Dome Zero, 1978. First shown as a prototype at the 48th Geneva Motor Show powered by a Nissan 3 litre 6 in-lline transversally-mounted mid-placed engine. After failed attempts at Japanese domestic homologation efforts were concentrated on homologation overseas but the project was eventually abandoned
Wearing a Wire
“There’s no need to worry. Just get him to admit to the murder.” “What if he asks if I’m wearing a wire?! I’m not a good liar!” “Easy. We’re putting two wires on you. So if he asks if you’re wearing A wire, you can say no with a clean conscience.” “Wow. You guys sure are good!” “Okay, go in there and get him!” The man walked into the restaurant and sat next to the mob boss. “I hate to start like this, but are you wearing a wire?” “No.” “I believe you.” “Thank you, sir.” “But, are you wearing three wires?” “No.” “I believe you.” “Thank you, sir. Let’s order some drinks, no?” “Yes, of course, but first…are you wearing two…” “I ADMIT IT I’M-” “…two hundred wires?” “-NOT WEARING 200 WIRES!” “I believe you. Let’s have some drinks. Waiter, I’ll have your best cotton candy flavored vodka.” “I’ll have a beer. Actually, make it three beers. One for me, two for my wires. Oh my God, did I really just do that? Did I really just order beers for the wires I’m wearing? All two of them? Jesus! No! Why? Damn! Scratch those two beers. I just need one beer for me. Yep, just one. You can go on your way waiter. Anyway, boss, let’s talk about that murder you did. That seems like fun dinner talk, yep?” “Stop! Enough of this! Take off your shirt.” The man removed his shirt. To his surprise, there were no wires attached to his chest. The mob boss looked embarrassed. “I’m sorry. Please put your shirt back on. I was wrong. Let’s talk about the murder I did.” Meanwhile in the police surveillance truck, the officers took off their headphones and leaned in to talk. “Did you put the wires on him?” “I thought you did.” “Nope.” “Damn.” “Well, want to throw our badges at birds on the boardwalk?” “Yes, I do.” So they did. A pelican ate one of their badges and they tried to shoot it but then it ate their guns. Birds used to be dinosaurs, but not anymore. Now they just eat guns.
ah shit
The Fastest Ship in the Universe: How Sci-fi Ships Stack Up
From the Millennium Falcon to the USS Enterprise, science fiction has shown us a vast array of out-of-this-world spaceships that defy our rules of physics. Website FatWallet has rounded up some of your favorite intergalactic crafts from television, film and video games, along with real NASA spacecraft, to compare and speculate who has the fastest ship in the universe.
