle and held him close. He walked back to the bed, gently sat you down, pull the cover and held you close to his chest.

“Goodnight, my guardian angel!”
