I'm just surprised that he recognized the moon ...
Wait, this was supposed to be the moon????!
Omg this makes sense! I thought it was... Well, I didn't think it was anything tangible actually, I thought that He Yan has just invented abstract art 500 years earlier
I’m over here laughing my ass off over the comments

We've found the cause and are working on a fix. We expect to have it ready in a few days.

I have like 50 original books I need to read on my tbr list, but I’m still obsessed with fanfiction lately and this is really stopping my ADHD hyper fixation on it

small habits to make big changes
hey loves! i want to talk about small habits that create big changes towards your physical and mental health, and overall just your life right now.
i intentionally made these things very small and easy to incorporate into your life :)
physical health-
going for walks
working out 10 minutes a day (then increase over time)
substituting sugary drinks for water
stretching
getting fresh air/opening a window
prioritize healthy foods + cut back on fast food
balanced diet!
intuitive eating- eat when you’re hungry, stop when you’re full
mental health-
keeping a journal for emotions/venting
cutting back on screentime
productive hobbies
practicing deep breathing
meditating 5 minutes a day
replace your thoughts from what you don’t want to do to what you do want to do (ex. instead of telling yourself “don’t be lazy” tell yourself “be productive”- the brain cant really process negative thoughts)
self improvement doesn’t have to be difficult or overwhelming. always start very small and be consistent. consistency will always beat intensity in the end. in my own journey i started off small and consistent- then with time i was able to do more. like i started off by working out 10 minutes a day, everyday and now i’m able to do 30 minutes. just start with what works for you and then keep going.
selfcare
A dream I’m working towards. Right now I feel at a tipping point where I can see the dream coming true but if I fall, there will be a much harder distance to climb.

Black History Month: Zelda Wynn Valdes
You may not have heard of Zelda Wynn Valdes, but you’ve certainly seen her designs. The fashion designer is credited with creating the original Playboy bunny costume. The work of the trailblazing fashion designer/entrepreneur highlighted the coveted hour-glass figure in the 1940s and 1950s. In 1948, was the first Black designer to open up her own shop on Broadway. Valdes created gorgeous gowns many stars like Mae West, Joyce Bryant, Josephine Baker, Gladys Knight, Sarah Vaughan, Dorothy Dandridge, Ella Fitzgerald and countless others. Later in her life, she created costumes for the Dance Theater of Harlem, and Zelda Wynn Valdes also helped found the National Association of Fashion and Accessory Designers. She died in 2001 at age 96.
Check out some of her work.
Happy Black History Month!
Marilyn Monroe, Jack Benny and Eddie Anderson in the backstage of the “Jack Benny Show” on September 13th, 1953.
Seeing this picture makes me so enticed to see the new biopic about Marilyn Monroe; I think Ana de Armas is going to be sensational especially since she got a 14 minute standing ovation at the Venice film festival so I have pretty high expectations for it. I think what I’m most excited about is learning new things about this woman that everyone is pretty obsessed with. Hopefully this is the movie to end all movies about her.
I have to say that after watching the movie and doing my own research, I’m sad to say the while Ana de Armas did wonderfully in the role, her performance is vastly overshadowed by the over sensationalistic quality of the movie overall. The movie basically rehashes almost every horrible thing that has ever happened to Norma Jean in a what I guess is supposed to be some harsh old Hollywood “lightning”. This movie was really made for the male gaze. It also had some anti-abortion undertones in certain scenes as well. I want to say that I hope every actress that enters this industry is going in it supported by “true”friends & family. What stuck out the most to me in this movie is how alone she was in all this. I kind of want to scold myself for thinking that this movie would be any different from anything else I’ve seen depicting Marilyn Monroe. I suppose I felt that way because Ana gave such a good performance from what I saw in the trailer and she definitely did understand the assignment for the entire movie but I guess I just expected more. The only final thoughts I have on the movie and her legacy as a whole is to let this woman rest in peace it’s already bad enough that she’s laying under and next to who can be only be described as the biggest perverts in Hollywood (google for more one is Hugh Hefner). I don’t think we need another movie after this. I hope this is the last one made.
