Genesis 1:26*

God created Adam (the first human) AND the animals on land within 1 earth day!!!!! Time in Heaven is sooooo much faster than on earth, which means for Him it could have been like seconds or quicker!!!!! As Christians, we should not cover up our gifts that God gave us because of any reason, including worrying about what people might think, or us feeling nervous, etc. When people see us behaving in Christian ways that show we really care about others’ wellbeing, even in smaller ways like saying thank you to the bus driver, or saying good morning to someone entering an elevator, or even giving change to someone on the street, people can see the light emanating from within us in those actions and might even praise God for it!!!!!

We should not gossip or spread rumors about others. Gossip is enjoyable to the one who hears it and becomes more desired and more ingrained in them, which is bad! We should also not enjoy spreading gossip about others, but love everyone as ourselves and not want to do things that would hurt them. I think it’s also good for us to stop anyone trying to share gossip with us so we don’t become involved with it either.

Lacking self-control or self-discipline is like a breached city without walls because if we don’t have control over ourselves, then we’re basically open and susceptible to dangerous and reckless things which ultimately have a negative impact on us. Everyone is still human, and even if we don’t like what someone does, we should still love them as fellow creations that God made. He loves us all - so how could we say we don’t love someone? But if they don’t like us, it feels even worse for them when we do help them. Also, God rewards us for our actions, so we should not withhold our help from someone if we can help them!!!
